Handsome CEO'S Bewitching Wife Chapter 308 - His Birth Mother.

By the end of the movie, many people had tears in their eyes. Some were feeling bad for Ruyi and some for Chunhua. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of the movie.

Someone stood up from their seats and started to clap. They were followed by other guests who also stood up and started to clap for the movie.

Director Zhang felt proud when he heard the claps. His hard work for more than one year finally paid off. Revenge movie was going to become iconic.

Director Zhang could also feel tears in his eyes when he saw everyone clapping hard for him. He removed his tears from the back of his sleeves and smiled brightly.

"Congratulations, Mister Su, finally your movie is completely ready."

Su Yuchen nodded his head. "And the credit goes to you."

When the main cast and director Zhang walked out of the hall and in the waiting area, many guests started to praise them. Many directors again talked with Xin Mei and one of them was director Chang.

"Xin Mei, your and Chen Bai's performance is spectacular in this movie. I think my decision to cast you as my lead is the best."

"Thank you, director," Xin Mei smiled to him. "I am still waiting for the official contract thou."

"I am also eager to send it to you. I want to sign you under me. But you see, I also am an employee under the producers. I cannot do anything without their permission."

Xin Mei nodded her head. 

"But don't worry, within two or three months I will contact you again, with final script and contract."

"I will count on your director."

Not only director Chang, many other directors, and producers came to talk with Xin Mei and Chen Bai. Many wanted to cast them together after seeing the level of intimacy which they had displayed in the movie.

After sending off every guest, Xin Mei, and everyone else also took their exit. Xin Mei and Su Yuchen left in different cars but on the way, Su Yuchen exchanged the car and took the driving of the car of Xin Mei. Xin Mei also came on the pa.s.senger seat.

"So, how was my role in the movie?" she asked him with a huge smile on her lips.

"As expected, it was well played. You have done full justice to this role. Thank you."

"Why thank you? Don't tell me, you are thanking me because I played the role which is very close to your heart, with perfection."

Su Yuchen smiled at her and did not say a word. He looked in front and focused on his driving. 

"Chen, where are you taking me? This way does not go to our home." Xin Mei asked when she looked out of her window. The road was not taking them to their home.

"I am taking you somewhere."

"But I don't want to go anywhere. I am tired and I want to sleep." Xin Mei yawned and looked at him with tired eyes.

Xin Mei was very tired, first with the promotion of 'The flying women' and now because of 'revenge.' She was tired and wanted some rest and sleep.

Xin Mei had planned, for the whole next one month, she was going to only rest. She would also have her revenge from Zhou Mingyu. She would not partake in the filming of any film for the time being.

"Keep yourself up for fifteen minutes. In fifteen minutes, we will arrive at our destination." Su Yuchen smiled and placed his hand on her cheeks.

Xin Mei again yawned and closed her eyes for some rest.

"We are here."

Xin Mei opened her eyes when she heard Su Yuchen. She rubbed her eyes and straightened herself. Both stepped out of the car.

"Where have you brought me?" 

Xin Mei looked at the isolated house in front of herself with knotted brows.

"This is the place where I have spent the first four years of my childhood." Su Yuchen wrapped his arms around her waist. He placed his head on the crook of her neck. "This is my real home."

A gasp left from the lips of Xin Mei when she heard Su Yuchen. She again looked at the isolated house in front of her. She could deduce that this house was a very small, hardly one-bedroom house. It was like a small box.

Again, many questions ran in her mind and she looked at Su Yuchen for an answer. Was he poor as a child?

"Mei, tomorrow we will spend one year of our togetherness, our first wedding anniversary; and today, I want to show you some glimpse of my past life."

Su Yuchen took a deep breath against her and closed her eyes. It was not easy for him to remember about his dark past and share about it with Xin Mei.

"Mei, you know who is the scriptwriter of Revenge?"

Xin Mei shook her head cluelessly.

"It's me." Eyes of Xin Mei became wide when she heard Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen mocked a smile against her skin. "I wrote it when I was hardly sixteen years old."

"I have written it on the life of my mother. Thou, I have moulded it according to my imaginations and had given it a historical touch. Ruyi in this movie is my mother and emperor Kai is my father."

A gasp again left from the lips of Xin Mei. "Mother was cheated by my father. He kicked her out of his house. Then there," he pointed toward the house. "At that place, my mother took shelter. This is the place where she spent the days of her pregnancy and gave birth to me. She was not lucky to find a man like emperor Jun. Again, it was my imagination."

Voice of Su Yuchen was heavy with pain and Xin Mei could feel wetness on her shoulder. She could also feel a pinch on her heart when she heard him. She did not think he and his mother had suffered so badly.

"She was a great woman, Mei and today I want to introduce you to her."

Su Yuchen left her and walked with her to his old home. He opened the doors and entered inside with Xin Mei. He smiled at her and gripped her hand. 

Xin Mei looked around the house. She still had many questions in her mind and she wanted the answers to them but she knew it was not the right time.

Su Yuchen would tell her everything when he was ready, just like today.
