The four girls entered the cla.s.sroom and sat next to each other, happily chatting amongst each other.
"Is everything okay, Rika?"
Melissa worriedly asked the short-haired girl. Ever since she ran away from home, Jasmine and co became overly worried about their childhood friend, who always keep things to herself and refuses to open up.
Rika cheerfully nodded her head, smiled and replied
"En! I'm much better."
As she saw how happy her friend is, Jasmine was relieved. She hugged Rika's arm and started rambling about her date with Joseph while the other three leaned closer, silently listening to their excited friend.
Very soon, all the students arrived and the s.p.a.cious and luxurious cla.s.sroom became filled with people. There were several groups, however, there are a few exceptions… people that preferred to sit alone and not interact with others.
Though Jasmine and her friends were considered the beauties of their cla.s.s, they rarely caused trouble or bullied others. They were friendly to mostly everyone except for two equally gorgeous girls who hated their guts. These two girls were the archenemies of Jasmine, Melissa, and the rest, they always caused trouble and, in more than one occasion, tried to incriminate one of the four, mainly Rika as she's the quiet and pa.s.sive type.
One was called Jessica Bulbert and the other Maxine Ratpol, they both hailed from European aristocratic families so they had no shortage of money or servants, however, unlike Jasmine, they didn't bring their servants to the academy. In fact, none brought their servants to the academy, only Jasmine had this eccentricity.
Very soon, when the teacher entered, the cla.s.sroom quietened down and all pairs of eyes focused on the scholarly middle-aged man who was holding a bunch of books as he made his way to the center of the room.
He seemed to be in his thirties, wore a special teacher's uniform that belonged to the academy and was quite a strict individual feared by many students. Jessica and Maxine, who usually cause mischief, don't dare to even breathe loudly in their presence.
As Jasmine and co just became second-year students, some of their old teachers were switched to new ones, an example of this was this male teacher. He was called Elliot Chamberlain, a former military scientist.
Two years ago, a pampered youngster who was skilled in Magic didn't like Elliot's teaching and even provoked the teacher. The young student had a strong backing but that help in the slightest as he was thrashed by Elliot and expelled from the academy. The student's family didn't even dare demand an explanation, in fact, its head personally came to apologize to Elliot for his son's disrespectful att.i.tude.
As silence dominated the atmosphere, the teacher lightly coughed then started speaking:
"Greetings, everyone. I am Elliot Chamberlain and I'll be your teacher for theoretical and practical Magic."
After a brief and short introduction, he glanced at the tense students and chuckled.

Having particularly nothing to do, Bin strolled in the academy hallways then went outside, sitting a bench in a very remote area, inside a small forest, actually. The forest wasn't dangerous and it was located behind the large academy, it was usually empty and a perfect place for the servant, who wanted some quietness to relax and perhaps take a nap.
At first, everything was peaceful and his rest was uninterrupted, however, it all went down the hill when he started hearing loud shouting. No, it wasn't someone calling for help but an infuriated woman shouting at her phone.
She wandering randomly in the forest, her attention focused on her phone, she didn't even notice the nearby Bin, who was looking at her with a strange expression, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
'Why is it that I always UNWILLINGLY see things like this?'
He recognized the red-haired woman, she was the honorable guest invited by the academy's princ.i.p.al. She was present in last night's banquet and her status was definitely low. She was a renewed doctor and a famous healer, Scarlett Caulfort.
While gritting his teeth, Bin pretended not to see her, closed his eyes and leaned on the surprisingly comfortable bench. Unfortunately, this day, which began in a rather pleasant way, was bound to turn into a h.e.l.lish and troublesome one, or so thought Bin when he continued to hear her approaching loud voice.
"I sent you his d.a.m.n picture! What do you mean you can't find him?"
Her berating voice rang in his ears, causing him to let out an inaudible groan. The red-haired doctor unconsciously sat on the bench, still not noticing the presence of the young man, and continued shouting

"Find him! I want to know his name and address! You have tw-"
She just happened to glance to her right only to see someone leaning on the bench, seemingly taking a nap. His slightly twitching eyes indicated that he's definitely awake, nevertheless, she pretended as though she didn't see him, controlled her high-pitched tone and spoke to the person on the other end.
"You have three days."
She angrily hung up and let out a sigh while ma.s.saging her temples. After a few seconds pa.s.sed, she got up, faced Bin and said
"It's already the first day of the semester yet you're ditching cla.s.s?"
With one hand on his forehead, blocking a few sun rays that pa.s.sed through the thick trees, the youngster lazily replied.
"I'm not a student so it's not considered ditching."
The woman frowned, displeased with his tone but didn't cause a ruckus.
"If you're not a student then you're not allowed to be here."
As if he had enough, Bin removed his hand, sat up and turned to look at this beautiful red-haired woman, his expression showing how annoyed he was.
"I'm a servant of a student here. If you've got any problem with me, go talk to my master."
