"You were right, Ning Xiao had already opened her legs for the producer." Xin Mei informed TingTing and then looked at Ning Xiao who had a gloating smile on her lips.

"That's why I don't like such small budget producers. They act as if they are giving a fair chance where the reality is something else." TingTing squeezed her fist hard. "Don't worry Xin Mei, I will talk with the manager. Yang Lin could not s.n.a.t.c.h my resources by making Ning Xiao sleep with other producers. This role belongs to you, not someone else."

"No need to talk with anyone," Xin Mei squeezed on her shoulder. "I will not work in the movie where a producer can be purchased so easily. Besides, don't we have scripts of some more movies? I am sure we will like some other one of them."

Xin Mei again looked at Ning Xiao who was called in for the audition. She was sure that Ning Xiao was going to get this role. So, without wasting any second, she left the studio with TingTing on toes.

"Xin Mei, don't be sad about not getting this role." TingTing placed her hand over her shoulder.

"TingTing, stop trying to console me. I am fine. I did not have many expectations from this role." She plastered a smile on her lips. "Now you should go back. I will meet you in the evening to discuss some other scripts with you."

TingTing sighed and nodded her head before leaving Xin Mei alone. Xin Mei looked up in the sky with sadness in her eyes. She had liked this script and this role. She had prepared herself for this role and bomb!!

Someone s.n.a.t.c.hed this role from her by laying down with producers. This was the thing that Xin Mei hated about the film industry.

"So, how was the audition?" Su Yuchen asked her over the phone.

"I didn't get the role." There was dejection in her voice.

"You are kidding, right? I don't think you didn't get this role. Don't tell me you want a sob party from and that's why you are lying."

"Stop joking. I seriously didn't get the role."

"Why? What happened?" he asked with worry and Xin Mei told him what happened.

"Why had they organized an audition when they had already decided on the actress? They had made fun of me. I was working so hard for this role."

"Mei, don't worry. Let me call the producer of this movie. I will force them to select you as the actress."

"No need." Xin Mei ran her fingers in her hair. "I don't want to work with the stupid director and producer who don't know my value."

Su Yuchen chuckled when he heard her. "So, where are we going for your sobs party?"

"Nowhere, we will watch some Hollywood sad movies to celebrate by lost hope audition."

Su Yuchen chuckled hard when he heard her. He informed her that he would try to return home by seven in the evening and then he ended the call.

Xin Mei had two hours in her hand before she was to meet TingTing to discuss her role. So, she decided to spend some time with He Lin. It had been a month that she had last met her mother. She did not want her mother to complain again.

After spending some time with He Lin, Xin Mei arrived at the company and was about to walk toward the office of TingTing when she b.u.mped into Ning Xiao.

"Don't tell me you have lost your mental stability after losing one role to me." Ning Xiao chuckled and looked at Xin Mei.

Many actresses at heritage collected around them within a second.

From the afternoon, Ning Xiao was boasting that she had s.n.a.t.c.hed the role from Xin Mei. So, the actresses who had become envious of Xin Mei after her success were looking forward to see her getting slandered by Ning Xiao.

Ning Xiao paled when she heard Xin Mei and this was the effect that Xin Mei wanted to see on her face.

"How dare of you to talk about such rubbish about me?" Ning Xiao raised her voice.

"Rubbish?" Xin Mei tilted her head.

"Yes, rubbish. Don't you have any idea of who my boyfriend is? So how can you say I have spread my legs for some other man? I am pure and I only belong to my Su Yuchen."

Xin Mei chuckled when she heard her. Some people could not get straightened. Su Yuchen had personally announced that he had nothing to do with Ning Xiao but still she and many artists believed that Su Yuchen and Ning Xiao were in a relations.h.i.+p.

"Oh my, you are still stuck with that one dialogue." Xin Mei chuckled at the face of Ning Xiao. She held her stomach while laughing.

"Ning Xiao, you can fool others but not me. I have seen with my eyes, how you tried to be after mister Su during award show but he had pushed you aside, and not to forget the birthday party of Zhou Mingyu, many watched him arguing with you."

Ning Xiao s.h.i.+vered with a anger when she heard Xin Mei. She looked at the other actresses who also started to believe in the words of Xin Mei.

"Everyone, stop being fearful of her. I am sure she doesn't have any power to make mister Su take any decision against you."
