"I don't know, I'm not even sure about what he wanted to discuss," Marcel said as he got off the van and beckoned for Liam to come with him. Liam got off the van and held Marcel's hand as the both of them walked into the building.
Marcel knew that they were behind schedule so he was quick and made a beeline for Damien's office. Damien's secretary had been expecting him but she was surprised to see Liam. She stared at Liam from her desk and Liam stared at her in return all the while Marcel was getting impatient.
"Is Mr. Matteo inside?" Marcel asked snapping her back into attention.
"Yes, he is. He said you should go in as soon as you arrive" she said and Marcel nodded at her before knocking at the door to Damien's office and going inside.
"Uncle Damien!" Liam shouted and ran towards Damien.
When Marcel turned around from closing the door behind him, he was surprised to see Liam sitting on Damien's lap. He suddenly felt betrayed for some reason. Especially because Damien was looking at him as if he was telling him he can go now since he already brought Liam.
"Was there something you wanted to tell me?" Marcel asked feigning ignorance.
"Mmh, you can leave Liam here. If he goes with you, you won't be able to take care of him" Damien said bluntly.
Liam looked at Damien then turned to look at Marcel. He would listen to what Marcel had to say so he decided to not worry about it. It's not like he did not like Damien anyway since he was such a charismatic uncle and he was determined to learn more from him.
If Marcel knew what Liam was thinking he would really complain to the old Marcel. How could he have been so unreliable? The impression of the old Marcel was still stuck with Liam since it hadn't been long since she had transmigrated into his body.
Although Marcel felt betrayed, he couldn't just say no because he was quite aware of the accidents that can happen on set and he did not want Liam to be in danger. If he had gone with him on set he would have probably asked him to stay in the van with the road manager.
"Will you be okay here Liam?" Marcel asked and felt his heartache when he nodded without hesitation. It ached, even more, when Damien rubbed his little head and he beamed a smile at him in response.
"Ahem, okay. I'll come to fetch you after I'm done with work okay?" Marcel said and opened the door to leave.
He looked back at Liam as if he was hesitating to leave and to his pleasant surprise, Liam hopped off Damien's lap and went to give him a hug. How could he not notice how down his mood became?
"Big brother, don't worry about I'll wait for you here," Liam said after Marcel had picked him up in his arms. Marcel nodded with a smile on his face.
"Make sure you listen to your uncle, don't bother him when he is working okay?" Marcel said in reminder.
"I won't I even brought my homework," Liam said as he pointed at the backpack that he had thrown on the floor in his rush to go to Damien and Liam felt sour once more.
"Alright, I'll see you later Mr. Matteo," Marcel said as he put Liam down and after giving him a few reluctant to leave glances he finally walked out of the office.
Marcel let out a sigh after closing the office door and the secretary looked at him in question. She looked around him for the boy but she did not see Liam anywhere.
"Where is the kid?" she asked Marcel and became even more confused when he sighed again.
"I'll be on my way. I'll come back later to pick him up" Marcel said and without waiting for her to say anything, he made his way to the elevators.
As the elevator descended to the ground floor, he felt it slow down to a stop midway and he looked up in question only to see two familiar faces. t.i.tus and Axel also looked at him for a bit before they got in the elevator as well.
When the elevator started moving again t.i.tus looked at Marcel and opened his mouth to say something but did not know what to say because Marcel looked too gloomy.

"Hi, I'm t.i.tus, this is Axel," t.i.tus said after finally mustering up some courage. Marcel looked at his outstretched hand and shook it as he composed his expression.
"I'm Marcel, I'm still new here, please take care of me," Marcel said and smiled at the two of them leaving them stunned.
"Oh, are you a trainee? I didn't hear about the company recruiting for a new group" Axel asked.
"Ah, I'm actually a model," Marcel said managing to surprise the two boys.
"I didn't know Big Star was taking in models now," Axel said under his breath but t.i.tus understood why they took Marcel in. Even if he didn't manage models he would not let a gem like Marcel go so easily.
"You probably don't know a lot of people in the scene right? Are you just starting?" t.i.tus asked as the elevator doors opened.
"Yes, still a rookie," Marcel said with a polite smile.
"Is that so? Well since I'm your senior even in this, let me know whenever you need any help" t.i.tus said and pa.s.sed him his phone so he would put in his number.
"Ah," Marcel hesitated for a second before remembering that he was a guy now and there was no need for him to worry. He wrote down his phone number in t.i.tus' phone and gave it back to him.
t.i.tus called the number and Marcel felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. When he pulled out his phone he saw a new number.
"That's my number, don't be a stranger," t.i.tus said and smiled at him as they were walking out of the building. Marcel did not even get the chance to think of how guts these young boys were before his thoughts were interrupted by the screams of girls.
[Hehe] was the only response he got before he was bombarded by the flashes of cameras. [If you are not reading this at webnovel.com then you are supporting stolen work. To support the author, please read this at https:///book/13710795306974905/The-Treasure-She-Never-Asked-For ]
