The Concubine's Daughter Comes Around 14: Time To Set Off

It was midwinter. Everything was covered with snow. Dong Ling wore a white coat and blended herself with the surroundings. Since this morning, she had been practicing a strong punching skill without a stop. She was so immersed that she didn’t even realize the sun was setting.

At this moment, sweat dripped down her forehead and she was wet all over. If she weren’t practicing, she could have been frozen!

“Miss Ling. Get in and have some ginger soup, in case you might get a cold.” said Zhumo. She held a fur cloak in her hand, which was made of the mastiff’s fur.

Since Miss Ling talked with her mother, she had begun to train herself cruelly, out of no reason.

Moreover, she kept eating a lot of unknown weeds or bugs. When she was excited, she even ate a snake before cooking it!

Zhu Mo reported, “This morning, Li Fugui asked me to tell you that everything you wanted was ready. And he asked when you would give him the antidote and when you would leave.”

Feeling the roaring power in her body, Dong Ling finally gave a satisfied smile. After the three-month hard practice, she nearly tried all the toxics in Li Village and recovered most of her power at last. Then she replied, “Today.”

Getting changed into a simply coat, Dong Ling headed for the main mall. Far before she arrived, she saw Li Fugui waiting for her at the door so as to welcome her.

Over the past three months, Li Fugui and his father had been tortured greatly by Dong Ling. In addition to being punched during her practice, they had to go to the remote mountains for hunting snakes which nearly poisoned them.

Through this, they realized the unfathomable power Dong Ling had. Since they knew they were no match for her, they followed her instructions obediently with loyalty.  

“Miss Ling. Get in the room!” Li Fugui and his father Old Li greeted her warmly.

“No. I’ve got something else to attend to. Antidotes for this month. If I fail to return next month, go ask my mom for them!” Dong Ling ordered.  

“Okay! I’ll go get your stuff!” replied Li Fugui. He trotted back with a package in his hand. Dong Ling opened it and took a glance. Inside it packed some basic survival equipment, including climbing claws, ropes, fire-stones as well as some rations.

She smiled. Well, they got all she asked for. But the package was too heavy! Are they going to smash her?

Getting rid of some useless stuff, Dong Ling started her journey without even looking back.

She feared nothing, but the windy winter. Too much sport would weaken her and speed up the loss of physical strength, which did no good to her.

To join the army, she collected some requirement files three months ago. And Dong Ling reached the specifications in every aspect, except her gender…

She didn’t have a choice, but to take advantage of the third prince of the Wu State.

When smoke rose, the perfectly roasted rabbit gave a delicious smell!

Dong Ling was about to bite it when a man in a gorgeous guard’s uniform suddenly grabbed it…
