The President Is Being Shameless Again Chapter 15: We Were Waiting For The Car, Not You

Spinning around, Yan Beicheng left with Lin Chu in his arms.

"Hey, my Big Nephew, wait for your young uncle!" exclaimed the little Yan Ningbai behind him. Just as he was about to run after the pair, he glanced towards the ground near him and saw Lin Chu's shoes.

Yan Ningbai grabbed a shoe in each of his chubby hand and immediately chased after the pair with a turn of his little bottom.

His little short legs made it extremely difficult for him to follow the pair. After a while, he could not see Yan Beicheng's figure anymore.

Fortunately, his Big Nephew still had some semblance of humanity as right after the chubby boy exited the hotel, he saw Yan Beicheng standing at the entrance with Lin Chu still in his embrace.

"Master Yan, thank you so much for helping me. You can put me down now." Lin Chu was too embarra.s.sed to raise her head. It felt like even the cool breeze of the night would not be able to dissipate the heat on her face.

"You're not only barefoot, but the floor is also dirty and cold too. How do you expect me to put you down?" Yan Beicheng was still carrying her like he was carrying a child. Everyone that pa.s.sed through the entrance to the hotel cast odd glances at them.

Lin Chu, of course, could not see any of this. Yan Beicheng, on the other hand, could see everything that was going on but paid no attention to any of it.

Lin Chu felt the gazes that were boring into the back of her crown. Despite not being able to see anything, she could still distinctly feel the eyes of the pa.s.sers-by on them.

What's more, Yan Beicheng had a low voice as well, so she kept feeling his breath right by her ear. She had no idea if he was doing this on purpose so that she would pay extra attention to what he said, or if it was the result of her calming down to listen to him, thus making her extra sensitive to the warmth he emitted.

Lin Chu wanted to hide, yet the back of her crown was held firmly in place by Yan Beicheng. It was like he was trying to protect her, which gave her an odd sense of a.s.surance.

"You're such an unfilial nephew, never even bothering to wait for your uncle!" exclaimed a soft voice suddenly.

Lin Chu was shocked, which prompted her to immediately turn around. This time, Yan Beicheng made no move in stopping Lin Chu as she lowered her gaze to see the chubby boy that stood before them, her heels grasped tightly in his chubby hands.

Lin Chu felt embarra.s.sed and heard the young boy said reluctantly, "Thankfully, you knew to wait at the entrance for me."

At this moment, a black Grand Cherokee pulled up slowly beside the trio and a bell boy wearing Sheng Yue's uniform got out from the car. He handed over the car keys and respectfully said, "Master Yan, your car."

With one arm still embracing Lin Chu, Yan Beicheng extended his other hand to receive his keys before saying to Yan Ningbai, "We were waiting for the car, not you."

Lin Chu was quiet. "…"

Yan Ningbai, too, was quiet. "…"

He felt that he had been hurt!

"You, you… Have you forgotten about your Uncle!" exclaimed Yan Ningbai with a stomp of his feet.

Yan Beicheng squinted his eyes and said, "If you keep calling us uncle and nephew, I'll abandon you by the side of the road."

The young Yan Ningbai felt that he had been abused and suffered a fright. With Lin Chu's heels still tight in his grasp, he immediately rushed forward until all that was left of him was an afterimage before he reappeared in the back seat of the car.

The car door nearest to him shut with a loud "bang", for he was really worried that his Big Nephew really would abandon him by the side of the road so that he could run off with the beautiful lady in his arms.

"…" Lin Chu wordlessly watched where the young boy had once stood. "My shoes…"

"Just put them on later," said Yan Beicheng before setting Lin Chu down into the pa.s.senger seat of the car. He quickly circled over to the other side and entered the car himself.
