Marcel heard the sound of the intercom in the living room as he was was.h.i.+ng the dishes. He quickly removed the gloves he was wearing and went to get it.

"Yes?" Marcel said as he pressed the b.u.t.ton on the intercom.

"Your delivery is here, should I let them up or will you come to pick it up yourself?" the voice of the guard from the other side said.

"Let them come up," Marcel said and went to check on Liam who was supposed to be watching TV in the living room. He was expecting to find him watching tv but he had fallen asleep on the living room couch. Marcel shook his head and helped him get comfortable before turning off the tv.

A few minutes later he heard his doorbell ring and he went to get it. He found that there were a few men who had come in carrying boxes of the things that he had bought.

"Please come in, just put them there," Marcel said and the men who were standing outside nodded before walking into the apartment and placing the things on the floor. Marcel watched as they stacked the boxes on top of each other and there was a total of seven boxes brought in.

"Do you want some water?" Marcel asked as he looked at the muscular men who were finis.h.i.+ng stacking up the boxes that they had brought in.

"No thanks, we'll be on our way," one of the men said and the rest nodded at him as they made their way out of the apartment.

"Thanks for bringing these things up!" Marcel said to the men who were already walking to the elevator. One of them raised his hands to show that they had heard him and Marcel closed the door once more.

Marcel opened the boxes and started searching for the things that he needed immediately since Liam was ready for bed. He took the box with the soaps, shampoos and conditioners and carried it to Liam's room and neatly arranged them in the bathroom.

He then went to get a towel before waking Liam up to go take a shower. Liam drowsily went to his room to take a shower as Marcel went back to putting the things that they need in their respective places.

"Brother Marcel," Liam said from the entrance of his room.

"You're done?" Marcel asked as he continued to remove the tags on their clothes. He was planning on throwing them in the was.h.i.+ng machine.

"Mmh," Liam said and climbed on to the large bed in Marcel's room. He slipped underneath the large duvet on the bed and laid his head on the soft pillow. He had never slept on such a comfortable bed in his life so he was unable to stop himself from releasing a comfortable sigh.

Marcel turned to look at Liam who was comfortably lying on his bed while looking like he was going to drift off to sleep at any moment. He could predict what the boy was thinking and he silently vowed to himself to provide him with the best he could afford.

"Do you want to come to work with me tomorrow?" Marcel asked. He was just making conversation because there was no way he was going to leave Liam home unattended.

"Mmh, I want to see where big brother works," Liam said his voice sounding a bit heavier from being sleepy.

"Go sleep first, I'll join you as soon as I'm done here," Marcel said when he noticed that Liam was already struggling to keep his eyes open.

"Mmh," Liam responded vaguely making Marcel smile. After he was done arranging the things in his room, he went to finish up in the kitchen. He bought the things he thought that he would need to be able to cook, he could already predict how c.u.mbersome that was going to be.

He quickly finished arranging the things he got in the cupboards and put all the boxes in storage before going to load the was.h.i.+ng machine with the clothes they got. Once he was done with that task he went to finish doing the dishes and took a long shower.

He had never felt so happy while taking a shower before but after living in the orphanage where he had to share the same shower with forty other boys he was so happy that now he was able to shower in a clean environment and didn't have to worry about his body touching the wall in the bathroom.

He left the bathroom while drying his hair and went to check on the laundry. He found that the load was done and he put all of them in the dryer before he went back to the bedroom.

After putting on a pair of pyjama pants, he went to bed. Just when he got comfortable he heard his phone vibrate on his bedside table. He sat up with a sigh and picked up the call.

"h.e.l.lo?" Marcel said and there was a long pause from the other side.

"Marcel, stop by my office tomorrow before you go for your shoot," Damien said from the other side of the phone.

Marcel furrowed his eyebrows in slight confusion but he did not question him and instead nodded in agreement not realising that Damien could not see him.

"Well?" Damien asked from the other side when his request was met with silence.

"Of course, I'll drop by," Marcel said after he realised how stupid his actions had been.

"Your crew will come to pick you up, so just wait for Julia's call okay?" Damien said reminding Marcel that he did not need to battle with public transport anymore since he'll be provided with transport by the company.

"I will," Marcel said in agreement and after they said their goodbyes, Damien ended the call. Marcel put the phone back on the bedside table and pulled the duvet over his body.

He was not sleepy when he laid down but sleep came over him so fast he did not even know when he had actually fallen asleep.
