Xie Yuansheng's surprise was beyond words. That house was exactly like he saw in his hypnosis session with the doctor. He could relate how his mother had come out from the house to the garden and picked him up. Yini had run in the house and her mother had said that she would marry the two of them. He went further to open the door of the entrance. He was so anxious and excited that he wanted to go inside and see everything. As he stepped inside, he saw that every piece of furniture was still in its place. Nothing had moved and he made his way around it. 

Memories were flooding his mind. He remembered the two rooms that opened in the main hall, one of which was his. He opened the room and saw that it was the same. There were two beds and he could visualize another boy older than him sitting at the table and doing his homework. It was all so sudden that Xie Yuansheng looked around nervously with wide eyes. It was too much for him to bear. 

He looked at Feng Xinying but all he could see was a little girl running towards him. He ran towards her to pick her up but instead banged into Feng Xinying. She held him by his arms and asked worriedly, "Shengu, why are you running?" 

Xie Yuansheng came back to the present as Feng Xinying's face came in front of him. "Feng Xinying…" he choked. 

"Yes Shengu, tell me," she goaded. 

"I know this house. I saw it in my vision during hypnosis session."

"Really?" said Feng Xinying very excitedly. "I can't believe it that this is the same house. What a coincidence? But do you remember anything else?" 

He looked around again and then his eyes rested on her pet.i.te face. He hugged her tightly and said, "No… I don't… take me back from here. I am feeling very uneasy."

Feng Xinying bit her lower lip while her head was tightly held in his chest. She was so hoping that he would remember his past, at least some it and would want to explore more. But why was he finding it painful? 

He removed himself from her and she could see a very painful expression on his face. "I am having a headache again, Xinying. Please let us go back." 

Xie Yuansheng couldn't bear the sudden flow of memories in his mind. It was too overwhelming. Even though he wanted to go around and explore, he couldn't bring himself to do that and at that moment, only one person was there whom he knew. He clung to her like she was his life. 

"Take me home, Feng Xinying," he said hugging her again and closed his eyes. 

Feng Xinying patted his back and said, "Okay, let us go home. I didn't know that this house would trigger your mind. We can come here later if you like."

He nodded his head while hugging her. Feng Xinying removed herself and held his hand a.s.suring him that he needn't worry so much. Together they walked out and went back home. Throughout the way back home he was quiet but his headache increased and by the time they reached home, he had a throbbing headache. Feng Xinying took him to his room and made him sleep after giving him his medication. She came out after switching off the lights. She was looking forward to see the psychiatrist tomorrow. 

However, when she was going to her bedroom the psychiatrist called and informed her that he was going out for a conference and would be available after a week. Feng Xinying was crestfallen. Over here Xie Yuansheng was in a bad shape and over there the doctor wasn't available. She found herself alone in this battle of wits. Rather than going to her room, she turned back and went to Xie Yuansheng's room where she lied next to him and soon slept off holding his hand. 

Xie Yuansheng woke up in the night around 9PM and found her sleeping next to him. She looked so vulnerable and pet.i.te that he immediately felt lots of love and affection for her. Seeing that her chest was not covered with the blanket, he covered her completely. Bending down a little, he removed a strand of hair from her face and kissed her lightly on the cheek. To his surprise, her lips curved up. Not able to resist her rosy lips, he kissed them. Feng Xinying woke up with a kiss. When she opened her eyes, she saw Xie Yuansheng's face right next to hers. Smiling at her, he said "I didn't want to wake you up." 

She kissed his nose tip and replied, "Then why did you kiss me?" 

"Were you dreaming? I didn't kiss you," he said as he once again kissed her on her lips.

"I wasn't dreaming Shengu," she said with a chuckle. 

"Of course you were!" he said and showered her with more kisses on her face. Feng Xinying started giggling. 

Once he was done to his heart's content, he got up to sit beside her and asked, "Why do you want to buy that house in s.h.i.+nas.h.i.+ residencies?" 

Feng Xinying had to speak something that he should believe. How could she say that the house was already Xie Shengjun's property? It was never sold in the first place. Their uncle had usurped this house after the death of her brother and his wife. However, after his death the two brothers had taken it back. 

She said, "The house had come up in the market recently. It is a very lucrative property and as a businesswoman I feel that its value would go higher. So I should invest in it?" She gazed at Xie Yuansheng who seemed to mull on something. Afraid of his next question, she said, "I didn't know that it was the same house that you have seen in your memories. I won't buy it if it hurts you so much." 

He looked at her and saw that a strand of hair had again come to her cheeks. He removed it from her face and said, "Buy it…" 

"Sure?"

"Hmm…" he replied.
