Rie turns around and sees Yuta standing near the bedroom, rubbing his sleepy eyes. She furrows her brows slightly. Did her son hear everything? 

Yuta c.o.c.ks his head slightly, looking like he will drop to sleep anytime. She eases her brows. It seems like he's been too sleepy to pay attention. She walks to him and picks him up in her arms. "Sleep, Yuta. Mother is here."

The boy coils his arms around her neck and puts his chin on her shoulder. She pats his back lightly and hums a lullaby. Yuta closes his eyes, relaxing and seemingly falling asleep. 

Kiyohira watches the scene with a complicated expression. Earlier, he didn't miss the deathly glare that Yuta sent in Maddox's direction when that man left. The killing intent in those eyes was clear as daylight. At that moment, Yuta didn't seem like a young boy. No matter how intelligent he is at his age, he's still a child. That's the eyes of a man; a child shouldn't have that kind of gaze. When Rie turned to Yuta, the boy's expression changed suddenly. A moment ago, he was as alert as a tiger. Instantly, Yuta became so sleepy that he was barely able to stand. 

Sighing, he follows Rie to the bedroom. She gives him a look to stay quiet. He shrugs and gets out of the bedroom, leaving mother and son alone. 

It's not that he didn't notice. The way Yuta acts around Rie is completely different from how he acts around him. He's curious about what kind of secret that boy is hiding. Earlier, he threw a bait when he asked Yuta to tell him the secrets and Yuta took it. Now, he's more than sure that Yuta isn't just a prodigal child. What could it be? Whatever it is, Yuta doesn't want Rie to know.

Does a complicated wife give birth to a complicated son? He should not think that way. Yuta is his son. Whether he has a gaze that belongs to a man or ability to pretend to be a child anytime, he's his son. He will wait for his son to speak. He won't make the same mistakes that he made in the past when it came to Rie.

Rie comes out of the bedroom. Kiyohira is lost in thoughts. Thinking that he must be worried about Maddox and DH, she reveals a small smile. She sits beside him and takes his hand. "What are you thinking of, Wifey?"

He smiles at her. "Can you guess, Hubby?"

"It looks like I won't be able to eat my crab's third leg soon." Rie puckers her lips and looks at him with watery eyes. "This husband is starving. Five years of celibacy is too much. Help me break my record."

"You did well." Kiyohira can't help but laugh lightly. "From now on, you will be addicted to me."

"Or you will be addicted to me." She bats her eyes.

"I am already addicted to you." Kiyohira pulls her closer and whispers, "Is Yuta asleep?"

"Yes, he's asleep." Her eyes twinkle mischievously. 

Kiyohira is sure that the boy is pretending to be asleep. He wants to attack his wife, but he doesn't trust that kid. Before she seduces him with her eyes alone, he changes the topic. There's an elephant in the room that can't be ignored.

"I will talk to Takes.h.i.+." He tells her quietly, "He will take care of the Kamiyama Group from now on."

Rie lowers her head slightly, frowning. "Will he be okay?"

"Yes, he's my brother and my father's son. He will be fine." Kiyohira has a firm belief in his younger brother's talents. "He might be better than me."

"Will you be okay?" She asks him with a soft voice. "Leaving him behind because of me... I think that you should think about your decision again."

She's not sure if he can adjust to her living style. She knows how much he cares about Takes.h.i.+. If he wants, he can take Yuta with him and leave her behind.

He can guess what's on her mind again. He flicks her forehead. She winces in pain and scowls at him. He exhales in frustration. "Why don't you stop thinking that way for once? I won't regret being here with you and Yuta. Takes.h.i.+ has grown a lot in the last five years. Don't underestimate him. He will be fine. I think that he's more suitable to be the CEO of the Kamiyama Group than me."

"Really?" She raises her brow sharply, giving him a side-long look.

"He will not be as good as me." He waves his hand insolently. "But he's also a Kamiyama. He's going to be okay. I am already so old. I want to spend my remaining years with you and Yuta only. Don't worry about money. My best sides haven't disappeared. I am still a Kamiyama. I am not poor yet."

"You still think that I married you for money." Rie wrinkles her nose. "Can you eat money? Can you have s.e.x with money?"

"You did have ulterior motives." He smirks at her. 

"Don't remind me." She reveals a cold smile. "I haven't forgotten that you dated Chisa even if it was fake."

Kiyohira looks away uneasily. "That was..."

"Not the only way." She squints at him. "Tell me what did you do with her. How far did you go? I saw you holding her hand and hugging her in the photos. You are quite a talker, Kiyohira. What else did you do? What did she do to you?"

Under his wife's fierce interrogation, beads of sweat form on his forehead. "Nothing happened like that."

"You had lunches and dinner with her." The smile on Rie's face becomes wider. "What else did you do, Kiyohira? I don't believe that she didn't do anything. The sooner you tell, the faster it will be."

He will be executed if he tells his wife that Chisa pecked his lips once.
