After the talk with CEO Xu, Ren left her office and headed towards the Acting department, Jiang Wan has messaged him to come there.

Throughout his way, he was thinking of whether he should go with the project or not.

It was a request from the CEO, if he rejected it, there can be remunerations.

But he really don't wanted to choose that project. It was a great trouble for him.

'Maybe I should choose «Vagabond» as my next movie!'

That thought occurred in his mind!

He was without any projects after «Heirs», it would be better to choose «Vagabond» as his next project, as he knows that it will be a hit.

But choosing it also means that he would be working in a movie, he didn't liked the story off.

Ren held his head when he thought about that.

At that moment, he suddenly saw a familiar face coming towards him.

It was someone he was seeing after sometime, he was the CEO of Arc production, CEO w.a.n.g.

He was going to greet him but before Ren knew it, CEO w.a.n.g has already hugged him.

'Huh? Why is he hugging me?'

The hug was so rough that it felt like his bones were breaking. It felt like Ren was caught by a giant squid. He let out a breath and looked past CEO w.a.n.g's shoulder.

People were looking at them weirdly as they were still in the lobby.

He patted CEO w.a.n.g's shoulder and he finally let Ren off.

"CEO w.a.n.g! It's nice to meet you after a long time."

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you too. I am hearing great things about you lately."

"I am just doing my best."

CEO w.a.n.g looked to be in a pleased mood.

Maybe it was because of the large success of «The stars above».

It was not only successful in China, but also in Korea.

After that, Arc production has become one of the top production houses and they are producing many movies and dramas in the future.

"CEO w.a.n.g, why are you here?"

"I was here to meet and thank CEO Xu, because of her help, we were able to broadcast the drama in Korea and we achieved great success there."

CEO Xu had previously helped Arc production meet with the executives of Kakao box, who has purchased the broadcasting rights of «The stars above» in Korea.

"It's good that I met you here. It was mostly because of you that the project was a success, but what are you doing here, I thought you were shooting in Korea right now?"

"I actually have a meeting with CEO Xu just now. I will be returning to Korea tomorrow."

"Is that so? That's a pity, I wanted to invite you to drinks, well then, let's go for drinks later."

CEO w.a.n.g said with a face like he was greatly dissapointed.

"Let's go for some drinks later, CEO w.a.n.g."

They parted their ways after that. CEO w.a.n.g went to the CEO's office and Ren started going towards the elevators.

As the elevator doors opened, he saw someone in it already.

It was a woman with a short stature and brown hair. She was wide eyed seeing him, it looks she recognized him.

As Ren got into the elevator, she kept looking at him without blinking.

'Is she a fan?'

Ren thought like that as he glanced at her.

"Excuse me! Are you Mr. Xin Ren, the one who acted in «Secret spy» and «The stars above». The actor people are a.s.suming to be the next big star of China."

"Yes, I am the one, although I don't know about the last part."

"I am a big fan of yours. I really liked your acting in both the movie and the drama."

The girl said with a excited face and Ren replied with a smile.

"Is that so? Thanks for supporting me till now."

The conversation died after that. The girl was still looking at him without blinking her eyes but he just thought that it was because she was meeting a celebrity for the first time or she was really his fan.

"Um, I don't want to disturb you but I have a question?"

"Question? What type of question?"

Ren asked as he raised his eyebrow and the girl said with a fl.u.s.tered expression.

"Have you seen the CEO of Arc production here?"

"Are you talking about CEO w.a.n.g?"

The girl bashfully nodded her head at that and replied.

"Yes, I am looking for him."

"I think he is in the CEO's office right now. I don't know when he will come down."

The girl face become dark when she heard that. It looks like her expectations crumbled instantly.

She fidgeted in front of Ren, with an expression that said that she didn't knew what to do now.

Looking at that expression, Ren asked.

"Why do you want to meet him?"

"Ah, I wanted to show him my screenplay."

The girl was surprised when she heard that but she still replied.

"Screenplay? Are you a writer?"

The girl shook her head as she replied.

"No, I am a director."

"A director? Were you looking for investments from Arc production?"

The girl nodded when he asked that. Ren had guessed right, she had come here, just to meet CEO w.a.n.g and show him her screenplay.

"I think you have to send the screenplay to Arc production to get investments. They will call you if they are interested."

"I know that but they already rejected my screenplay but I wanted to meet CEO w.a.n.g one time and talk to him about it."

'The girl is surely stubborn!'

Ren thought that as his gaze finally lingered on that girl's hand, there was a screenplay there.

It was probably the screenplay she wanted to show CEO w.a.n.g.

"What type of story it is?"

Ren suddenly asked and the girl's face revealed a look of shock.

She holded the screenplay in her hands tightly as she replied.

"If you don't mind, do, do you want to read it?"

The girl's gaze was filled with expectations and nervousness when she asked that.

Ren was about to reject her when he suddenly thought that he should at least give it a read.

At that moment, the phone in his pocket vibrated. It was a notification from Jiang Wan.

[Where are you? We are waiting! Come here quickly!!]

It was a message that said that Ren should head to the meeting room directly but his gaze lingered on the screenplay in the girl's hands.

He thought about it for a second and finally messaged Jiang Wan that he will be late.

He looked towards the girl as he said.

"Okay, I will read it!"
