"Jane, Jane, Jane." He whispered between his feverish kisses. He sounded like he wanted to make sure that I was really the one in his arms, that he was not halucinating.

I wanted to answer to his call so bad, to ensure him that I was here with him. But, I was too occupied with his kisses that I wasn't able to utter any coherent words. Only my tight grasps could show how much I wanted him to know that I was here.

In the end, we both were gasping for breath with his forehead sticking to my shoulder and his arms were encircling my body in a tight hug. I, myself, clung onto him with my legs still clamping around his hips and my face hiding in his neck. We stayed like that for a while until we caught our breath. This feeling was so....satisfyingly amazing to me that I was afraid I was only dreaming.

"I miss you, Jane." Tom whispered in my ear.

I smiled. "I miss you, too." was my reply, but after that, I tightened my arms around his neck as I gritted my teeth. Not too strong to choke him, but strong enough to know that I was deliberately causing him discomfort. "Since you miss me so much, why didn't you call me, huh? I was almost at my limit waiting for you and ran away with Sanji."

"Ahk, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I did try to call you several times, but my call wouldn't get through no matter what. That's why I chose to come to see you, but Siji kidnapped me on my way here." He didn't struggle to break free and just let me punish him to my heart content.

"Show me your phone, come on. I need to check whether you're lying or not." I released him and put on a stern face.

Tom rubbed his neck a bit but hastily took out his phone for me to see when I glared at him. I checked on his call log and found out that he did call me several times. I even checked my number to ensure he got the right number, and sure he did.

"After Uncle Ben found me, he had tried to call you but the result was also the same. We thought that maybe you had changed your number and waited for you to call us, instead. But, you never called us." Tom explained.

I frowned as I reached for my abandoned handphone on the table. I showed him my call log, proof that I had been trying to call for Uncle Ben months ago.

"Well, that's strange." I mumbled. "Siji."

Siji appeared in a flash. "Well, that's fast." He smiled with a mischievous look on his face, and it took me a second to understand the meaning of it.

I could feel my expression darkened but Tom was smiling brightly. "Not now, Siji. I need to make sure she is okay before I do it. When that time comes, you might get some days off."

The heat started to spread to my cheeks when I heard him. He was still a pervert, that side of him didn't disappear, after all.

"Siji, I want to ask about something. I remember Sanji mentioned about how ghosts and your kinds could affect everything related to electromagnetic. Now, tell me, is there a possibility that you can purposely disturb the signal to a certain person? I mean, if I want to call Sanji, can you block it?" I diverted their attention before Tom's teasing grew wilder.

Siji pondered for a while. "Yes, I can, Milady." He said.

I squinted my eyes. Why did I have the a.s.sumption that he was the one behind the miscommunication between Tom and me?

"Siji." I put on my very serious expression as I looked at that man. "Confess. Now."

"I'm sorry, Milady. It was for the best for the both of you. Since he was selected to join the trial, we had been constantly disturbing the signal on your part. We were just lucky since you had not mastered the ability to control spiritual power. And since Tom had been back to Indonesia for quite some time during your training, we changed target and blocked his signal instead of yours."

It was quite surprising to see him confessed so quickly, but his smiling face made me twitched in annoyance. But, after hearing his explanation, it really made sense that I had no chance to complain to him.

I sighed. "Fine." I said afterwards. "You're dismissed." Siji bowed before he disappeared.

"You..." I looked at Tom who was still standing there without words after showing off his perverseness. "I'll show you your room." I jumped down from the table and beckoned him to follow me.

"Thank you, Milady." He said which earned him a glare from me. He grinned as he followed me. He took his bag from the living room and I brought him to the guest room in the first floor.

"You can stay here." I said as I walked into the room. It was a good thing that I always had the housekeeper in my house cleaned the guest bedroom. "Bathroom is near the kitchen. Sanji's room will be next to yours. You can put your things in the wardrobe. Just make yourself at home." I said as I sat down on single couch near the wardrobe.

"I have a question." He said with serious face.

"Go ahead."

"Where's your bedroom?" He leaned down and trapped me in the couch. His smirk made my poor heart fluttered.

"On the s-second floor." I blushed.

"Let me see it." He pulled me up excitedly.

"Why?" Why did he have to see my bedroom? I was seriously dumbfounded looking at his excited expression.

"Isn't it every man's dream to enter and see their girlfriend's bedroom?" He stated it as if it was obvious why he wanted to see my bedroom.

"What dream? Isn't it just your dream?" I glared at him, feeling utterly disbelief with his shamelessness.

"Ah, isn't it?" He pondered for a bit. "Never mind that. Let's go! Show me your bedroom." He chuckled as he dragged me to the second floor.

I had no other choice but to lead him to my bedroom. It was fortunate that I had just cleaned my room, so it wouldn't be so embarra.s.sing for me when Tom entered my room. Not that it would do much since I was sure he had seen all of my embarra.s.sing side when I still stayed in his room.

"Woah, so this is how you smell!" Tom exclaimed as soon as he entered my room. He sniffed here and there, making my expression fell watching his behavior.

"I couldn't smell anything back then, but now I'm glad I'm still alive." He grinned innocently.

I sighed. If he put it that way, how could I have the heart to scold him?

I sat down on my bed. "Stop it. You look like a pervert doing that." I said it softly.

Tom grinned and squated in front of me. His hands grabbed my hands and kissed them softly. "All the things that I couldn't do to you back then, I will make sure to do it now. I don't care what other people say as long as I have you with me." He said gently.

Thump! How many times did he want to make my heart raced? d.a.m.n it!

"What did you two talk about? You and Sanji, I mean."

"Oh, we just had an agreement. That's all. About the content, you better not know it. After all, having one more person to protect you can set my heart at ease. Not that I can't protect you, but after hearing where you plan to go, I just can't help but feel worried. Only after all of these finish, we will let you choose. For now, even though I don't like it, you will have us at your sides to protect you and to love you." Tom tightened his grasp on my hands gently, as if he wanted to make sure I understood what he said.

How could I not understand? Didn't it mean that I would have two boyfriends? Hahaha. What? Did I have my own harem now? Hahaha.

Of course, my expression was still stoic as ever. I didn't show the amus.e.m.e.nt I felt in my expression. I could only choose when I got my father back, right? I knew what he meant. Sanji must have told him about my missing father.

To be honest, I still didn't have any news about how my father was. But, it didn't mean I would give up. Since my army was complete, and I had upgraded my ability, it would only a matter of time before I started on my journey to get my father back.

I had Sanji and Tom on my sides and Siji and the White Army as my support. What else I needed to have? For now, I just needed to make sure I had pa.s.sed Siji's standard in the upcoming test he held for me.

"I have another thing to ask, actually." He looked at me with his fake seriousness this time. "Do you still remember what I said back then at that time?"
