Shao Yan pouted, and lightly hit his back, "Li Xiqing! You tricked me! I was so anxious just now~"

And then she watched his body lightly shook and she heard his laughs.

"Alright, go on now, let me finish this, and we can start eating, alright? We arrived home a little late tonight. I don't want you to starve any longer."

Shao Yan reluctantly agreed, and walked out of the kitchen while still sulking at his pranks.

Today, Shao Yan had left early to go to the printing house to pick up the marketing materials for OnScience introduction meeting. Tomorrow, the long awaited honorable guest, OnScience team, would finally be here.

VP Zhuang had set up a one hour meeting for each department to introduce them to Gold Crane. Her project department slot time was tomorrow morning 9 AM.

Shao Yan was not sure how many people from OnScience would come. VP Zhuang only mentioned that each department had sent out three people as representative to visit Gold Crane.

She did quick calculations in her head. If let's say there were ten departments in OnScience company, that already equaled to thirty people!

Shao Yan scowled. She felt sour in her heart, this was just wasting the company's money!

She arrived early at the printing house and started to supervise the work. When she arrived, the last batch of prints were in the process and Shao Yan approached the printing machine eagerly to watch the whole process.

After she collected and inspected the printed materials, it was already almost lunch time. Shao Yan decided to quickly drive back to the office.

When she reached the parking garage, she took out her phone and called Wenhai to ask him to come down to help her carry the boxes up.

Wenhai was about to answer her request when suddenly Fan jie grabbed hold of his phone, "Just leave them there for now, Xiao Yan. Why don't you wait for us in the lobby, we are going to lunch first

"After lunch, all of us can help you carry the boxes up. Sounds good?"

The group decided to go the mall next door for lunch. Of all good days before today, the G.o.ds decided that today was the perfect day to rain.

It's already September! Was it not only raining in Spring?! Why today!

The group decided on a soup dumpling restaurant today. It was located on the first floor of the mall, and one side of the restaurant was facing the street outside. On a sunny day, people can actually opted to sit outside at the patio to enjoy their meal.

Shao Yan was looking outside the gla.s.s door window; she was admiring how the rain drop on the gla.s.s slowly trickled down and decorated the view in front of her. She didn't bring any umbrella today. None of her team did. All of them looked dejectedly at the pouring rain outside.

Gloomy weather always brought the sadness in people. The grey clouds and pouring rain made the traffic a little quiet today. People outside who was walking under the rain walked really slow as if time just stopped.

They were waiting to settle the bill now, so everyone was so busy chatting, speculating on the big group tomorrow.

"Do you really think they will send 30 people?" Li Na suddenly raised the topic, while drinking her sour plum lemonade drink.

Wenhai, who was pa.s.sing the wet napkins to everyone to wipe their hands, suddenly chimed in, "That's good! More people equals to more good view to see. More good looking ones, please!" and then he gave a lopsided grin to everyone.

Fan jie who was sipping on her c.o.ke also nodded along his comment, "En. Agree. More young'uns for this sister, please."

And everyone just burst out laughing.

After they settled the bill, everyone decided to leave the restaurant. They needed to go back to the office now or they would be late.

Shao Yan and Li Na decided to share an umbrella. There were some souvenirs shops on the first floor, so the group decided to go there so Shao Yan and Li Na could purchase one.

Arrays of pretty umbrella were lining up on the side of the stores. Li Na and Shao Yan saw them right away, and they quickly walked towards them.

Li Na was contemplating on bright colors, she kept giving 'hm' and 'oh' when she saw different kinds of umbrellas; while Shao Yan did not really care about the choices. She just stood next to her, giving comments here and there.

Suddenly, a hand tapped her shoulder. Shao Yan swiftly turned around and saw a familiar face.

Zhong Yu was walking down the escalator with his friends, when he saw Shao Yan and her coworker were choosing an umbrella. He paused on his steps and suddenly remembered that she was supposed to pick up the accessories that he had ordered for her, but she never came to the shop.

He wanted to call her, but he didn't have her number. So he knew that this was his only chance. Just as he lifted his foot, but before he stepped forward, he saw another figure had already rushed towards her and tapped her shoulder.

Shao Yan turned around. First, he saw her blank face. And then her eyes went round and big, she gradually looked surprised and gave a bright smile. She suddenly exclaimed, "Feifei.?!"

Lu Feifei broke out into a huge grin, "It's really you, Xiao Yan!" Feifei abruptly wrapped her arms around Shao Yan and gave her a big hug, "I thought you won't recognize me anymore" she wailed while squeezing Shao Yan with her bear hug.

Feifei let her go and held both of Shao Yan's hands, "I saw you from afar just now, but I'm not sure if it's really you."

Feifei touched Shao Yan's hair tips, "Your hair is much longer now! I have always remembered you with short hair only."

Shao Yan smiled and grabbed Feifei's hands and lightly squeezed them, "Feifei, what are you doing in City S?"

Feifei smiled, and then she slightly turned her body to the side, and pointed to few people behind her, "I was having lunch with them."

Shao Yan looked at the direction she pointed, and she saw two tall men were standing quietly on the side. The men saw both women were looking at them, so they decided to walk towards them.
