I Deserve A Second Chance Chapter 46 - Fake Melon

Qi Ling looked back at the woman and glared at her.

d.a.m.n it! What was this woman's name again? Huifang? Meifang? Lifang..?

"Hey Melon!"Qi Ling roared.

"I see that your silicon breast are getting bigger now" Qi Ling raised her voice even louder. Qi Ling wouldn't bother to try to remember her name anymore. She's as round as melon. This nickname suited her!

"You changed another new husband? Does this one know about your fake nose too?" Qi Ling stood slightly in front of Shao Yan to covered her

Li Xiqing was walking with Martin. Their steps stopped when they saw Qi Ling was very aggressive with this woman and also saw her protective stance to Shao Yan. Li Xiqing frowned and quickly walked over.

Shao Yan saw Li Xiqing, and her heart lurched.

Shao Yan tried to calm Qi Ling down, she didn't want any argument anymore, especially not in front of Li Xiqing. Shao Yan pulled the hem of Qi Ling's s.h.i.+rt.

"Qi Ling, it's fine. No need to say so much. If you're done, let's us leave now?"

Li Xiqing now stood next to her. He put his arm protectively on her waist. "Are you okay?"

Shao Yan smiled embarra.s.singly at him, "Are you done? Shall we go now?"

Qi Ling saw that now Li Xiqing was around, she decided to let this fake melon go. They started to leave.

Fake melon suddenly screamed, "b.i.t.c.h!! You came to my turf and insulted me! Who do you think allowed you to leave!"

Fake melon didn't care about people looking at her anymore. She was fuming with anger.

Qi Ling turned around and looked at her, "Yes Yes Yes! it's your turf. I return it to you. I will go now." Qi Ling put both hands up as if gesturing surrendered to her.

Shao Yan tried hard not to laugh, she had to bit her lips to stifle her giggle.

Fake melon tried hard to calm down her anger. The receptionist was debating if they should call on security.

Not for the guests, but for their own madam. The receptionist was worried if their madam would start attacking people.

They saw it themselves just now. How at first, that woman in white dress had been ignoring Madam Cui. But Madam Cui just kept on insulting her.

And this was not the first time their madam was looking for trouble here.

There was one time, Madam called in police to arrest a model who she claimed was seducing her husband.

He married a plastic woman like Madam Cui. Of course he would be itching to play with other similar women outside.

Madam Cui laughed seductively. She turned to look at Li Xiqing and Martin.

"Handsome. Did you guys even know your girlfriends? They had failed relations.h.i.+ps but went around and insulted others. So shameful!"

She gestured her own body, "All these are natural" and she moved her hips.

"You don't even know how many guys they've dated around. Both of you are just spare tires!" she pointed her manicured fingers at both Li Xiqing and Martin.

Fake Melon seemed calmed down now. She walked over to their side.

"Yes, I married two times before. But so what?" Fake Melon laughed.

"They truly loved me until they pa.s.sed away. You were just jealous of me" Fake Melon now moved like a lazy cat approaching Li Xiqing and Martin.

Shao Yan stiffened up.

Madam Cui trailed her fingers from her cheek to her neck and then down to her cleavage.

She faced Li Xiqing and said, "Handsome, Isn't Shao Yan good in bed?"

Li Xiqing tightened his hold on Shao Yan's waist.

"Her husband left her because he caught her in bed with other man." she snorted, "Tsk.. Tsk.. Divorced woman in foreign country. Who knows how many men she had to sleep with to survive." She gave him a puppy eye.

"She's not pure anymore, are you sure you still want her?" Madam Cui laughed seductively again.

Shao Yan looked horrified at her words. She staggered. Li Xiqing kept his hands at her waist, supporting her.

Li Xiqing had no expression on his face. He slowly turned to Martin, and spoke in English, "Martin, cancel the contract with K corporation. We are not working with them."

Martin was surpised, but he still took out his phone. Li Xiqing continued, "Also, cancel the contract for Qi Ling. AG International will pay the penalty fees for both."

And then he turned to Fake Melon. Li Xiqing spoke slowly.

"Madam Cui, you will be receiving a letter from my lawyer" Li Xiqing paused, "I will see you in court."

"I dare you to call my girlfriend's name again. If you ever so much just to whisper her name, I will not hesitate to raise the charges. Please contact your lawyer. We have a lot of witness here of you slandering my girlfriend."

He paused because he could feel Shao Yan was s.h.i.+vering. He grabbed her closer.

"As for your 'turf' with K corporation, we will not help your husband to secure the deal anymore as I believe we have different principle."

"I wish you good luck with finding another ... lucrative buyer ... that is willing to spend that much money to buy your company."

Li Xiqing didn't wait for fake melon to answer, he swiftly hold Shao Yan's waist and walked out with her. Martin was on the phone to handle the request from Li Xiqing.

When they got out of the building, Martin offered to take Qi Ling home. Qi Ling accepted the offer immediately because she knew Li Xiqing must have wanted to calm Shao Yan down.

Li Xiqing brought Shao Yan back to their car. He was holding her, so he knew Shao Yan was s.h.i.+vering, her breathing was shaking. He opened the door for her and put the seat belt on for her.

Li Xiqing swiftly drive the car away.

On the way, Shao Yan didn't say a single word. Li Xiqing also didn't ask anything. He drove steadily to his house.

On the way, Li Xiqing stopped by convenience store to buy some food for her, before coming back to the car and drove straight home.

When he parked in the parking garage, Shao Yan was still out of it. Li Xiqing patiently held her hands and brought her inside.

After they entered his apartment, Li Xiqing brought Shao Yan to his room, and laid her down. "Just rest here for a while? I will be right back." he tucked her in. Li Xiqing spoked softly, caressed her head and kissed her forehead.

Before he left, Li Xiqing opened the curtain a little to let some sunlight into the room.

Hours pa.s.sed.

Shao Yan tried to calm down. She tried to sleep. But she couldn't.

His bedroom was soundproofed, she couldn't hear anything from the outside. She didn't know what Li Xiqing was doing.

Shao Yan wanted to go out, but she felt her strength had left her. She could only laid down and collected herself.

She was scared.

Li Xiqing must have guessed everything. What if he didn't want her anymore? She's not pure anymore. What if he was disgusted with her?

Shao Yan whole body shook. Her newly found happiness could only lasted this long?

Shao Yan's mind kept thinking about the worst case. She curled up her body to a fetal position and just cried her heart out.
