Su Zixin and Xin Mei both turned their heads toward the door when they heard the voice of the third party. They both sighed when they saw it was Gu Nan, not someone else from the sets of revenge. Otherwise, it would have been a big scandal.

"Gu Nan, you scared us." Xin Mei took a deep breath and placed her hand over her heart. "What are you doing here?"

"I came here with Yeye. He was here to talk with director Zhang. Uncle Jichen wants director Zhang to direct his next movie." Gu Nan informed and took her seat on spare stool beside Su Zixin.

"Chen Bai, how are you?" she asked him with a smile. 

Chen Bai and He Ye were close friends so Gu Nan was quite familiar to him.

"I am fine. What about you Gu Nan?"

They talked for some time before Gu Nan asked the question, which was bugging her from some time.

"Who is pregnant? Are you pregnant MeiMei?" She turned and looked at Xin Mei with wide eyes.

"No, I…" before Xin Mei could reject, she was interrupted Su Zixin.

"Yes, she is. She was puking when I entered the room. Not only that, she is late in her periods and is feeling dizzy. I can't believe that I am going to become an uncle." Su Zixin grinned.

Gu Nan looked at him with wide eyes. A thought suddenly crossed her mind. 'Su Zixin doesn't know Xin Mei is married, then how could he say that she is pregnant? I can't act happy in front of him. I have to change his mind.'

"How can she be pregnant? Our MeiMei is still single and pure flower." Gu Nan chuckled awkwardly.

Su Zixin grinned when he heard her. "You don't need to act in front of me. I know our sweet Xin Mei here is married. I am a newspaper and nothing can be hidden from me."

Gu Nan looked at Xin Mei with wide eyes. She nodded her head in confirmation.

"Oh," Gu Nan nodded her head and soon a grin appeared on her lips. "Oh my G.o.d Xin Mei, I can't believe that you are going to be a mother." She squealed and hugged Xin Mei tight. 

Xin Mei felt suffocated in her hug so she pushed her back. "I am not pregnant. I am on pills. I am sure I am not feeling well because of tiredness. Nothing more."

"Hah, like pills always work." Gu Nan threw her hair back. "They can fail, girl. Therefore, in my advice, you should have a pregnancy test. Who knows if you are pregnant?"

Xin Mei became stunned when she heard Gu Nan. What if she was pregnant? However, Su Yuchen had said that the pills were trustworthy.

"Girl, here take this pregnancy test kit and check if you are pregnant or not." Gu Nan pulled out a test kit from her handbag and gave it to Xin Mei.

"What is it doing with you?" Xin Mei looked at her friend with wide eyes.

Gu Nan blushed and cleared her throat. "I also think that I am pregnant." Her cheeks turned pink in shyness.

Xin Mei smiled when she saw her outspoken friend blus.h.i.+ng like this.

"Wow? Geez, Double happiness." Su Zixin jumped in excitement only to be glared by Gu Nan.

"It's not confirmed till now and both of you are not going to say a word in front of Yeye till I confirm it by myself." Gu Nan warned them. Then she huffed aloud. "Who knows how he will react after knowing I may be expecting."

"I am sure he will take you to the civil bureau to get married. That man is suffering from so long to get married to you." Su Zixin interjected with a chuckle.

"No biggie."

The three of them talked for sometimes when He Ye also entered in the changing room.

"Hey man." Su Zixin walked towards him and gave him a man-to-man hug. After hugging him, he grinned with mischief. "There is a good new man."

"Zixi…Chen Bai, I am warning you. You will not open your mouth."

Su Zixin grinned when he saw the glare of Xin Mei. Becoming heartless, he spoke, "Xiao Mei is pregnant."

"You..., what?" He Ye looked at her with dumbfound expression on his face. He was surprised knowing his little sister was pregnant.

"Gege it's nothing like that." Xin Mei shook her head. "This man over here loves to spread false rumours. I am feeling a little down today and he thinks I am pregnant." 

He Ye sighed when he heard her. "But what if you are….amm…I mean pregnant?" he asked awkwardly. "What about your career? You know you can no longer sustain in the film industry if you are…."

"Gege, stop thinking about this when I am not even pregnant." 

Xin Mei didn't want to talk on the topic of pregnancy. She wanted to trust her husband who had said that pills worked hundred percent. 

The four of them talked for some time. Xin Mei also served them ice cream, which was stored in her refrigerator. 

When Su Zixin saw Gu Nan throwing tantrums for the flavour of ice-cream, he grinned, "He Ye, there is another good news for you. You are going to become a father."

Eyes of He Ye widened when he heard Chen Bai. In his shock, he spurted out ice cream on the face of Chen Bai. 

"Chen Bai, you…" Gu Nan gritted her teeth and threw her cup of ice cream on his face. "Can't you keep your mouth shut?"

"You are pregnant?" He Ye asked with shock, surprise, and happiness. "Can I expect yes for the marriage?"

"Yes, yes, yes." Su Zixin grinned.

"You…" Gu Nan fumed and kicked on his family jewel. "Meimei, I am leaving. I will call you later in a day."

With that Gu Nan left the room where He Ye tailed behind her, trying to know if it was finally yes from her or not.

"He Ye, Gu Nan, I am all free to help you both with your wedding preparations….Ouch." Su Zixin rushed behind Gu Nan and teased them about their wedding preparations. Next second, he was angrily pulled by his collar, by Xin Mei.

"You woman, what are you doing?" he groaned.

"Su Zixin, I am warning you. If you dared to spread any further rumours that I am pregnant then I will kill you," she warned him. Her eyes were filled with fury. "I. Am. Not. Pregnant. I trust the pills given to me by Su Yuchen."

"You trust on brother?" Su Zixin asked with surprise in his voice. Soon enough, he broke down in the fits of laughter. "I am sure brother had given you counterfeited pills, to knock you out. By making you pregnant, he wants to tie you down beside him for forever."

"With one stone, he is killing two birds. He will tie you down as his wife forever and you will be no longer in the film industry once pregnant, he will not need to worry about you getting intimate with another male."

Heart of Xin Mei dropped in her stomach when she heard Su Zixin. 

What if Su Yuchen had lied to her about the pills?

What if she was pregnant?

She wanted the baby but was she ready? Other thing which bugged her was, had Su Yuchen gave her counterfeited pills, to make her pregnant?
