No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 150: Why Are You Here?

Although Ariana mentioned about Alexander in the past, Chen Nan has never officially met him. Either the timing was not right, or there would be a mission that interrupted their plan. Out of all the scenarios that they could've met, Chen Nan never thought that it would be like this.

After bandaging Alexander's wounds, he pulled the blanket over his half-naked body. In his condition, Chen Nan does not advise him to make any large movements. Ariana chewed on her lips several times when she tried to dig information out of him.

Unfortunately, Alexander kept his mouth shut and kept avoiding her questions. Eventually, Chen Nan managed to stop her from pestering him. He knew her extremely well that she is always protective over everyone she knew.

When his eyes landed on Alexander earlier, he already noticed that the way he looked at Ariana was a bit different. As a man, he could tell that he definitely has feelings for her. From the way she was acting around him, Chen Nan could tell that she was clueless about his feelings. That is probably why they were this close.

Chen Nan interrupted Ariana and said, "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Chen Nan, Ariana's husband. Thank you for saving me earlier."

Alexander chuckled and coughed lightly. He replied, "Nice meeting you. I'm Alexander, your crazy wife's... friend. No need to shower me with thanks. I only pa.s.sed by at the right timing."

She tilted her head in confusion and crossed her arms, "What happened? I forgot to ask why Chen Nan was in your room."

"Let me tell you my part of the story after we had separated earlier. I successfully got past the gates and started to explore the tunnel. For some reason that tunnel split into three paths and I randomly chose one. I'm not exactly sure if my luck was that great, but the route I chose led me to a disgusting room."

He covered his mouth as if he could still smell the blood from the room. "The exit was a rectangular, shaped door. Little did I know that I was actually on the d.a.m.n ceiling of the room. When I looked down, I saw many chopped up pieces of body parts. I'm sure some belonged to humans and others were animal remains."

She gasped as she listened attentively to his description. Once he mentioned the details that he saw, she confirmed that it was the same room that she was in. When they shared the explicit information, they started to wonder why anyone would create more than one exits or entrances in such a horrific room.

Then, he mentioned how he tried to figure out if this was a psychopathic brutal murder experiment room or for another objective. He continued stating what he remembered before losing consciousness.

"While examining the room, somebody tried to enter the room. The k.n.o.b turned, and I squatted down behind one of the cabinets. It was a skinny old man who looked probably around eight-five years old. His skin almost shaped every bone in his body."

"I saw him strip off his clothes and stepped into the blood-filled bathtub. Not only that, the st.i.tched skin that was floating in the tub was used as a body scrub too. It was very disgusting. His voice sounded like those sick patients in their death beds."

Subconsciously, she started rubbing her arms to get rid of the gooseb.u.mps on her body. Her eyelashes fluttered as she felt extremely disturbed, "D..did he say anything?"

Chen Nan nodded and said, "I don't want to die. After hearing his words and seeing that his back was towards me, I wanted to sneak out of there. Luck was obviously not on my side because when I turned the k.n.o.b and pulled the door open, it triggered an alarm. That old man instantly turned around..."

Her body trembled as she attempted to maintain her composure. "But he's an old man...so, you should be able to outrun him..."

"That's what I thought too, but that wasn't the case at all. He was fast enough to grab a hold of my s.h.i.+rt and I was running using all my strength already. Not only that, the old man had weird eyes. His eyes were deep red. And the rest, I will leave it to Alexander."

Alexander let out a sigh and said, "I'm not going to tell you guys why I went there, but the room that both of you were in was a danger zone. It was a forbidden area in this place. I have no idea how you guys snuck in, but I could only say that you two need to get out of here as soon as possible."

"Anyways, when you peeked at the old man's bathing session, he already knew that you were in the room. You might not have noticed it, but he slowly hypnotized you without your knowledge. Luckily, you managed to get away from him and ran into me."

"When he lost consciousness, I carried him back to my room before the old man caught up. In the middle of dragging his body, he mumbled your name. So that was why I went back after tossing him on my bed."

She pinched her chin as she listened to his part of the story. For some reason, she felt that it was odd. As always, she straightforwardly exposed her thoughts and asked, "Why did he faint? How did you know I would be back? What if he was just saying my name because he was hypnotized?"

As if he had already expected this reaction from her, he immediately responded, "Once the hypnotism fails, the target would lose consciousness. We used to pair up when it comes to dangerous missions. If he could say your name before falling unconscious, then it wouldn't hurt to go back there to see if you happen to be there too."

"If we talk about the routes in this place, then I am more confident in getting in and out of here with no problem. If it's about what's in here and where different rooms are located, then I would also have more information than you guys. Since I've answered your concerns, how about you answer my questions? Why were you two here?"
