Fl.u.s.tered at Haru Na's sentence, Xie Yuansheng said, "Do you mean like now?" 

Haru Na laughed. "No, no, I mean that the labor pains have started and so it would take a few hours."

Xie Shengjun was holding two cups of coffee in his hands when Xie Yuansheng had shoved the cup he was holding in his hand. He was frozen to death when Feng Xinying shouted in pain and stood transfixed in his place. He looked from Haru Na to Xie Yuansheng and to Feng Xinying. In a croaky voice he asked, "What should I do?" 

A soft voice from behind said, "Don't be so worried Xie Shengjun. Feng Xinying would be fine." 

He turned around sharply to find a smiling Keira who was holding Xie Rong in her hands. Xie Rong was wide-awake and as soon as saw her daddy she became excited. She giggled and threw her hands and feet in his direction making all sorts of noises. 

With the arrival of that little bundle of joy, both the brothers became relaxed and thawed. Xie Shengjun kept the coffee cups on the table nearby and held his baby in his right hand as he hugged Keira with his left. All his anger and anxiety dissipated. He kissed her hair and whispered, "Thanks for coming."

"I had to. After all, my best friend is giving birth. Do you think I would have stayed away?" 

Feng Xinying chuckled. She didn't know what disagreement transpired between them earlier, but she could sense that it was all over now. Keira went to her and hugged her. "I am planning to stay with you throughout the labor pains." Feng Xinying hugged her back and thanked her. 

Keira turned to look at her husband and said, "You must not be here for long. Take Rong'er back home soon. The last time you fainted and I don't want my weak-hearted husband to go through the same process." 

Xie Yuansheng started laughing loudly. He pointed at Xie Shengjun and held his stomach because of the joke. "Brother you are surely weak-hearted. You fainted in the labor room." 

Xie Shengjun clenched his jaws. He looked at Xie Rong and said, "See how they are mocking your daddy? You better scold them. They are evil!" 

Little Rongrong moved her lips, "Furrrrrr" splattering a lot of saliva around her face in an attempt to scold those who dared to laugh at her father. 

"We will see how you do Xie Yuansheng," said Keira as she put her hands on her waist making Feng Xinying laugh in the process. 

"Oh! Puhlease! I am definitely stronger than my older brother. This would be a cakewalk for me because I am so eager to see my baby doll!" he replied waving his hand in air dismissing their imagination. 

"Even I was eager to see my Rong'er!" said his older brother with a raised eyebrow. 

Shu Ning had a narrow escape that day. She went back to the room where she had changed her dress. When she was about to open the door, she heard some voices from inside. There were two more nurses inside. They were also changing perhaps. Slowly she turned the doork.n.o.b and opened the door. Very quietly and as if she was a wallflower, she walked inside and bowed to the two of them. They looked at her with a strange expression. One of them asked, "Are you new here? We haven't seen you before."

"Y- yes," she replied and quickly went to fetch her bag. She grabbed it and walked out of the room closing the door behind her. She went to the bathroom nearby and changed back in her normal clothes. After that she left the hospital premises and caught a bus to her home. It was too late and she knew that even BF wouldn't be there. Her only chance to kill Feng Xinying was gone. 

As the bus drove to the destination, she rested her head on the gla.s.s and looked outside. It was only 7PM and the city around her was so alive, yet her heart was dark. Only revenge would bring it to life. She started thinking of ways to start with it. She realized she was just going anywhere she thought she would and that was wasting her precious time. Why not form a concrete plan? That night she was unable to sleep because she had to think about how to start and trap all of them. Was it possible to bring them all together and kill them - Xie Shengjun, Keira, Xie Rong, Xie Yuansheng, Feng Xinying and BF? 

Sleep overtook her senses and she couldn't come up with anything.

Feng Xinying's pains had increased and she was now experiencing them at every one hour interval. It was 3AM in the night and the doctor had said that unless she gets them at every fifteen minutes, she was nowhere close to giving birth. Feng Xinying was tough woman. She endured the pain silently for a long time but then her will gave up now. So when the next pain came, she shouted loud and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, "Xie Yuansheng, I hate you! Just you wait once this is over!" 

Xie Yuansheng was looking tough on the exterior, but inside he was a mess. "It will be fine," he replied. Xie Shengjun had left long time back. 

"Fine, my foot! It is because of you that- AHHHHHH!" came a loud cry. 

This time Xie Yuansheng gave up on his tough exterior. "Baby!" he said hoa.r.s.ely as he rushed to her side. Keira was sitting next to Feng Xinying stroking her hands. Feng Xinying was sweating profusely due to pain. As soon as Xie Yuansheng came to her side, she hit him. "Stay away!" 

Poor Xie Yuansheng backed a little. 

"Where are you going?" she shouted. 

He stared blankly at her face. "What do I do?" he cried not knowing what to do exactly. This was so much tougher than business decisions. 

"Come here!" she yelled. 

He went near her. She held his hand and he hugged her tightly. "I am so sorry baby." 

"Really?" she looked at his face with a clenched jaw. "AHHHHHHHH!" 

Xie Yuansheng was feeling terrible. How could he do that to his lovely wife? He shuddered and then almost made a face as if he was about to cry. "Baby… I will never do this to you again." 

Keira burst out laughing.
