He really wanted to press Lin Chu against the staircase and kiss her pa.s.sionately. He wanted to see her getting all red from the kiss, for her eyes to look intoxicated, for her to tremble in his arms.

He walked unsteadily and leaned his entire body onto Lin Chu. Lin Chu clenched her teeth and could not bother about feeling uncomfortable anymore. All she wanted to do was to put Yan Beicheng to bed. He was too heavy, and both her legs were shaking from the fatigue.

It took much difficulty for Lin Chu to follow Yan Beicheng's directions to his bedroom and finally getting him to his bed. She wanted to let go of him and let him lie down. But instead, Yan Beicheng did not let go of his hands around her waist, and she was taken off guard when he pulled her onto the bed as well.

Lin Chu fell heavily onto Yan Beicheng's chest. Her nose and lips accidentally brushed below his lips and her face smacked into the crook of his neck.

Yan Beicheng's eyes went dark. He swallowed hard and let go of his hands around her waist and flipped over to trap her in his arms. While Lin Chu still had the shocked expression on her face, he took out the thermometer from his mouth and gave her a hard kiss on the lips. Yan Beicheng's lips were burning hot and it scalded Lin Chu. He did not hold back on the attack and tightened his grip on her.

Lin Chu's eyes widened at first but slowly fell into intoxication as she closed her eyes. She felt a little weak as Yan Beicheng held her tight and she could feel him in her every breath and existence.

Just when she felt soft and weak, Yan Beicheng slowly let go of her. His head crooked a little to the side and cus.h.i.+oned itself on her shoulders as he sank his face into the crook of her neck, brus.h.i.+ng his forehead lightly against her.

"I don't want to infect you, otherwise, I'd never stop," he said quietly.

Lin Chu felt something as light as a feather on her skin, brus.h.i.+ng against it like a puddle of soft cream. His hot breath was on her skin, making her tremble. She even felt him giving her soft pecks on her neck. Lin Chu went red from head to toe and immediately pushed Yan Beicheng away, fumbling down from the bed.

Her feet touched the ground, but her knees went weak and she nearly fell kneeling on the carpet. It was lucky that she had steadied herself at the edge of the bed with both her hands, which prevented her from falling head down. It would have been too embarra.s.sing.

However, Lin Chu did feel that she was no better right now with her reaction.
