Yang Sheng got horrified seeing Hu Chi's brutal condition, his face slowly drained of blood. He had used many ways to torture people but this method of letting something tear you from inside is bone-chilling. He couldn't believe the thing happening in front of his eyes. "You are insane! Mad woman!"

"I became insane because of you. Now bear with it." her entire being trembled in a rage. She s.h.i.+fted her eyes to the men standing in the corner with their weapons raised at her. "By killing me you cannot escape the death hovering over your heads. It will only make the situation worse."

"ALL OF YOU BACK OFF." Yang Sheng yelled, the live demonstration she has given just now and the burning rage in her eyes is telling him he has taken a wrong move by going against her.

"Prepare a helicopter and let everyone leave. If you'll do that, I'll quietly leave the place with my spiders and not blow up the Island." Yang Sheng heard Xiu Mei's voice and frowned.

"No b.l.o.o.d.y ways! You are tricking me. The moment you're out of this Island, you'll still blow it up. Isn't killing me your ultimate goal?"

Seeing her sharp eyes narrowed down at him, Yang Sheng felt uncomfortable. However, her next statement surprised him. "I'm staying. Let everyone else go."

"What about these deadly spiders?" He pointed at the blood-soaked spiders that crawled out of Hu Chi's dead body and climbed on Xiu Mei's shoulder.

"They will leave the place, too. Except for the Big Spidy." Xiu Mei's reasoning was simple, she would keep the Big Spidy to control Yang Sheng while her family leaves the place safely.

As far as her life is concerned, Jianyu is coming to save her. Her only aim to come here was to get her father back, Jianyu and Lu Xion will handle the rest.

Jianyu will come here like a tsunami, destroying everything that comes in his way…. avenging for keeping him and his brothers from motherly love, for tormenting his father, for separating Xiu Mei and him not once but twice….

"No!" Yang Sheng said. "I have a condition…. On one side your people will leave the island while on the other, you'll leave with me." The Island's security is breached he cannot take the risk of staying here, especially when XM is already holding the controls in her palm. Before she destroys anything, he will leave the Island with his men, too.

Xiu Mei looked at both her fathers once who was now slowly coming out of their unconscious state. Her nose turned sour. She communicated with Daiyu through her eyes and nodded. "I will!"

"No!" Daiyu moved in front of her and blocked her path. "Miss. XM, don't do this. It took you over two decades to reunite with your father. Don't let go of him now."

"Take them away! Uncle Ghost was once in the military he knows how to fly a helicopter." Xiu Mei shoved Daiyu away.

Yang Sheng saw her nodding at him and gestured his men to make arrangements. Right now the most important thing for him is to save his a.s.s. Once he is out of this mess, there are many ways to claim everything back as he would still be having XM in his control, but for that, he has to survive first.

A few hours back…..

After Xiu Mei left with Hu Chi, Feng Jianyu and Ly Xion begin with their own plan. Dressed in simple camouflage trousers, black s.h.i.+rt and brown boots with the bullet-proof vests on their upper body, multiple bullets tucked at their waist, a communicating device at ear and night vision gla.s.ses they were ready to bring back Xiu Mei and Mo Zhichan.

Rong Xiang came running dressed in the same outfit, panting. "There are a few forces approaching us from three sides. They have surrounded around the Island and have rocket launchers on their sh.i.p.s."

"This man…." Bai Xin came holding a laptop, worry laced on her face. "They are Yang Sheng's clients, members of the infamous terrorist organization to whom he supplies weapons and drugs." Bai Xin's network of keeping up with the information of these kinds of people is top-notch. While serving European Mafia she gained all this, after joining Lu Xion and Xiu Mei's team, she was helping them with the same information for years.

Feng Jianyu and Lu Xion shared glances. They understood Yang Sheng was aware of their location from the beginning. He has sent these men to get rid of them permanently.

"Xin…. Sniper… terrace." Bai Xin instantly left to become the secret sniper and take over the charge on the terrace. She has done it many times and knows her task well.

"Xiang, communicate with Jin." Feng Jianyu ordered.

Lu Xion picked a gun in each hand, he looked at Feng Jianyu. "I'm going with Feng, and Zixin to the north corridor…."

"... Junjie, Yeti, and I…. in the west wing. Be careful." Feng Jinyu showed his smart.w.a.tch telling him to be in touch. "Let's go Junjie."

Instead of a normal gun, Feng Junji picked the Uji submachine gun capable of firing 600 rounds per minute. He would be the shadow of his brother.

Feng Jianyu looked at his watch once. Before leaving Xiu Mei had informed her she has swallowed a device that will keep him informed about her location and health. He felt uneasy seeing her unstable heart rate.

He has to handle these pests and go to his woman ASAP. Yang Sheng has planned deeply. He hit two birds with a single stone by kidnapping Philips Petrov's granddaughter. By doing so he not only controlled the Vice President but divided their force into two.

If his calculation is not wrong, the force sent by Yang Sheng outnumbers them significantly. He even lied by asking Philips Petrov to not kill Feng Jianyu and misguided them. In fact, his only aim is to kill XM's biggest power, i.e. Feng Jianyu and Lu Xion.

Once they are dead, Xiu Mei would give up on her own.

Thinking about Xiu Mei giving up, an uneasy feeling shrouded his heart. Xiu Mei's words echoed in his ear…. 'Jianyu… if anything happens to you, I would any day prefer death over living without you. I won't think twice before killing myself.'

Feng Jianyu shook his head to stop thinking about it. 'Mei, you better not do anything reckless. I'm coming, love…. I'm coming…..'

The thunderous sound of explosives, gun firing, and rocket launchers echoed everywhere.

The first blow that comes out from Jianyu's gun entered straight into the head of the commander who was leading an army of over thirty men towards the mansion followed by many, as enemy's forces keep on falling on the ground like dry leaves.

From the terrace, Xin rained bullets taking the enemy side by surprise. Undoubtedly, her shooting skills were unparalleled, not missing a single target.

"Ahh…."

Jianyu looked at his left when Junjie was. .h.i.t by a bullet. He cast a glance at Junjie's bleeding hand, his gaze turned murderous as he looked ahead at the culprit. The next second he was found lying on the ground, dead.

"You okay?" Feng Jianyu asked concerned. "Step back. Take the position behind me."

"No ways…. I'm your baby brother, not a coward who will hide behind you for protection." Feng Junjie kept his gaze ahead, targeting the enemies. "A small wound won't kill me."

From the mansion's broken window, Feng Jianyu eyes fell on the oil barrel that had rolled out of the s.h.i.+p they had destroyed a while ago. Large forces of men were coming in their direction. He had already lost many of his men if this force managed to enter into the mansion that would be dangerous.

Feng Jianyu turned to look at his remaining men. "Cover for me." Saying he jumped out of the window, taking advantage of the chill of the fog spread everywhere, he commando crawled towards the barrel and attached the time bomb to it at one minute.

While crawling back, the dial his wrist.w.a.tch dropped and only the strap remained on his wrist. "It will explode in one minute." To his horror, the dial was missing when he raised his wrist to check the time. His head snapped to the direction where he went a moment ago.

The dial…..!?
