Feeling slightly jealous for this stupid reason, Jasmine got off the limousine and followed Bin, making sure she doesn't trip on the dirty and unsteady stairs leading to the upper floor.

Just as she walked at the far end of the narrow corridor, she held someone loudly cursing followed by a banging sound. Confused and a bit startled, she entered the 'apartment' only to see a furious Bin who punched a hole through the wall, he didn't even seem to notice her presence.
She quietly watched him, curious about what made him so angry, after all, she tried many times to infuriate him only to miserably fail. Unfortunately, she only saw him squat down and ma.s.sage his temples, seemingly contemplating something.
She glanced around the room but found nothing, it was literally empty. No furniture whatsoever so, she guessed that they must've been robbed.
After all, it was expected speculation as the room was empty, moreover, it's the first time she sees it so she didn't know that only a cus.h.i.+on and a blanket were stolen.
"What's wrong?"
Hearing her voice, Bin turned toward her and cracked a smile while replying
"No, it's nothing. Let us go."
He stood up and was prepared to leave only for her to grab his wrist while glaring at him.
"I asked you what's wrong, don't try to brush off my question."
Bin angrily shoved her hand away and retorted:
"I didn't come crying to you so mind your own business."
He was neither looking for pity nor help so there is no need for her to know everything that happens in his life. He should have been careful but he never expected to be robbed as it never happened before.
Many of the people living here knew about his situation so who in their right mind would go rob someone porer than themselves? The intriguing thing is how they found the hidden money. It would take a considerable amount of time to find it albeit the small size of the apartment.
True, he couldn't control his emotions but that's how every person would react if this happens to him. He spent months if not years to acc.u.mulate that much money and, just like that, it was gone.
The servant ignored the master and descended the stairs, not even bothering to try and close the broken door. Even if people entered, there was nothing to steal so such action is pointless.
He thought of changing into another apartment, preferably out of this neighborhood, however, their prices are astronomical. Many of them have rent that's higher than his monthly pay.
A few minutes later, all four were inside the large limousine but a heavy atmosphere flowed between Bin and Jasmine. Rika noticed this but chose to stay silent and play with the cheerful Mina.
As the car engine started, Jasmine retrieved a bag and handed it to Bin, who was sitting opposite of her. Though absent-minded, he still took it but didn't open it, his mind focused on something else.
"What are you dazing for? Open it."
Her snappy voice entered his ears, causing him to slowly take out the content of the bag. Bin showed no reaction but Mina squeaked in joy, her pair of eyes were glued on the box.
It was a limited edition smartphone, one of the most recent ones and a very expensive model. Obviously, neither Mina nor Bin ever had something like but it's not like they never saw it.
Almost all the children in the kindergarten had similar smartphones and they would always play games whenever there's a break. Mina slightly envied but didn't dare ask her brother for such an expensive thing.
"It's very inconvenient to search for you whenever you're needed. With that, we'll be able to communicate easily."
He robotically nodded his head but paid no heed to the box in his hand, his mind still drifting amidst the countless dangerous thoughts. Jasmine softly kicked his feet then said
"Why don't you learn how to use it?"
With a proud expression as if she did something amazing, Jasmine eagerly watched Bin as he took out the smooth looking phone and opened it. He was no expert in the technology field so it wasn't that easy to figure out how to operate it.
He opened the contact tab only to find 'Amazing Master' registered. Jasmine smiled and said:
"I've already registered my phone number there. Make sure to pick up whenever I call you."
Honestly, for now, Bin wasn't in the mood to mess with the phone and discover what it can do so he just handed it to the excited Mina. Rika, who was sited next to the little girl, taught her the basics and even helped her download a few games.
As for Jasmine, who went through the trouble to register her name and buy the phone, could only sit there and jealously watch as Mina and Rika happily chatted together while giggling every now and then.
