No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 135: Scooped Up A Corpse?

(Continuation of a.s.sa.s.sination scene from the end of previous chapter. This is a little recap for those of you who read my first novel ;)~ I shortened the details too hahahahaha since it's a novel for Susu and Chen Mu, let's give em the spotlight they deserve :3)

The high-pitched whistling and cringe alerting voice sent chills down the young lady's spine. The a.s.sa.s.sin approached step by step towards her hiding spot.

BAM!

"Game over, little kitten. Come out now if you want a less painful death!" The murderous vibe that he emitted was sickening. His deep yellow teeth with obvious layers of gross leftover food from years of poor hygiene were revealed as he creepily spread his lips; forming a smile. The breaths that he huffed from his mouth contaminated the air in the feces scented bathroom.

She clung on to the metal pipes that were located close to the ceiling. Her pet.i.te body had fit in the s.p.a.ce between the metal bar pipes and ceiling, securing her hiding position. As the a.s.sa.s.sin swung his metallic bat sideways, his bloodshot red eyes wandered left and right to make sure that there was no room for her to escape.

One by one, the restroom stalls were kicked opened using his foot. His craving for a rotting iron stench and an atrocious splatter of red liquid walls increased as he narrowed it down to the last stall.

Before smas.h.i.+ng down the last door to that stall, he said, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Let's see. Shall I give you a free plastic surgery when I see you? Perhaps, skinning you alive and making your smooth skin into a hat? Then chopping your fingers and toes to form a necklace. Then stab your eyes and sew those lips shut!"

After a countdown, he knocked down the last door to find nothing but a clogged toilet with many spiders and roaches floated in it. He had cursed out loud before he headed for the door. Suddenly, a thought popped up in his mind as he turned around and stared up at the ceiling.

"Found you, kitten." He licked the corner of his lips. Her blood froze and mind went blank when her eyes met his.

- Middle of the ocean -

Under the starry night, Zhi Hei stood still with an expressionless face as he watched his personal a.s.sistant, Shen Qi, torture the spies that were sent by Professor Luo Xia's secret group. After managing Huang Corps for a long enough time, he has taken out many opponents legally and fairly.

He despised those who had arms and legs, yet uses sly methods to win projects and disclose corporate confidential information. Since months ago, he had been trying to track down the suspicious activities that went on in his company.

Normally, he would ignore how others perform business as long as they didn't involve Huang Corps in it. Unfortunately, they chose the wrong person to mess with. Since a few months ago, companies had somehow retrieved information about the upcoming partners.h.i.+p projects and bidding prices that Huang Corps had decided on.

During that time, he was away on a business trip and happened to b.u.mp into Professor Luo Xia. In the past, the elderly man gave him professional advice and had helped improve his management approach for his company. His advices always resulted in positive outcomes and the elderly man had never accepted any type of compensation.

After seeing his rather distressed expression, Professor Luo Xia asked him about his worries, and he didn't hesitate in telling him about the leaked information.

Professor Luo Xia suggested him to pause on all projects and deal with the most important ones secretly. While dealing with the projects secretly, Zhi Hei also allowed Ariana, the expert acquaintance that Professor Luo Xia had recommended to access every connection to Huang Corps' technology.

Ariana may look like a simple housewife on the outside, but she was an expert in coding programs and completing impossible tasks from the shady side of the underground market.

Although she performed and completed her tasks on time, she chose the ones that she believed was right. Never had she harmed anyone who didn't deserve the Karma. Since she was one of the best candidates for jobs in the underground market, everyone respected her wherever she went.

Since she had received Professor Luo Xia's request, she created a program specifically for Huang Corps. In order to make sure she traced down the right people, she ran multiple tests in these months. Finally, she could finalize the list of spies and hand it over.

Amongst the few spies, only two survived this far to meet Zhi Hei and face their final judgements. Being confronted on the spot, the two spies trembled vigorously while kneeling on the floor. One of them already soiled his pants and the real torture hadn't even begun yet.

Meanwhile, the other had an arrogant mouth that ignited everyone's anger. They took the wrong turn when they schemed against Huang Corps and attempted in kidnapping Zhi Hei's sister, Huang Hui Yan. Luckily, she was not hurt in the process or else these spies would have had their necks broken already.

Since the spies refused to spit out the leader who hired them, they ended up being tortured using modified whips, spikes and other weapons that were customized for leaving opponents begging to have their lives ended.

