It's Payback Time : Dont Mess With Me Chapter 142 - Someone Has Dug This Place!!!

" chief , we found something...in the backyard" the officer whispered .

Nodding his head , chief officer Xu gestured his subordinate to show the path. As soon as chief officer Xu left , elder Mr Li and Mrs Li also followed behind him along with Suzy. Li chao and Feng mian were left with no choice , and had to follow the elders quietly. When everyone were gone , only Li xiying was left in the living room. Least bothered about the current situation , Li xiying shrugged her shoulders and went to pick her suitcase to leave the Li household but was stopped by one of the female officer.

With her right arm stretched , the female officer blocked Li xiying and said expressionlessly" miss , you cannot go anywhere"

"move" Li xiying said coldly

"sorry miss….until and unless we are done with our duty , no one is supposed to leave the house. So Please cooperate" The female officer tried to reason with Li xiying ignoring her arrogant behaviour. But to no avail….Li xiying remained as arrogant as ever.

Folding her hands front of her chest , she looked at the female officer coldly and said "you…who do you think you are to order me around. Do you know who I am…Li xiying…..the only daughter of Li chao"

"Miss , whoever you are… it doesn't matter to us…we are just doing our duty so please cooperate with us"

"hah…..cooperate…who the h.e.l.l do you think you are? You s.l.u.t! You wh.o.r.e! Get out of my way you low cla.s.s b.i.t.c.h!" Li xiying roared.

Finally reaching her limits, the female officer could no longer hold her temper when she was called by such disgusting words. Furious , she twisted Li xiying arm and pressed her to the table roughly . To teach her a lesson , the female officer exerted even more force and pressed her harder to the table for a long time before releasing her. Taking a handcuff from her pocket , she tied her to the table and made her sit on the cold floor. Furious , Li xiying started to yell loudly but before she could say further , she heard the female officers cold voice" scream all you want. Do you think I'm afraid of a n.o.body like you and…you are just an illegitimate child of a n.o.body like Mr Li chao , you are not the real daughter. Even if you are his daughter you are not Elder Li's granddaughter.The real granddaughter and the true heiress is miss Suzy and…you know what…..she deserves our respect" with that said, the female officer turned around and started to walk away , but she suddenly stopped on her tracks when she saw a suitcase from the corner of her eyes. Turning around , she walked towards the suitcase.

Seeing that the female officer was walking towards her, Li xiying s.h.i.+vered and tried to hide instinctively. When there was no place for her to hide , with her shaky voice she asked "you..you…what do you need now"

Ignoring Li xiying's words , the officer moved forward and picked up the suitcase and placed it on the table. Since the suitcase was locked , she could only ask Li xiying coldly "whats the pa.s.sword?"

"huh?….what pa.s.sword…why should I tell you the pa.s.sword…who the hel--"

Before Li xiying could speak further , the female officer took out a pocket knife and placed it in front of her and asked her coldly " pa.s.sword"

Scared out of wits , Li xiying gulped mouthful of saliva and said robotically" 7594266"

'click' once the lock was opened , to Li xiying's horror the female officer poured everything down and rummaged her clothes and jewels. While she was checking through her jewels, she found an oddly looking earring . the female officer felt suspicious when she saw the single piece of earring whereas the other earrings were all in pair and also , this earring felt oddly familiar. Picking the earring, she put it in a small cover and placed it inside her pocket and continued searching through her luggage.

In the backyard …

As soon as they reached, the small police officer pointed at certain place in the backyard and said "we found this earrings there and …something is fishy ov----"

Before the small officer could report completely , Li chao b.u.t.ted in arrogantly" hha…..is this what you call an evidence?….is this why you call yourself as professionals?…..hah, even our maids are far better than you people"

"Chao….mind your tongue" elder Mr Li warned his arrogant son coldly

Ignoring his fathers warning , Li chao continued to speak but before he could speak another word, a soft voice spoke before him " wait!" Suzy said out of blue , her gaze focused on something.

Moving forward , she walked towards the place the police officer pointed out and stopped right before it. Bending down , she moved her hands on the ground and then stood up. Lifting her foot , she tapped it on the ground a few times and suddenly her eyes widened. Turning around , she looked at one of the maid and said hurriedly " get someone to dig this place now"

"yes miss" the maid said and bowed her head before rus.h.i.+ng inside to bring someone as instructed.

Seeing Suzy's odd behaviour , elder Mr Li could not help but ask curiously

"little Zy, what happened? Why do you look a little bit tensed?"

"grandfather , something is suspicious in this place"

"suspicious? What is it"

"you brat , stop spouting nonsense and don't try to show off in font of everyone as if you know everything. Shut your trap and stand quite for a while" Li chao said coldly.

Ignoring Li chaos words , Suzy spoke seriously" grandpa , seems like someone has dug this place not too long ago"

"dug this place? But how can you say that little Zy?"

"grandpa , when you closely look at this ground , you can see the uneven leveling of the soil which is actually quite fishy and second….when you tap your foot lightly on this place, you can hear a different sound ….like the one you hear when you tape your foot on someones grave. The soil may appear hard and normal above , but beneath the top layer, you can feel that the soil is loose and is not rigid. This happens only when you dig the land. "

"hha….what kind of speculation is this? Seems like you were working in some graveyards all these years since you are so confident about your answer" Li chao mocked Suzy.

"sigh….every single person with brain know about such differences unlike someone who is brainless" Suzy replied back sarcastically

"you….who are you calling brainless?" Li chao yelled loudly.

"the one who thinks he is" Suzy smirked.

"you…"

Before Li chao could make any further comments , the small officer nodded his head and said " miss Suzy is right….her a.n.a.lysis perfectly explains about our suspicions . This is what even I have suspected and ...when you look at the length and area of the ground that is dug , you can say that it is exactly same to the one we dig to bury the dead"

Just after the police officer spoke, the maid brought two gardeners and asked them dig the ground. As they continued to dig deeper , they heard a 'ting' sound startling everyone who were present there. When chief officer urged them to dig it faster, the gardeners exerted more force and started to dig deeper and deeper. Soon , when the gardeners cleared the layer of mud, they could see a brown wooden box. Digging the ground further , they were finally able to pull the wooden box up. Once the box was pulled up , they hastily cleared the mud and stones and were finally able to see it properly.

Seeing the huge six feet box , the maid was surprised and unknowingly exclaimed loudly "this…this box…how did it come here?"
