Only one day was left for the birthday of Xin Mei and she was very excited to know what Su Yuchen would gift to her.

From childhood, she always had this excitement for her birthday. She always looked forward to her birthday presents. She did not care about the value she cared about the feelings hidden in the gift.

Her family also knew her craze for her birthday. They always started to wish her five days in advance before her birthday. Everyone worked and thought hard for the gift which they would be giving to her. 

Xin Jin always threw an expensive birthday party for her. He wanted to make her day special. She treated herself as a royal princess on her birthday.

Now, that she was married and was deeply in love with Su Yuchen, she did not expect any less from him. She wanted him to gift her a memorable birthday present.

"What will he gift to me?" she thought and ran her brain in all the directions. 

Romantic dinner, lavish birthday party, vacation, some expensive jewellery…she thought of everything. She also tried to sneak in to know what he would gift her but Su Yuchen was very silent about her birthday present.

It was like, he did not remember her birthday!

"No, No, No, I am sure he knows tomorrow is his love's birthday. I am sure he has planned a surprise for me." She consoled herself.

During the breakfast, she kept looking at Su Yuchen, thinking that there must be a change in his expression if he was planning something for her, for the next day.

But Nah, his expressions were normal, same as every day!

'Does he not remember my birthday or is he so good to keep his excitement hidden?' She thought and then she remembered all the surprises which Su Yuchen had given to her.

'He is very good at keeping secrets and surprises. I am sure he is planning something.'

After having her breakfast, Xin Mei made her way towards the studio where filming of her jewellery commercial would be taking place. She met TingTing and Fang Lin who gave her instructions for the commercial.

"Xin Mei, here is your birthday present." Fang Lin smiled and pa.s.sed her a birthday present. "Happy Birthday Xin Mei. May you have many birthdays to come."

Xin Mei smiled and took the gift from her hand. "Thank you, Fang Lin., I didn't know that you know about my birth date."

"I saw it on your resume."

After some time, TingTing also wished her in advance and gave her, her birthday present.

By the time Xin Mei was done with the photoshoot of jewellery commercial, she was h.e.l.l tired. She had changed from one costume to another which had made her tired.

When she reached home, she was planning to retire early, but she got the surprise of her life when a huge balloon full of ribbons was blasted on her head, and her family and friends started to sing a birthday song for her.

The living room was decorated with blue and white balloons. There was also a big banner with 'Happy Birthday Xin Mei.'

Happy birthday our sweet Xin Mei."

Xin Mei grinned and looked at her parents, her uncle and aunt, He Ye and Gu Nan, grandpa, and grandma, Su Zixin and Xin Yan. They all were smiling and held a small to big gift in their hands.

"Happy Birthday, love." Su Yuchen walked towards her and smiled brightly. He removed the ribbons from her hair and smiled down at her with love stuck expression on his face.

"Tomorrow will not be a special day only for you, but also for me because tomorrow is the day when my love, my life has arrived on the earth, once again happy birthday."

Su Yuchen wanted to lean and kiss her, to tell her how happy he was feeling. He was seriously feeling very happy and lucky that Xin Mei was born on the earth and he got a chance to be with her.

"But why today? Why have you thrown a birthday party today only?" 

"Because Su Yuchen has booked your full day, tomorrow. No one of us can contact you tomorrow. So, he said that if we want to celebrate your birthday then we have to do so today only." Xin Yan replied and walked towards her.

Xin Yan wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in his embrace.

"Happy birthday little sister. I am so glad that mother and father have given birth to a cute little sister like you. Your gege loves you."

"And Xin Mei loves her gege." Xin Mei spoke in a babyish voice and chuckled. This was how he had always wished her from the time she could remember. 

One after another, everyone came and started to wish Xin Mei, happy birthday. 

"Everyone had given me wishes, now start giving me my presents. Let me see what different presents you all are giving to me on this birthday." Xin Mei very shamelessly demanded her birthday present which made everyone chuckle.

"Let uncle give you a gift." He Jichen smiled teasingly and walked towards Xin Mei. "Here is your birthday gift."

He placed a wrapped gift in her hand. Xin Mei eagerly unwrapped the gift and groaned the next second when she saw what he had gifted to her.

"Uncle, I have become a big girl. I am no longer the little girl who loved to play with plastic dolls."

She pouted and looked at He Ye who like usual had given her a toy with which she used to play as a five-year-old child. 

"Don't mind him, Xiao Mei, you know your uncle." Missus He spoke and glared at her husband. "Here is your birthday gift from your aunt and uncle."

"Ah, aunty, I knew you would bring something good for me." Xin Mei smiled and eagerly unwrapped the gift. "This is why I love you more than uncle."

"Don't lie little girl. I know you love me more."

"No, I don't." Xin Mei poked out her tongue as if she was a little girl. She teased He Jichen and quickly unwrapped the gift. "Wow, Qipao, it's so beautiful."

Xin Mei unwrapped the Qipao and placed it in front of her body. "It's so beautiful. Mother, father, Chen, isn't this Qipao beautiful?"

"It's really beautiful. It will look good on you."

After He couple, He Ye and Gu Nan rushed towards Xin Mei with their birthday present. They gave a teasing smile to Xin Mei and gave her the gift.

"I know you will like this gift." Gu Nan pa.s.sed her the gift. She chuckled teasingly and winked towards her.

Xin Mei quickly unwrapped the gift to know what this naughty Gu Nan had gifted to her.
