d.a.m.n it! Why was he feeling so dizzy?

Facing Lu Wenchen's extremely cold gaze, Gu Yuanyuan s.h.i.+vered on her mind as she felt the gooseb.u.mps run over her body. If by any chance that this pervert was still conscious after what she had done, then, won't this man tear her into pieces?

"You…" Lu Wenchen couldn't finish his impending words as his body started to wobble and fell into the ground.

As she saw this sight before her, Gu Yuanyuan breathed a sigh of relief and hastily examine Lu Wenchen's nose to check his breathing, if he's alive or not. She couldn't help slapping him on his face just to make sure he's really unconscious. But, as a result, she felt the pain in her hand as it soon turned red and, she just decided to give up.

 "I didn't think that it would too easy."

Gripping the belt tightly with her small hands, Gu Yuanyuan dragged Lu Wenchen's muscular and heavy body all the way to the bed, and with all her force, she shoved him on it. She carefully picked up the broken shards as she kept paying attention to the door.

Judging the two men in black outside, she guessed that since those two were Lu Wenchen's subordinates, they definitely knew about their boss' temper, and certainly would not dare to disturb him, just staying outside. In addition to it, this whole ward had a top-notch soundproof system, and considering that the door was shut closed, the people outside would not know what was happening inside.

After finis.h.i.+ng all the things she had to do, Gu Yuanyuan was dreadfully tired and all sweaty. But even so, she did not stay long to rest instead, she had to take this opportunity to quickly leave. She turned over to the drawer, hurriedly ransacked its contents, and there, she found a lot of cash which she immediately took.

The two men in black firmly stood at each side of the door, one on the left and one on the right. When they saw the girl coming out of the room, they were slightly bewildered.

As she met their stunned look, Gu Yuanyuan kindly smiled at them. The eyes of two men in black had blinked in astonishment while she, on the other hand, hastily said: "Third Master was already tired, and he fell asleep so, I will go find him some doctor to check his health."

The man in black on the right side, discreetly glance through the gap of the door. Discovering a human-shaped bulge on the bed, he nodded to his companion as if secretly communicating. Then, the one on the left side adamantly said: "Miss Gu, I will go with you."

Gu Yuanyuan just nodded at his uncalled offer. She did not refuse to let him follow because he might be suspicious.

While the two people walked together, one after the other, Gu Yuanyuan was still pondering how to deal with man in black who was very persistent to tail on her. At the present time, a large group of medical personnel was rus.h.i.+ng over, pus.h.i.+ng a hospital cart on their line of path. "Make a way! Make a way!"

A loud clamor and a commotion were going on around. And on the top of the hospital cart, there laid a wounded man covered with a lot of blood. A large number of clothes draped over both sides of the bed probably, to prevent the blood from oozing out.

At this point of time, if she didn't escape, when will she have the next chance?

In the middle of chaos, Gu Yuanyuan didn't run to the outside, but instead, she hurriedly entered and squeezed herself at the lower compartment of the hospital cart. She hid herself with the cl.u.s.ter of clothes draping both sides of it as if a make-s.h.i.+ft curtain.

When she got inside, her foot unexpectedly hit the railing, and she almost cried out in pain.

A doctor yelled anxiously: "Doctor Gu! This wounded person was injured by a steel bar and was penetrated by it. He was suffering from too much blood loss. He was currently in s critical condition. You must immediately perform the surgery!!"

Dr. Gu's voice was very calm as he ordered: "Move him inside."

She realized that she might be inside the operating room.

Gu Yuanyuan heard a creaking sound on the top of her head. Naturally, the sound came from doctors and nurses who were working together to operate the wounded man on the operating table. Through the gap between the drapes, she could see the legs of the medical personnel, moving around.

She was silently thinking: 'I should just stay here for a while and wait for this bed to be pushed out. Then, that's when I will take my chance to leave.'

She didn't know if the situation was critically bad or something but, all she knew was that the cart she was currently in, had been circling around the operating room, and that no one had ever pushed it out.

Soon after, the steel bar was taken out from the injured man, and Gu Yuanyuan heard the people constantly praising the Head Surgeon, Dr. Gu.

"The patient had no internal bleeding. Dr. Gu was really amazing."

"If it wasn't for Dr. Gu, I am afraid this man won't survive as it was very impossible to save him at first."

"To meet Dr. Gu, it's probably not his unlucky day."

With an aloof voice, Dr. Gu coldly said: "For the final cleanup and suture (st.i.tching), Dr. Yu, I'd leave it in your care."

"All right, all right. I will take care of it." Dr. Yu promptly said in affirmation.

Dr. Gu took of his b.l.o.o.d.y gloves and tossed them aside. His eyes glanced over the cart, and he decided to pull the cart out of the operating room.

 "They're already gone, you can come out now."

A drowsy Gu Yuanyuan suddenly quivered from nervousness. Was she discovered?

She slowly lifted the drapes up and hesitatingly went out.

"I don't care who you are or, why on earth are you hidi—" Dr. Gu's voice abruptly stopped midway as he was surprised when she looked at her face.

Coincidentally, a nurse rushed over him and, said: "Dr. Gu, the director is asking for your attendance."

Gu Yuanyuan just hurriedly bowed her head down.

"Alright." Doctor Gu shortly answered.

The nurse was surprised as she when her eyes landed on Gu Yuanyuan. She could not believe it.

Dr. Gu was a legend in their hospital. Ever since he graduated and started his work, he had performed thousands upon thousands of surgical operations, may it be a small one or a large one. Many patients who were deemed by other doctors to be unsuccessful were transferred into his hands, and almost all of them had survived.

Every people knew that the legendary G.o.d of medicine was extremely cold, and it's also the reason why no woman could ever approach him.

So, what's going on? What is this situation now?

The nurse left with doubts on her head.

 "Thank you. I will be leaving now." Gu Yuanyuan bid her goodbye while still thinking that Dr. Gu was somewhat familiar to her. Worried that the pervert Lu Wenchen, who's still inside her ward, would wake up any minute now, she stopped herself pondering and quickly decided that it's better to leave the hospital first.

 "Since you are hiding from someone, you are not in a very good situation right now. You should go to my office and hide. It is safer there than out here."

A doctor, whom she had never met before, wanted to help her?

She hesitated for a moment and curiously asked: “Why do you want to help me? Are you not afraid that I might be a bad person?”

Dr. Gu's eyes rested on her face for a long time, his eyebrows were slightly twisted as if he was contemplating what the right words to say, then it faded, and he said: "You don't have anything worth plotting against me. I just helped you because…"

He paused for a bit and continued with a low voice. "You looked a lot like my dead mother."

Gu Yuanyuan. "…!!!"
