The strict-looking black-haired teacher voiced her thoughts as she spoke with Scarlett, who didn't seem to be having fun in this party, her mind preoccupied with something.
"I can't believe either… it's just that I don't have any particular to do so…"

The teacher crossed arms, smirked while winking at Scarlett and saying
"I know you, Scarlett, you don't do anything without a goal in mind. Come on, tell big sister, what are you after?"
She glanced at the students while whispering into the doctor's ears
"Did one of them catch your eye?"
The teacher hummed while adding: "Come to think of it… you're getting old so it's not surprising to look for a partner."
In response, the doctor (Scarlett) harrumphed and retorted
"Why don't you find a partner for yourself before saying that to me? You're much older than m-"
Before she could finish, she felt pain from her abdomen only to find her friend pinching her while giving her a cold glare coupled with an 'innocent' smile.
"What.did.you.say?"
"N-nothing."
Scarlett distanced herself from the teacher and quickly thought of an excuse to get away. As for the person in question, she let out a sigh as she saw the back of the doctor then s.h.i.+fted her attention to the present students. Scarlett's words were indeed true, this teacher, named Julia Mills, was still single despite her age and exceptional looks.
It's not that she never looked for a partner but her standards are high and her att.i.tude made her hard to approach which only made things worse.
Anyway, she activated her unique ability and scanned the students but nothing was too eye-catching. They were the same batch from last year and most of them were more or less alright, or so Julia thought.
Amongst the people she knew, only a handful are brilliant magicians and due to their young age, most of the students were interested in things other than studying magic.
Julia was about to deactivate her ability only to notice a blinding blue light coming from one of the guests. It was strangely pulsating and even caused her to have gooseb.u.mps. She gazed at the origin of the light only to see a normal-looking youth standing at the corner, his expression showing how bored he was.
She curiously inspected him from head to toe but he seemed average in every sense of the world, however, whatever was inside of him made her speechless, to say the least.
Just as she was about to approach him, a commotion occurred.

Bin was chilling in the corner, wis.h.i.+ng this boring party to end soon so he can go back and play with Mina. Everything was going smoothly, Jasmine was having fun with Joseph, while Melissa was busying herself with miscellaneous matters.
Things went downhill when that annoying friend of Jasmine walked up to Bin, clearly with the intention to cause trouble. He tried looking away to ignore her but the brat literally stopped in front of his face, her hand on her hip and the other holding an empty gla.s.s.
Cara just noticed Bin's presence so she decided to cause him so trouble and embarra.s.s him. From her point of view, a lowly and disrespectful servant like Bin doesn't deserve to be in such a high-cla.s.s party.
She raised her empty gla.s.s and spoke with a taunting voice
"Go fill this for me."
The youth stared at her than at the empty gla.s.s before proceeding to ignore her. This led to Cara raising her voice while repeating
"I told you to fill this for me! Are you deaf?"
It was only then that Bin decided to properly take care of this spoiled-girl. He glared at her and asked back
"Are you dumb? Or perhaps disabled?"
Unfortunately, when she raised her voice, she already gathered some attention from the nearby students. Plus, when he talked to her like that, not only did it make her angry, it also embarra.s.sed her. It's kind of ironic as she was the one who ended up being embarra.s.sed.
"What did y-"
Bin cut her off mid-sentence, pointed at a nearby table and said:
"Your hands and feet and functioning properly, go fill it yourself and stop bothering me."
Though he promised Jasmine he'll behave, it surely doesn't mean he'll be the errand boy for this brat. He was Jasmine's servant and he'll only follow her orders. If she treated him with respect, he'll also reciprocate but Cara clearly had hostile intentions and Bin was certainly not a pushover.
Before she could snap at him again, Bin leaned close to her and whispered:
"Don't force me to repeat last time's actions. I bear no grudge toward you so let it continue this way."
His simple threat was enough to force her to swallow her anger though only momentarily as a few youths walked up to her merely a few seconds later. Seeing them coming to lend her a hand, Cara's lost confidence quickly came back and her fear of Bin's reckless actions seemed to have vanished.
As for Bin, he just glanced at the incoming youths and let out a sigh.
'Come on… there's no end to these arrogant idiots.'
