As soon as the model jumped out his lap, Feng Xinying glared at Xie Yuansheng. Why did he allow that model to stay on his lap? Xie Yuansheng looked at her becoming green with envy and he couldn't help but smile. Patting her head lightly, he said, "These are promotional kicks. When I bought these tickets from the organizer, this was the condition he offered me." Then he again held her hand and squeezed it but she was too angry and retracted it. She sat down with her cheeks puffed and hands across her chest. Xie Yuansheng played with her until the show got over. Feng Xinying knew that he was playing with her. She was happy that he was caressing her but she had to show her anger.

Once the fas.h.i.+on show got over, they were ushered by the organizer into a private dining hall where all the models, Ralph and crème da la crème of the society was present. Somehow Luciano also managed to sneak in there. He was already angry with Xie Yuansheng for stealing away Xinying.

Feng Xinying was standing with Yuansheng who was surrounded by the team of organizers. They were talking with him politely and were thanking him for buying the entire VVIP row. Ralph and his top models were also standing there. When Ralph looked at Feng Xinying, he said, "I am sure you are model. Next time I am here, I will contact you for showcasing my next collection? Would you do the honors?

Feng Xinying was so excited that she was being asked to model by idol that she exclaimed, "Yes!"

Ralph started laughing at her girlish excitement. He knew that she was an established model.

Luciano was listening to Ralph. He turned around from where he was standing and said, "Yes, you must Feng Xinying. You are just wasting your talent." Before he could say anything further, another skimpy dressed model came and stood right beside Xie Yuansheng. She offered him the wine she was having and said, "You know out of all the wines I have tasted so far, this is the best. Would you like to try it?"

Feng Xinying narrowed her eyes at her. She was well versed with her types who wanted to trap the rich men by their s.e.xy antics. She stepped forward and said, "Really? Then let me try." Saying that she s.n.a.t.c.hed the gla.s.s from her hand and gulped the wine in one go. The model was shocked and embarra.s.sed. She looked at Xie Yuansheng and said, "I am sorry but people are nasty often. Let's go to my room here in the hotel and I will give you best wine."

Xie Yuansheng gave her a cold stare. His expressions were so stern that the model cringed. "Don't ever come near me again!" He warned her so menacingly that she left immediately.

Feng Xinying was satisfied. She smiled and they continued to talk to Ralph. Luciano was completely sidelined. After the c.o.c.ktails, they all moved to the dining area. However, there also another model came and all of a sudden brushed her arms with Xie Yuansheng. Before he could react, she tried to put her hand across his shoulders. "Hey handsome, how about a kiss to your fan here?" She said lewdly.

"These pests," Fen Xinying thought and lightly smacked her hand away. The model shrugged her shoulders as if saying 'who are you?'

Feng Xinying circled her hand around him and said, "His date for the evening!" as if she had heard what the model said.

The model made a dirty face and left. Luciano was lurking around and moment he heard 'date', he spluttered the food he was eating coughing a lot. The man standing with him patted his back. Luciano hoped that Feng Xinying would look at him and tend to him, but she was now busy not letting anyone come near her date.

Xie Yuansheng teased her, "Date?"

"I said that to save you from all these pesky models. You don't know this world. They will hound you once they get the taste of you," she replied not admitting to her envious feelings.

"Ah ha!" Replied Xie Yuansheng and together they proceeded to have their dinner. They all sat around a large table. There were name tags for every person on each chair and Xie Yuansheng was supposed to sit in between the organizer and one of the top models. When Feng Xinying saw that, she removed the name tag of that model quietly and sat down next to him. She threw the tag beneath the table making the model angry at the organizer for overlooking her presence. Feng Xinying quietly watched the drama happening. Soon the dinner was served.

Feng Xinying kept filling Xie Yuansheng's plate every now and then more so that every other woman in the room sees it so that they don't approach him.

The organizer offered them another gla.s.s of wine to accompany with food. By the time dinner was over, Feng Xinying had had four gla.s.ses of wine. She was now tipsy.

Everyone started to leave. When Xie Yuansheng got up, he asked Feng Xinying to get up too. She said, "Get the car here Xiao Sheng."

Xie Yuansheng loved the way she addressed his so dearly. He bent down and said, "Yingying, the car can't come here."

"Then get the car here," she replied putting her finger on his lips.
