"I heard that you gave my grandson a good beating, Ji Ruo." Lu Qian said as he sat on a chair beside Xia Jiamu.

"He needed to be taught." Ji Ruo crossed her arms. She took a glance at Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng. Seeing that they were now in good terms, she nodded at herself. "A man should always treat a woman right."

Meanwhile, Lu Xian Yu went to his mother with Li Bingbing on his side.

"Hey, mom." Lu Xian greeted with a grin.

Jing Yue turned and saw her son, she took a quick glance at Li Bingbing. "Have you finally found yourself a wife?"

"I am just his friend, Madam Lu." Li Bingbing quickly said. Making sure that Lu Xian Yu won't be able to say anything strange to anyone anymore.

"Ah... I thought he has finally found one." Jing Yue sighed in disappointment. She didn't mind the kind of girl Lu Xian Yu would choose since he was a difficult case. As long as he would choose someone, she would accept her.

Lu Xian Yu narrowed his eyes at what Li Bingbing did. He hated it whenever she refer to him as 'friend'.

Li Bingbing quickly pulled her hand away and turned away from Lu Xian Yu, leaving him there. This was the only chance she had to escape his grasp.

Li Bingbing went towards Little Melon. "Hi there, cupcake."

"Sister Bingbing!" Little Melon smiled at her.

"Here's a simple gift from me." Li Bingbing knelt in front of him before she took a small box from her pocket.

Little Melon quickly opened the small box and inside it was a Puss in Boots keychain. Little Melon couldn't help but grin when he saw the adorable keychain. "Mello loves it! Thank you, Sis Bingbing!"

Since Li Bingbing was kneeling in front of him, he gave her a hug.

"I still have one more but your uncle Xian Yu have it so you'll see it later once you get home." She hugged him back.

"Okay! Mello can't wait to see the other gifts!"

She pulled away from the hug and patted his head. "I am a busy woman, I have to go now, okay? I'm so happy that I was able to attend your celebration."

"Sister Bingbing is leaving already?" Little Melon's shoulders slouched down.

"I need to go somewhere else, I'll make it up to you next time, okay?"

"Sister Bingbing should visit Mello at home." Little Melon said while looking up at her.

Li Bingbing grinned at him. "I will." She turned to Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng. "Both of you are doing well as parents."

"Are you sure you want to leave early?" Xia Meilin could see that there was something wrong with Li Bingbing even if she was all smiling... something was bothering her.

"Yes, I want to rest early tonight."

Lu Xian Yu saw Li Bingbing talking with Little Melon so he didn't bother them. He continued to converse with his mother and while he was so distracted by her, he didn't notice Li Bingbing leaving the place.

"Do you like her?"

"Maybe."

"Xian Yu, you really should start thinking of starting a family. Go get a girl and marry her. Look at your brother, he never fails to please me."

Lu Xian Yu stared blankly at her, "Wow mom, there you go again in comparing us."

Jing Yue sighed, "What I am just trying to say is, you're not getting any younger and so am I. I want you to be happy, to have a normal and safe lifestyle."

He crossed his arms, "Normal is boring." He turned to check on Li Bingbing again but this time, he wasn't able to see her around the hall. When he noticed that Xia Sinian was also gone, his heart started pounding like crazy in nervousness.

Meanwhile, Li Bingbing entered a taxi and headed to a bar instead of going home.

Little did she know, a black Maybach car was following her all throughout until she reached the Red Bull Bar. When the driver saw the place from a few meters away, he overtook her taxi.

Li Bingbing was planning to drink her heart out that night but she never expected Xia Sinian to be there. He went and sat on the chair beside her.

"Sisi..."

Xia Sinian took a glance at her. "What are you doing here?"

She furrowed her brows. "What else? I'm going to drink and make myself drunk tonight!"

"Go home. You shouldn't be in a place like this."
