As Rick stepped into the cla.s.sroom he let out a yawn. "Oh, good morning, Rick!" Tammy waved. "Yo." Rick smiled as he waved. Due to their meeting, Rick was a bit weary working with Tammy. However, she seemed more than capable, and proved to love the kids, and her job overall. "The buses should be coming soon!" Rick nodded, sitting at his desk. "Tammy," Rick began. Tammy looked up from her phone, c.o.c.king her head. "Did you do something different with your hair?" Tammy blushed. "Uh, no..." she laughed nervously. "I just didn't have time to straighten it this morning." Rick nodded. "It's usually really wavy, I hate it." She smiled, looking down. "Why?" Rick questioned. "Huh? Why what?" Tammy looked up. "Why do you hate your natural hair?" Tammy began twirling her hair. "Well, I guess because I was teased a lot for it being messy." Rick stood up. "Is it hard to straighten it every mornin'?" Tammy looked down. "Y-yea..." Rick walked over, and sat on top of a desk. "I like it." He smiled, placing a hand on Tammy's shoulder. Tammy looked up, with tears in her eyes. "R-really...?" She smiled, trying to hold back her tears." Rick nodded. "I think natural wavy suits you really nicely!" He said, flas.h.i.+ng a big smile. "R-Rick..." Tammy sniffled. "Ah c.r.a.p," Rick said, quickly lifting his head. "Eh?" Tammy looked, confused, then the bells rang. "Oh!" Tammy nodded, wiping her eyes quickly. "Good talk!" She laughed. Rick turned around. "Mm, good talk!" He smiled, as he walked back to his desk.

"Good morning, Rick!" Tammy greeted, as she stepped into the room. "Good morning T" Rick quickly lifted his head from looking at papers. "Oh!" He cried.

Tammy had cut her hair from back length, to neck length, with a wave.

Tammy twirled. "Ya like it?" She beamed. "Who cares what I think, do you like it?" Tammy turned around. "Mm! It's much more manageable this short, and I think the wave is a nice touch!" She giggled. Rick gave a nod and smiled. Then came a knock at the door. "Mr. Summers," a voice called out. "Ms. Hoffman!" Rick cried out. "Oh! Good morning Annette!" Tammy waved. "I have your copies h-" she paused. "Oh your hair!" She pointed. "Tammy, I love it!" She cried. "Thank you so much!" Tammy laughed. "I wouldn't have recognized you, weren't for your voice!" Ms. Hoffman laughed. "Anyways, I have to go back to cla.s.s." She gently plopped the papers down on Ricks desk." Rick looked up. "Thanks!" He nodded. "You got it!" She winked. Rick nearly fell out of his chair. "See ya Tammy, Mr. Summers." She said, waving. Tammy walked to the back of the room glowing. "She's so pretty, and nice..." Rick whispered.
