Reincarnation Of The Cheater Chapter 60: Blacksmith's Room

[Everything has been sent and is currently trying to pa.s.s through the boundary of the realm. The system will send a notification once your mother receives the items you have sent.]

"How will she respond to the sudden amount of money as well as the access to my bank account?" I say out loud as I wait for the house to finish upgrading.

"Do you think she would believe the effectiveness of the pill?" I ask the system worrying that she would just throw them away thinking she was crazy.

[The recipient is given a false memory that explains the effects of the pill. If they are thrown away it will automatically go back to the case that they came in.]

'That's a relief, it may be a false memory but it won't lead to any changes.'

After looking around the house for a while I got a notification from the system.

[Upgrade complete. The blacksmith addition to the item "house" is complete and can be found in the upstairs hall.]

'Nice, Let's go check it out.' I say while heading back up the stairs to the second-floor hallway.

Sure enough, there was a new door in the hallway and it is located right next to my room door. The door has an anvil carved onto a sign as it hangs from the door. Opening the door leads to a basic fantasy blacksmith shop. There's a huge anvil in the corner with a fireplace in the middle of the back wall.

There are hammers lining the wall as they are all held up on a shelf and they all vary in size and weight. A fire is already lit in the fireplace and I can feel the heat from the entrance of the room. The heat itself wasn't that strong but I can feel it as if it was an extension of my body.

[You can adjust the heat to whatever you need just by pouring in magic power and thinking of the degree needed. The system can change the heat while you get used to the mana usage.]

"Can I enhance weapons here as well?" I ask the system hoping to be able to enhance any equipment myself.

[You can but there are two different ways to enhance equipment. One being a reforging process which includes using mana to strengthen the equipment further which only increases the already existing attributes on a piece of equipment and another being an enchantment where you add properties that weren't present to a piece of equipment using the skill enchantment.]

"So currently I can only do the reforging process. That's fine I guess but how do I start the reforging process on this." I say as I take the Silver Sword that I got back from the blacksmith out of the inventory. This item is OP against Vampires and can be said to be a trump card but I never run into any vampires and I only use it on demons and monsters.

[You currently don't have the skill to increase this item. The Silver Sword is made of pure Silver and was made by someone who was a master blacksmith. If you want to increase the attributes attached to the Silver Sword then you would need a Blacksmithing level of at least 7. Then after that you still need experience in the art of reforging to be able to enhance the Silver Sword any further.]

"d.a.m.n..." I say while putting the silver sword back into my inventory and taking out the Dagger that I got for dismantling.

'Appraisal'

Item: Dismantling Dagger

Description: A dagger specialized in dismantling while it is made out of iron it has a great affinity for mana. The dagger has increased sharpness while dismantling.

That blacksmith was pretty nice to give me a dagger that specialized in dismantling for the price of a regular dagger. Maybe he just didn't know the dagger's effect.

"Can I enhance this?" I ask the system while holding the dagger with expectation.

[Yes you can. It will become sharper and can be used for gaining experience.] The system responds to my expectation with a satisfactory answer.

"So I just need to heat it up and apply mana right?" I ask the system to make sure that I have everything down.

[Basically yes, but further down the line there will be other things you can do to strengthen items.]

As I take a seat by the fireplace I make sure that I'm ready as a wave of red soars across the room reaching the end of the room instantly and then disperses into nothingness.

"Did I just see that?" I ask the system wondering if I had seen a hallucination due to the heat.

[Yes. What you saw was the wave of mana used to create the heat. The magic power was used and sent throughout the room to disperse evenly.] The system answers as I continue to question what I saw.

As I sit down again and grab tongs that were sitting in a rack I put the dagger in place and put it directly into the heat.

[Now apply mana through the tongs until you feel that it is enough.] The system says explaining the next step just in case I needed any help.

As I send mana through my hands and to the tongs there is a wall in the way of me sending the mana any further.

[You sent the mana to the tongs instead of through the tongs. Make sure to envision the dagger, not the tongs.]

As per the system's instructions I sent mana through my hands and through the tongs this time until eventually, it reaches the dagger and stays there acc.u.mulating as I continue to pour more mana in. Eventually, I decided that it was enough mana and stopped sending mana through to the dagger. As I take the tongs and dagger out of the fire I make sure to put the dagger and tongs into the water bin that was on the other side of the room.
