SEVEN YEARS BACK- THE NIGHT LU XION AND ZENG s.h.i.+HONG FOUND HER

Lu Xion has just taken over the t.i.tle of the King of the underworld, becoming the youngest man to take over the position at the age of 23. But due to his inexperience, Zeng s.h.i.+hong was still under the control of most of the powers and used to accompany Xion on most of the missions.

That night Zeng s.h.i.+hong's convoy was pa.s.sing through the old street. This route was the least taken route, as it led to the old abandoned chemical factories of the country Y. Due to which, this has become the favorite hidding spot for criminals.

They were returning after handling one of their missions in country Y, when the car in the front stopped abruptly, making the entire convoy to follow the trend.

"What's wrong?" Lu Xion's gruff voice was heard, who was sitting beside Zeng s.h.i.+hong in his luxury Hummer Suv.

"I'll check" Wu Shen, Zeng s.h.i.+hong's a.s.sistant called the driver of the first car to know the reason behind their stoppage. Later they were informed that a man was lying in the middle of the street. Due to their underworld links, it was common for their enemies to play such cheap tricks and ambush them. Therefore none of the drivers came out to check the man lying on the street.

Wu Shen waited for his boss' orders at the situation. But before he could say anything, Zeng s.h.i.+hong removed his stare out of the window and gave his judgment. "No! It's not an ambush but someone is genuinely hurt. Look around; because of the storm the entire field of crops has overturned, this is not a place for an ambush. Go and check who he is. If he's alive throw him to the nearest hospital, I don't want any unnecessary attention on this route" He coldly ordered Wu Shen. Just a while ago they have killed more than two dozen men in one of the old chemical factories and dumped their bodies in the chemical container to remove their traces.

Wu Shen gets off the car to monitor the whole situation personally. After making sure that there's nothing suspicious, he approached the body lying on the street. Surprisingly at a closer glance, he was not a man but a young girl…

Wu Shen crouched down and turned her body to see her face. It's nothing new for him to see someone brutally murdered or tortured or an accident, but never had he thought in his wildest dreams that he would witness something like this. His eyes went wide at the pitiful condition of the girl. At first, he took off his coat to cover the almost naked body of the girl, as in the name of clothes she was wearing a badly tattered dress.

Her eyes were closed but there was blood around them and some tiny gla.s.s shards were p.r.i.c.ked on her face. Some were even near her eyes… Her lips have turned purple and her skin was cold and white as if complete blood was drained from her body. Her clothes were drenched, and sticking to her frail body. A big gla.s.s shard was pierced on her right side of the waist, he didn't dare to touch it as probably gla.s.s shard was stopping the blood flow from oozing out.

There was no counting of the small and medium gla.s.s shards on her upper body. Her cheeks were swollen, with finger marks on them.

She was practically lifeless, with no signs of breathing. He checked her pulse, "Pulse is weak, she's alive. Get me the first aid kit. I'll stop the bleeding on her chest, otherwise, she won't make it to the hospital"
