Xie Yuansheng held Feng Xinying's hand and brought her to the bedroom. She was so dazed in her thoughts and Xie Yuansheng was worried about her. "Yingying, I am so sorry that you had to go through this trouble. Just because you would have to face so many problems, I had asked you to not get into its investigation. Right now you should sleep. Please leave the rest of the worries to me." 

Feng Xinying sat on the bed dazed the shocking discovery. "Xie Yuansheng, I want you to find all the details about Ru s.h.i.+s.h.i.+," she said looking at him with fear in her eyes. 

Xie Yuansheng didn't like that element of fear. He said, "What are you afraid of Yingying? I am there with you. No one can harm you." 

"I want to know what was the purpose of Ru s.h.i.+s.h.i.+."

"We will think about it tomorrow. Okay? Just hang on and be patient."

Saying that he asked Feng Xinying to raise her hands so that he could remove her clothes and make her wear his s.h.i.+rt. He removed her clothes and made her wear his s.h.i.+rt while she kept grumbling at Ru s.h.i.+s.h.i.+. "I will go to the root of this problem. "Yes dear, we will." Xie Yuansheng covered her with the blanket and went to the washroom. When he emerged fifteen minutes later, he found her in deep slumber. Next day Feng Xinying woke up early in the morning and took a bath soon. She went to the study room where she started charting out her plan. Xie Yuansheng joined her within half an hour. When he saw her, he pulled the paper out from her and said, "This is of no use." 

"But Yuansheng-"

Xie Yuansheng make a gesture of zipping his lips and asked her to shut up. "Let's have breakfast."

They went downstairs together holding each other's hands. The servants looked at them and smiled. The couple was getting closer each day. When they entered the dining hall, Lu Boyun looked at them. Today he also smiled. He really loved his young miss. "Young miss you are looking tired. Is everything alright?" he asked. 

"Yes Lu Boyun," she replied lazily. 

Xie Yuansheng sat next to his wife and the servants started serving fruits in their plates. In a few minutes Xie Weihui also joined them. Both of them smiled at her as she sat in a chair opposite them. 

She smiled back. She looked nervously at them and asked, "When is your party?"

"It is going to be held this Sunday. Please keep yourself free mother." It was the first time Feng Xinying called Xie Weihui her mother. Xei Weihui was happy to hear those words from her mouth. 

"Of course, do you think I will miss the party of the only child who has got married? This is going to be huge," she replied ecstatically.

Xie Yuansheng looked at her as though waiting for something in antic.i.p.ation.

Xei Weihui said after a short pause, "Feng Xinying, I have something very important to talk to you."

"What is it mother?" asked Feng Xinying looking at her and waiting for to ask the question. 

"Please listen to me with attention and don't interrupt until I finish."

Xie Yuansheng stopped b.u.t.tering his toast and clenched his jaws. 

Xei Weihui exhaled deeply and started, "Your father Feng Zhantian and me were involved in an affair after your mother had died. I became pregnant with his child. However, I told it to him very late afraid that he would force me to abort the child. I loved your father a lot and wanted to gift this child to him as a token of my love. But things went just the opposite. When your father came to know about it, he was furious. He said that he already had a legal heir, which is you and he didn't want any other child. He forced me to abort the child, but the doctor refused because at that time I was five months pregnant." 

Feng Xinying's spoon dropped on the floor as she listened to Xei Weihui with an open mouth. Xie Yuansheng held her shaking hands in his. He knew this was coming and that is why he had stopped Feng Xinying yesterday from taking any action against Ru s.h.i.+s.h.i.+. 

Xei Weihui continued, "I couldn't abort but your father forced me to abandon the child. I was forced to give away the child to the adoption agencies. I had begged him that I would keep my child away and never even come to him for any a.s.sistance but he was adamant. I have no idea where the child was after the adoption was done because things were a tight secret."
