"Geez, she is his wife!" Liu Wei whispered in the ears of w.a.n.g Yong.

"She is. Look at how he is looking at Li Jie with murderous gaze."

"RIP dear friend."

Su Yuchen glared at Li Jie who dared to hug his Xin Mei. He walked toward him and separated him from Xin Mei by pulling him from his collar.

"How dare of you to hug my wife?" he gritted his teeth and looked at Li Jie with cold eyes. Li Jie started to sweat when he looked at Su Yuchen.

Li Jie had seen all the three movies of Xin Mei and he started to fancy her. So, today when he saw Xin Mei, he could not control himself from not hugging this diva.

"Su Yuchen, forgive me, my friend. I am only a fan of hers." Li Jie wanted to cry when he looked at the red eyes of Su Yuchen.

"Li Jie, you are one of my good friends and you have visited Xin Mei for the first time, that's why I am leaving you." Su Yuchen shrugged Li Jie and pushed him back.

"I am warning you, I am very possessive toward my Mei." Su Yuchen walked toward her and protectively wrapped his arm around Xin Mei.

She smiled and blushed when looking at his friends.

'There was no need for him to show his possessiveness in front of his friends.'

"Can I ask something?" w.a.n.g Yong raised his hand like a school kid. On getting permission from Su Yuchen, he spoke, "Miss Xin, are you married to Su Yuchen?"

"Yes, I am, from more than one year now."

"But then why does no one know

 about it?"

This time Su Yuchen replied. "We want privacy. We do not want others to gossip about our relations.h.i.+p. And if you still cannot believe that I am married, then you can see our couple photos."

Su Yuchen pointed toward the wall which had their photos. His friends rushed toward the wall and saw the photos of Su Yuchen and Xin Mei.

They smiled with delight when seeing Su Yuchen smiling in the photos.

Finally, their friend was literally over Mian and had moved on with Xin Mei!

They all came down and started to chat with Xin Mei. From her mouth, they wanted to know how Su Yuchen treated her. In case, Su Yuchen was only acting to love her.

They smiled in satisfaction when they heard her. They also glanced at Su Yuchen from time to time and he was looking at Xin Mei with love stuck eyes.

"Su, do you still do the hacking thing?" his friend asked out of curiosity.

"He knows hacking?" Xin Mei asked with excitement.

"Yes, he does." Liu Wei spoke and smirked when he looked at Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen glared, daring him to speak another word. "I still remember, during school days…. he…" his voice came out m.u.f.fled because Su Yuchen had covered his mouth.

"Mei, ignore him. He loves to lie and tease me with some fake stories."

"I will not lie." Liu Wei removed the hand of Su Yuchen from his mouth. "During school days, he had hacked in the computer of every professor and had planted virus in them."

Xin Mei's eyes widened when she heard Liu Wei. "But I thought you were a good boy during school days. You have done something like this?"

"It was a dare." Su Yuchen glared at Liu Wei and slapped his head. "He had challenged me and being egoistic, I had hacked the computers and had put virus in them."

Xin Mei looked at Su Yuchen and then at his friends. "Tell me some more incidents like this. I want to know how he was during university and school days."

Liu Wei grinned when he heard Xin Mei where Su Yuchen slapped his head. He had done many crazy things in the company of his friends. He was sure today his good boy image in eyes of Xin Mei was gone.

"You know sister in law, during the high school day, he had made a well-named company, Jiang corps bankrupt with his stock manipulation skills." Su Yuchen stiffened when he heard his friend. Su Yuchen glared at Liu Wei. 

Xin Mei furrowed her brows when she listened to the words of Liu Wei and the name Jiang corporation. Wasn't this the family behind the accident of Su Yuchen? She looked at Liu Wei with curiosity to know more.

Liu Wei also realized his mistake and quickly changed the topic. "Sister in law, do you want to see his photo with makeup applied on his face?"

Xin Mei forgot all about the Jiang family once Liu Wei started to show the old funny photos of Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen also sighed in relief.

Xin Mei had a lot of fun, spending her time in the company of his friends. She felt glad that Su Yuchen had friends like them, especially Liu Wei who was fun going and had forced Su Yuchen to have some fun during university days.

"Please visit again some other day. I will cook a lavish dinner for all of you."

"Dinner, Xin Mei, do you know how to cook? I mean I have heard celebrities don't know how to cook."

"I am a great cook."

"Really?" eyes of Li Jie became wide with excitement and he rushed toward Xin Mei. "Xin Mei, I have not told you but I am a great cook. I have travelled around the world and have learned many dishes. If you want, someday we can together cook some delicious recipes."

Li Jie was excited at the prospect of cooking with Xin Mei. He was happily chatting away with Xin Mei when he felt something cold on his back.

Realization dawned upon him and before Su Yuchen could say anything to him, he took his adieu and hurriedly left their house.

"I liked your friends." Xin Mei chuckled and Su Yuchen raised his brows when looking at her.

"What? Do not look at me like this. I like that they are so good to you. I can see they had always tried to keep you sane."

"Yes, they did." Su Yuchen wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "So, tell me, how was your night with Gu Nan and your other cla.s.smates?"

Xin Mei groaned and told Su Yuchen about how Gu Nan had cheated her by inviting all her cla.s.smates at the get together.

After three days, Xin Mei was invited to the engagement party of Lu Soujins's daughter. Lu Soujin was head in charge of heritage so Xin Mei needed to attend the party.

Indirectly, Lu Soujin was the boss on her and he could kick her out of the heritage, in case, she ignored his invitation due to any reason.

"Do you want to go?" Su Yuchen asked with a small pout and wrapped his arm around her.

"Yes, TingTing also said it's compulsory for me to show my face."

Su Yuchen sighed when he heard her. "Guess what, I was planning to tie you on the bed tonight, but now I have to attend this party because of you."

Xin Mei chuckled when she heard him. "But you know, you do not need to attend this party. He cannot kick you out until I am his boss."

"And you know I don't want to get benefits because I know you." Xin Mei pushed him back. Now let me get ready. You should also get ready."

Su Yuchen sighed and got ready. Xin Mei also got ready. She was completely unaware of the troubles which were waiting for her at the engagement party.
