When they arrived home, Shao Yan took out the candle carving and gave it to Li Xiqing.

Li Xiqing was puzzled when he took it from he hands, and then he opened it. Inside the box, was an intricate carving made from scented candle in shape of a couple.

He lifted his gaze from the box and looked at her face, he tilted his head to the side. Shao Yan just kept smiling, and urged him to take it out.

He opened the box and took out the candles and then he saw clearly how the figurine looked like.

He smirked, "So.. Missus.. In your heart, I actually look like this?" he frowned unhappily.

Li Xiqing poked at the figurine head, "This guy was not handsome, and looked grumpy. The only thing that was right from this was his possessiveness." he grinned and pointed to the figurine hand over the woman's waist.

Shao Yan rolled her eyes, and walked to the bedroom, "Just put it in the living room. They're pretty and smell good"

Li Xiqing smiled at her departing figure. He looked around and picked a spot in the living room. He kept staring at it like a fool, before he looked down to his feet and smiled at himself. He gave a little chuckles and then he walked to the bedroom as well.

Shao Yan was taking a shower when Li Xiqing came in. He saw her stuff was lying around on the writing desk. He paused in his step, and then he walked over.

He saw the paper was crumpled next to her purse, and he unruffled it.

It was a list of camera accessories. And then at the bottom, there was a name of a shop and address scribbled at the end.

And a signed off.

Zhong Yu. Eternity Frame.

Li Xiqing frowned. Why did Shao Yan seem so troubled because of this?

He took out his phone and searched for 'Zhong Yu' and 'Eternity Frame'.

There was no picture of Zhong Yu. But Eternity Frame had been around for almost twenty years. It was an old camera shop , about forty minutes drive from here.

Li Xiqing put the paper back, and opened her camera case. He was surprised to find a broken camera inside. He remembered that Shao Yan told him that she was knocked over.

When he took the camera out, Shao Yan just finished the shower and was walking out in her pajamas.

Li Xiqing turned around, "How did it become like this? Because those kids b.u.mped into you?"

Shao Yan walked over and nodded sadly, "Yes, but I think I don't want to repair it. I will just buy a new one. This one is too old anyway."

She saw the paper was fold neatly on the side, so she knew Li Xiqing must have seen it. She pointed to the paper, "You saw the list, the accessories must be expensive."

Shao Yan turned around and walked to the bed and flipped open the blanket to climb in.

"And after I think about it, the money spent for the accessories may be equal to buying a new one". After she leaned on the headboard, she smiled at him, "Don't you think so?"

Li Xiqing put the camera back inside, and he walked to her side. He kneeled on the floor and took her hands "They're only scratches?"

Shao Yan had took off the bandages from her palms, and he saw the scratches from the fall. He stood up, and walked out of the room. Shao Yan was puzzled. What was he doing? Where did he go?

After a while, he came back with the first aid kit and back to kneeling on the floor by the bedside.

"It may only be scratches, but don't forget to put ointment on them." he reprimanded her gently. Shao Yan looked at him and smiled. She saw his tired face and she saw he was still in his working suit.

But this man always put her as first priority over everything. She felt so touched.

After he was done, he closed the box again and put it to the side. He stood up "Wait for me for a while. Let me take a shower first"

She smiled back and nodded, and then he walked to the bathroom while undressing himself.

Li Xiqing came out a while later, Shao Yan was playing a game on her phone.

Li Xiqing got inside the blanket, and scooped her to lean in his embrace. He hugged her from behind, while she was still playing her game.

"Give me a second, I'm almost done with this stage." she was concentrating and she let him did whatever he wanted to.

Li Xiqing let her leaned on him. He had both of his hands wrapped around her waist and he put his chin on her shoulder, watching her game.

He couldn't resist to kiss her cheek, and then kiss another one.

And then back to put his chin on her shoulder again.

And then he kissed her cheek again. And her character in the game died.

She turned and glared at him "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"

Li Xiqing gave her an innocent look, "What did I do? I didn't do anything" and then he slowly closed in, and kissed the corner of her mouth, while taking her phone away and threw it somewhere.

He closed in deeper, kept their lips linked together, brought her down until she laid on the bed underneath him.

Shao Yan responded to his kisses, she circled her arms around his neck and kissed him back. He tightened his grip on her waist, and was more aggressive in kissing her tonight.

He moved to her chin and lightly bit it. He kissed her jaw and then moved to her earlobe. He was searching for her fragrance. Searching for her warmth. Trying to a.s.sure himself of her presence.

His arms tightened around her, and he buried his head in her neck, and snuggled in her hair. He could not resist to bite her neck a little, and then he trailed his kisses from her neck to her jaw and back to her mouth again.

"Xiqing.." Shao Yan breathed softly against his face, her fingertips traced his lips. He caught her tips with his teeth and lightly bit into it. He licked it a little, and then kissed her lips again.

Li Xiqing slowly let her go and stared at her glistening and swollen pink lips and then he looked up into her eyes, his eyes were dark and raging with desires.

Her hands left his shoulders and moved down to his body, and to his waist. She slipped her hand inside his s.h.i.+rt and touched his scorching skin

and then she pulled him closer to her, "Let's do it?"
