Wallace wasn't as nervous as he was before when they met the Celestial Being waiting for him outside the building. 

First, they were already aware that it was not a problematic one as it doesn't have a darker color of energy.

The second was that there were only two of them facing the Celestial.

It means that he doesn't have to worry about the others that may get injured if this Celestial decided to harm them. He was confident in his escaping capabilities, thanks to his Void Phase. 

He was also aware that his master already met with one before and even held a conversation with them. It only proves that he has some confidence in dealing with the situation so he didn't have to worry about him.

The third point was that the Celestial who confronted them was no longer blocking the presence of mana in the surroundings. They can feel that they can perfectly use the thick and pure mana that was existing outside the tower.

The last one was that they can still use the tower behind them as their escape route in case they really need to hide from this creature.

With all these considerations, they decided to listen to whatever this Celestial Being has to say.

The Celestial Being approached them and started talking within their minds.

"You... How did you sense one of us?"

Wallace was sure that it was asking him but he couldn't immediately understand what this creature was trying to ask.

After thinking for a moment, he remembered what happened during their first meeting.

'Wait, is he referring to the Celestial Being bathing at the lake? I pointed this guy in the lake's direction... Is there a problem with that?' 

He wasn't sure but if this is the root cause of his presence here, then his question now makes sense. It seems that it was interested in the trick he has.

He used his Divine Sense to locate them and it was probably curious about this Soul Art. Speaking of which, are they also aware of such arts? Too bad that they forgot to ask Aeolia about this. They were only aware that this existence was using a different source of power. It wasn't mana and Aeolia called them as Astral Energy... 

They have a stronger and purer version of Wallace's Astral Core. 

Anyway, Wallace answered truthfully. 

"I have a skill that allows me sense anyone's presence. It is related to Soul Arts."

"Soul Arts? What is it called?"

"Divine Sense..."

As soon as he answered, Slaine on his side squinted his eyes as if he remembers something from those words. 

The Celestial, on the other hand, remained silent after he answered. It looks like it was trying to recall if such technique exists in their vocabulary. 

"I want to learn it..." 

These words from him was the real problem as Wallace could only agree due to their situation. Anyway, this was also a good opportunity to convince one of them to join their battle against the invaders once they found a way to bring them in the southern continent.

Yumi and her group just arrived at the extraction point and there were still no signs of the two's presence.

'They're surely late... Did they encounter any troubles inside that tower?'

Elaine frowned as she hadn't thought before about taking a drop of Wallace's blood to ensure that his alive and that he's following their route. 

She only remembered it after a day of their escape as everyone was worried about the two's situation. After all, they are unaware of their situation whether they were still alive or not. 

Unfortunately, it was too late to ask for Wallace's blood and they can only move forward. 

The forest was also unusually quiet and it honestly made them more nervous at the situation. 

There were only rustling leaves that can be heard. It was devoid of sounds coming from other insects or animals. 

It was a weird situation considering that the forest they were at was previously filled with such creatures. 

Whhooosszzzh!!!

The aircraft that was tasked to carry them out had also arrived at the pointed location. It was now ready to bring them away from this continent. 

Most of the Cloud Hawks Manor's remaining people already wanted to leave this place as fast as possible. It wasn't because they didn't want to wait fo the Grand Arcanist but because they fully trusted him.

Sigh~ 

"Everyone… Let's trust those two and leave this place already. They can meet up with some other government outposts a few kilometers away from here so it shouldn't be a problem to return if they really have to..."

The Grand Arcanist's people entered this land with complete permission and requirements from the goverment while Yumi's group was not. 

Anyway, with Slaine's presence it should not be a problem to bring Wallace with him. 

"I will also a.s.sign some people to monitor this place for any signal coming from Wallace." 

Yumi a.s.sured everyone before she lead the group to board the airs.h.i.+p that landed safely near their group. 

'Urgh... I'd feel guilty if something happened to you... Please, be safe...'

Yumi prayed in her mind as she was the one who recruited Wallace in this rescue mission. She would surely feel responsible if something happens to him during this time so she can only hope for the best. 

As soon as they left, the previously quiet forest became lively again as no one noticed there was another pa.s.senger who joined them within their airs.h.i.+p.

"Is there any update from him?"

Ace asked Veda as he was a bit curious about his other body's situation. He wasn't too worried for him as he was fully aware how powerful he was and how effective his life-saving skills are even without using a top-cla.s.s mana artifact. 

He just received an information that Yumi had successfully rescued the Headmaster and has returned to the country safely.

Right now, he wasn't sure how he would act if he suddenly met those people who joined their operation in the northern continent. 

[ Nothing. I will let you know once I have one. ]

Veda answered truthfully. Wallace was no longer in the place where it could still use its coverage and the machine he took from it was also not being used. 

'Sigh... I'll just improvise if I met them. I just have to stay low-key... No, that wouldn't happen. I still have to attend cla.s.ses and Sir Percival will surely return to the Academy.

Should I pretend to be an A.I.?'

"Urgh, that won't work... Sigh. Whatever, I'll work on it when the time comes..."

Ace wasn't sure how to deal with the situation but since he had to act like the same Wallace, he can only try to do his best if the incident occurs. 

In the meantime, he continued working diligently on his mountain and he was sure that Wallace would be surprised by the huge changes he made in the past couple of weeks. 

He had also completed working on three Mech Frames that wouldn't lose much against his Lotus Mech Frame. 

A few hours later, before the evening approaches, Ace was working as usual when he was suddenly notified by Avalon that there was a visitor in front of their villa's gate. 

"Eh? Who would visit me on a weekend?"

Soon, he got an answer from his A.I. and learned that it was Miya Linus...
