Next day, when Xin Mei arrived on to the sets, she was welcomed in a very grand manner. Her changing room was decorated with large banners, balloons and her off-screen photos from the sets.

Everyone was present in the small room and welcomed Xin Mei with loud claps. One after another, everyone came to welcome her. They were also happy that her parents did not file any case against the movie, which could have brought the filming at a halt.

"Welcome back, Xin Mei. Filming was no fun without you." Prop manager welcomed Xin Mei with a smile on his lips. "I hope you will forgive me for my ignorance. If not for my negligence…"

"Ah, don't worry prop manager. I am not angry on you," Xin Mei interrupted him. "I hope such kind of event will not repeat again."

"Don't worry Xin Mei, it will not repeat again." Prop manager promised her.

After prop manager, one after another, everyone came to meet her. Xin Mei did not think that so many people on the sets would miss her presence.

"Xin Mei, I missed you so much." Su Zixin hugged her tightly. He also waved with her from left to right.

"You are acting as if we haven't met last night." She murmured in his ears.

"So what? For others, we are meeting after three weeks. Let me set an example for them that I am a caring co-star." He whispered back.

Xin Mei shook her head when she heard him.

When Xin men broke the hug with Su Zixin, Tang Min also walked forward to hug her. Only, he knew how badly he had missed her. He had visited the hospital, only to be stopped by the guards. He wanted to call her number but on other hand, he did not want to look like a desperate.

"Xin Mei, I also missed you very much."

Tang Min forwarded his hands to hug her when Xin Mei awkwardly stepped back. Tang Min smiled sadly and took his hands back.

"I was also worried about you. I visited the temple to pray for you. I took a breath of relief only when we were informed that you weren't injured badly." He spoke and smiled at Xin Mei.

"Thanks for your prayers, Tang Min." Xin Mei nodded her head.

When everyone had met Xin Mei, Fang Lin rushed towards her and hugged her tight. After sending everyone off, Fang Lin chatted with Xin Mei for some time.

"Xin Mei, here is your script for the day." Mister Gong Soujin, a.s.sistant director entered in her room and gave her the script. Xin Mei smiled and nodded to him.

For the next few days, director Zhang had ensured that Xin Mei was not getting any fatigue during the shoot. He gave her proper rest times and refreshments. He also ensured that her scenes were always simple, not tiring one.

Still, sometimes Xin Mei felt unwell. Onsets, she felt dizzy and nauseous.  

One day, when she returned after her scenes, she felt a feeling of gag burning in her stomach. She rushed towards the bathroom and vomited her guts out.

Unluckily, Fang Lin was absent that day but fortunately Su Zixin entered in her room because he wanted to talk about something with her.

"Xiao Mei, what happened to you?" Su Zixin entered in the bathroom and looked at her with worry filled eyes. He pulled back her hairs and started to rub her back.

"Are you alright?" he asked with concern.

She nodded her head and rinsed her mouth. She took deep breath and walked outside of the bathroom. Su Zixin was following behind her. 

"Here," Su Zixin gave her a bottle of water. She took the bottle from his hand and gulped down the content in a single sip.

"Xiao Mei, are you sure you are all fine? Do I need to take you to the hospital?" Su Zixin again asked with worry.

"Yes, I am fine." Xin Mei replied. "I feel a t.i.tle tired and fatigued which is not a big deal."

Su Zixin nodded his head. He thought for sometime before a thought crossed his mind, without filtering his words, he asked, "Xiao Mei, are you pregnant?"

Xin Mei chocked on the water and started to cough hard…cough...cough…cough…

With wide eyes, she looked at Su Zixin. "What do you mean by pregnant? I am not pregnant!" she immediately declined. Her face was turning white like a sheet. She could not be pregnant, right.

"How can you not be pregnant?" Su Zixin leaned towards her and looked in her eyes. "I know about the strength of my brother. It is not a big deal if he had knocked you. Besides, you are feeling dizzy and are vomiting. Aren't these symptoms of pregnancy? When was the last time you were on your periods?"

Xin Mei opened and closed her mouth like a fish when she heard Su Zixin. When was the last time she was on her periods?

She gulped when she calculated that she was late on her periods. Her heart started to beat fast at the thought that she was pregnant. Happiness…sadness…guilt…fear stuck her heart….flashes of her dreams where she was pregnant also flashed in front of her eyes…..

"No, I can't be pregnant." She again denied and shook her head.  

It wasn't as if she didn't want a baby. It's just…unlike her dream...this time she wanted to be physically and mentally ready for baby. Su Yuchen and she hadn't discussed the baby. Her career, her revenge everything would be on the line if she were pregnant.

"Why can't you be pregnant? Don't tell me brother and you haven't done it till now." He looked at her with wide eyes.

"It's nothing like that." Xin Mei shook her head. "I am on pills. I can't be pregnant."

Xin Mei spoke. She was kind of trying to console herself.

"Don't you know pills can fail sometime?" Su Zixin grinned. His eyes flashed with happiness. "Oh my G.o.d, I can't believe that I am going to become the second uncle. Xiao Mei, you are pregnant. Like really, you are pregnant." He chuckled with delight.

"Who is pregnant?" Xin Mei and Su Zixin both froze when they heard a third voice in the dressing room.