At the end of the confrontation, Zhi Hei didn't get the answer he wished to find out. Like always, he was prepared for this result. Therefore, while he was torturing these two fish baits, his own team was already running searches to figure out the real boss.

"Throw him in the ocean to feed the fishes. The salt water and fish bites should be enough to kill him off painfully." He said as he crossed his legs while leaning on his chair like a mighty emperor. Everyone else obeyed his words and s.h.i.+vered as they threw the nearly dead spy in a net and tossed him into the cold, dark waves.

After minutes of torture, Shen Qi pulled the net back up from the ocean. "d.a.m.n! Why is he so f.u.c.king heavy? What is this? Did we catch a huge tuna fish or something? Arghh!! How come this guy feels like he got much heavier when he's dead than alive?"

The moment Shen Qi saw the net with a human body clinging to it; everyone concentrated on the lifeless looking body. Suddenly, Zhi Hei stood up from his chair and his frost-like eyes melted as he recognized the corpse looking figure. Once he approached her and confirmed her ident.i.ty, his urgent tone rushed everyone on the cruise to get their a.s.ses moving.

"Call Chen Mu and have him meet us at the dock! No, at the cruise! What are you all staring and standing still for?!!" He covered her body with his jacket and carried her to his room where she could warm up.

Her fragile voice whispered his name before she fell unconscious. For once, his subordinates saw the gentle side of their boss when facing a female and coming in close contact with one too! As they worked their a.s.ses to the max speed, many mumbled, "and I thought our boss was gay! d.a.m.n, my heart feels so broken...man, he was a legend..and now...no more hope in his single status!"

Shen Qi listened to everyone's comments and sighed, "Boss... oh boss. Although we're friends and all that, could you not be so brutal to these poor souls? Well, no... even if you want to suddenly act straight, at least do it when I'm not here! I will get hunted down tonight by all these people...forget it..I'm the poor soul."

It was already pa.s.sed midnight when Chen Mu received Shen Qi's call. He stepped out to answer the call while yawning, "My beauty sleep!!!!! Huang Zhi Hei, this better be good! I'll only accept two explanations for this! Either you're getting married or you're pregnant with my child!"

Shen Qi coughed and cleared his throat, "Chen Mu, it's me. The boss is indeed sick, well, I mean uh... not quite him but everyone... FORGET IT! Forget him, just we need you here. It's an emergency! If you don't come then, everyone will die on this cruise within the matter of hours!"

"...what? What's wrong? Where are you guys? I'll head there right away. Is Zhi Hei hurt??" Chen Mu quickly grabbed his car keys and informed Lin Que about him leaving.

"We...will dock in half an hour. Long story short, we scooped up a seaweed covered looking corpse and it turned out to be a girl. Zhi Hei just tossed everyone's hearts down the ocean and marinated them as he held the girl in his arms and headed back to his room. Clarification, I am not part of those broken hearts, but your patient may be his future mistress. Just saying."

"What??? Impossible!!! This guy never touched or smelled a girl's strand of hair!! I remember asking if he was gay and even tried to test it out!!" Chen Mu spat out random words as he raced down to the parking lot.

"...You..did what to our bos.s..? Test what out? How?" Shen Qi stuttered as he remained on the phone for convenience purposes.

Within fifteen minutes, Chen Mu appeared by the dock and rushed onto the cruise.

As he fast paced through the halls to reach Zhi Hei's room, he complained with his wagging unicorn tail and kitten slippers that had gotten dirtied from rus.h.i.+ng, "Geez, he got a wife and cheated on me! And what's with these long a.s.s hallways? Just cause you, have long legs, doesn't mean I do. My short leg problems, man. If only I'm actually a unicorn and had wings to fly .. or was that a magical pony.?"

"Yes!! I'm finally here!! Finally, out of the maze!!" he rushed into the room to see the cold, ruthless rumored CEO of Huang Corps servicing a pale, fragile lady in bed with such warmth in his eyes. Chen Mu gasped with his palms against his cheeks, "Oh my!!! It's true!!!!!"

Zhi Hei silenced him with a finger, pointed to the gravely pale girl on the bed and said, "now."

Chen Mu's expression turned solemn with all jokes aside and diagnosed the girl's condition. While he checked the girl for injuries, Zhi Hei eyed him secretly from head to toe. 'What's with this...rainbow vibrant looking creature with a tail and kitten slippers? Is this his at-home taste? So, he refuses to wear a red tux and says that it is too girly, but he could wear this...'
