Just when Mrs Han was about to give a tight slap on her face, she heard Feng mians frosty cold words

Only then did Li chao and Mr Han got back to their sense. Pulling his daughter behind, Li chao stood like a barrier, protecting his daughter like a mother hen. While Feng mian was emitting cold vibe, Mrs. Han was no less cold. She was almost at her peak and in no time, she would burst out like a volcano.

While Han yifeng had a remorseful expression on his face, Suzy had a weird expression. she was amused looking at her grandparents. while there was a cold war going on between two families not far away from them , both Elder Mr Li and Mrs Li ignored them and pulled Suzy towards the sofa and made her sit down before settling themselves on her either side , examining her body to check if she had even a tiny injury . seeing the worried expression her grandparents face, Suzy could not help but chuckle sweetly.

Hearing that melodious chuckle, which was very pleasing to one's ears, the people who were having cold war turned around and followed their gaze towards the source of sound. Everyone's face darkened when they saw Suzy being sandwiched between two elders who looked at her worriedly.

Hearing their little zy chuckling, both the elders looked at her in confusion which made Suzy chuckle even more. giving a peck to both the elders on their cheeks, she a.s.sured "Nana, Nany, I'm fine. the coffee mug just slipped from my hand and shattered into pieces, so I'm not injured anywhere and I completely fine. Watching the elders love towards Suzy, Li xiying gritted her teeth in rage and clenched her fist tightly.

"father, mother, what are you doing there?" Li chao asked darkly when he saw his elder daughter getting his parents attention than his youngest daughter who deserved it.

"what? I'm just checking on my pretty granddaughter if she was injured or not. Why? Do you have any problem with that?" elder scoffed.

"yes, I do have problem with her. the one who needs your attention and sympathy is xiying, not that girl" Li chao said arrogantly,

"father, you can look at her later but now, please say something. see how badly my daughter is crying. this b.a.s.t.a.r.d dared to hit my daughters' cheeks, do something" Li chao roared

Seeing her grandfather's childish act, Suzy almost burst out.

Seeing that his own father bullied his sweet daughter, Li chao got furious and stepped forward to protect his own daughter as he roared "father, what do you see in this useless girl. Why do you always support her but not xiying? What's so special about her?"

Without even thinking, elder Li commented as a matter of fact "hmm…she's my granddaughter, so."

"but father, xiying is also your granddaughter" Li chao retorted back.

After Suzy said that, Li chao looked at her mockingly, thinking that his father would scold her harshly and will support him but, the reality was different.

Instead of scolding Suzy, elder Li whined "why did you cease only one property? you should have ceased all the properties under his name. that brat is little too arrogant. he even dared to spoke informally with me …. with his father, humph…"

Li chao almost wanted to get a divorce with his parents after hearing what they said. he really doubted whether he was their child or not.
