"Su Yuchen, I can see that your grandma wants to see you married before her last breath." Su Lingtian spoke and looked at Su Yuchen with sad eyes. "She is holding onto her life only for you. Please let her free. Get married to the girl of her choice."

"Grandpa...…" Su Yuchen tried to protest but Su Lingtian cut him off.

"I know you love Mian. But do you really love her? Even after a separation of so long, do you love her? Didn't any girl ever fancy you? Didn't you ever think of having a happy life which can be without Mian?"

"Grandpa, truthfully I am confused." Su Yuchen sighed. He motioned his grandfather to sit on a bench. He then placed his head on the lap of his grandfather and looked up in the sky.

"Truthfully, sometimes, I feel like I am debited to Mian. I feel as if I am cheating on her whenever I think of another girl. Something in me isn't ready to let her go. You know, in city B I found a girl. I fancied her so much. My psychiatrist declared that I am in love with her but my heart isn't ready to accept this reality."

Su Yuchen was emptying his heart to his grandfather. His grandfather always gave him a piece of great advice and today he needed his advice.

"I am having dreams of this girl. I am not myself when I am with this girl. I have stopped thinking a lot about Mian after getting to know her but still…I don't know what my heart wants, Mian or that girl!"

Su Yuchen yelled in frustration and looked at old eyes of his grandfather.

"You love her Su Yuchen. Your eyes held so much love when you talk about this girl. I can see the same love which I used to see for Mian, a long time ago. But now that love was missing and after so long I have seen that love for another girl. You love this other girl."

Su Lingtian ran his fingers in the hairs of Su Yuchen. He placed his fingers on his lips and stopped him from saying anything.

"Let me tell you a story, you have always heard how your grandma ran to marry me. But do you know the reason her family hated me?"

Su Yuchen silently nodded his head negatively.

"I had also done a mistake like you. I wasn't ready to accept my love for your grandmother. Like you, I also had a childhood friend. We both loved each other dearly. After her high schools, she flew away to America with a promise to return after three years."

"Those days, we didn't have any communication like you. I didn't know how she was doing, I only hold onto the promise for her return."

"Like me, I am waiting for my Mian." Su Yuchen smiled.

"The day she returned I went to the airport to receive her and the moment I saw her I didn't feel the happiness I was expecting to feel. I didn't feel any emotion for her and that was when I realized I no longer loved her. I loved your grandmother."

"I was so late to realize my love for Bai Yue. Next day was her wedding. But still, I dared to send her a letter about my feelings and rest you know…."

Su Yuchen looked at his grandpa, understanding what he wanted to say.

"I don't want you to do the same mistake. Life has given you a second chance in love, don't let it go. You love that girl. Let Mian go. If you don't, then after a few years you will regret today. Today you have a chance to have a happy life with your love, a chance to send off your grandma happily."

"Think about your heart Chen'er." Su Lingtian patted on his back. "About your grandmother, she will not care about her friend's granddaughter if you place your love in front of her eyes."

Su Yuchen nodded to his grandfather. Somewhere, he also felt afraid upon hearing him. What if he was really in love with Xin Mei? What if he had fallen out of the love from Mian?

Bai Yue was telling both Xin Mei and Su Yuchen about her happy married life where Su Yuchen was thanking his grandma in his heart. Now he wouldn't need to plan a way to persuade Xin Mei to be his girl. She would directly become his wife!

"Now both of you exchange your numbers. I want to hear good news from you." Bai Yue ordered and looked at Xin Mei and Su Yuchen. She couldn't help herself from commenting, "You both look so perfect together, like a compatible couple, a couple made in heaven."

Su Yuchen smiled upon hearing the compliment from his grandma where Xin Mei turned her face on another side, not able to look at Su Yuchen or Bai Yue.

"Grandma, we don't need to exchange our numbers. I already have her number. We know each other from long. You don't know but she is the one playing the role of Ruyi in my movie."

"Really?" Bai Yue smiled and looked at Xin Mei. "Why didn't you tell me about this? You don't know how close this movie is to the heart of my Chen. I am so happy that you are playing the role of Ruyi."

Then the direction of their conversation turned toward the role of Ruyi and performance of Xin Mei. In between the chatting, Xin Mei didn't know when but Bai Yue made her agree to call her grandma.

It was getting late at night so Xin Mei decided to return home.

"Chen, why are you sitting here like a dummy? Go and see her off to her car." Bai Yue pushed Su Yuchen out of her room. Su Yuchen sighed and looked at his cupid grandmother.

He then stepped out of the room and looked at Xin Mei. A smile left his lips when he thought she was his future bride!

This girl was going to become his wife!

This girl was going to fill the emptiness in his heart!
