Feng Xinying didn't want to pick her aunt's phone. She knew that after watching the news, she must have been trying to contact her. She disconnected the call and focused her entire attention on the doctor. 

The forensics doctor took them inside his chamber and offered them to sit while he switched on the screen lights and pinned the x-rays over there. He looked at the bullet that was lodged inside Xie Yuansheng's lungs and then turned to look at her. The x-ray was taken just before the operation had started.

"So what is it that you want to know Miss Xinying?" asked the doctor after studying the x-rays and crossing his arms on the table in front of him.

"Xie Yuansheng was wearing a bulletproof jacket, then how could this bullet pierce him?" that was her first question. 

"Well, let me put it this way - because he was wearing a bulletproof jacket the bullet didn't reach his heart, otherwise it could have easily pierced the heart and there would have been an exit wound also. The exit wounds are larger than the entry wounds. Since Xie Yuansheng was wearing a bulletproof jacket, the damage was lessened," he replied. 

"Why is the bullet lodged at an angle?" was her next question. 

"Hmm… There can be several theories for that but for that I would like to know the position of the shooter. Do you know where the shot was fired from?" he asked. 

"No, I have no idea who the shooter is and where was the shot fired from," she said feeling dejected. 

"The TV news is showing who the shooter was. Why don't you go and have a word with him? He might give you the details," he suggested. 

The surgeon started laughing. "Do you think that the shooter would present his modus operandi on a platter? He would never talk to Miss Xinying!" 

Feng Xinying stayed quiet while the surgeon joked. In her heart she knew that sooner or later she had to meet Su Haobing and a.s.sure him that she would take him out soon. 

"But I have to marvel one thing," added the doctor. "The police really showed their work today by catching the shooter so fast!" 

Feng Xinying took a deep breath and ended the conversation. "Thank you for today, doctors. I will come back to you in case I have more questions." 

"Sure!" they replied in unison surprised about her no-nonsense att.i.tude. 

"Can I have your phone numbers?" she asked. She noted their numbers and went out of the chamber. She walked back to the head of the security. There, Lu Boyun was still sitting. He looked tired. 

"Lu Boyun, please go back home and send me some good meal," she asked him with a smile. The old man was very bothered about her. 

He smiled back and left immediately. 

Feng Xinying called her head of security into the room. When they were seated, she said, "Did your people scan the area around the venue?"

"They are still scanning Young Miss."

"Where is Xie Shengjun?" she wanted to talk to him.

"He is on his way here and should be here in the next half an hour." 

Feng Xinying took out the phone and showed him the photo of the bullet. "What kind of gun can fire this type of bullet?" 

The security head looked at the photo. It wasn't clear and all he could make out vaguely was its shape. "Young Miss, since the bullet has damaged as soon as it entered the body, I can't really make out, however, if I get to see the real one, I can find out about it." 

"Hmm… Where do they keep the bullet extracted after operation? Find that out from the nurse and see if you can take a look at it now. We have to do this as soon as possible." 

"Yes, Young Miss," he replied and left. 

Once again Feng Xinying's phone buzzed. It was her aunt. This time she picked up the call. "h.e.l.lo auntie," she greeted her in a soft voice. 

"Ying'er, where are you? I have been hearing all the crazy news about Xie Yuansheng. I want to meet you now. I called up at your home but no one picked," said Jiao Long as soon as Feng Xinying picked the call. 

"Xie Yuansheng had been operated upon auntie…" answered Feng Xinying and gave her the hospital address. 

"I am coming there as soon as possible," said her aunt and cut the call. 

While Feng Xinying was again trying to figure out all the dynamics involved, she was seeing so many missing pieces of the puzzle that her head started aching after some time. She walked out of the room and her feet took her to the post-operative ward. This time the nurse didn't allow her to meet him because the meeting hours were over. There were so much of her security people outside in the lobby that she was rest a.s.sured that no untoward movement would take place. They were keeping a close watch on all those who entered that area. In fact they looked so dangerous that no one even dared to do anything wrong. Even the doctors and nurses were scared. 

Feng Xinying touched the door tenderly and after saying, "Heal fast, Shengu…" she came back to her room. She noticed that Xie Shengjun was already there and he was looking at the papers she was writing on. He was studying them deeply. When she entered, he looked at her and said, "I am taking the responsibility of the Crocodile Organization." This answered one of her questions. 

Feng Xinying nodded. She went to sit on her bed and asked, "Why didn't you ever tell me that you two were the sons of the man who was held responsible for killing my mother? Why didn't you ever tell me that it was your mother who got killed with my mother?" 

Xie Shengjun lowered his head and replied, "Xie Yuansheng, was too scared that if we let you know this, you would start hating him and that was one thing he could never bear…"

Feng Xinying smiled at her mad husband. "That is why he sacrificed himself?"

There was an odd silence. Then she added, "Do you know that I have killed Lim Chuen?" 

"What?" Xie Shengjun asked, completely startled. 

"Yes. I want you to somehow leak this information that Lim Chuen is missing."
