Chapter 1004: The Change in His Att.i.tude Happened So Suddenly, She Was Caught off Guard

Mo Liuxi looked at the man who quickly stood up from the couch. As he expected, the man had a very sour face.

He gave a small smile.

Who said that his sister wouldn’t be able to sleep at night?

Luosang walked out and saw Nian Junting in the living room. Her stretched arms froze in the air.

With a cold and tired face, Nian Junting walked toward Luosang. He didn’t sleep last night, yet, she slept so well. She wondered why she got married.

Mo Liuxi worried they might have a fight, so he hurriedly stood before Luosang.

“Move.” Nian Junting coldly stared at Luosang, who was standing behind her brother. “Do you regret marrying me now?”

Luosang paused briefly, then stayed silent.

If she said no, she would be losing the fight, and he would be happy. If she said yes, her marriage would be facing a real problem, and the relations.h.i.+p between the two of them would be affected in a bad way.

Nian Junting regretted asking the question. What should he do if she said yes? He never thought about ending his marriage.

Standing between them, Mo Liuxi frowned and said, “I think you two need to sit down and talk. After all, you haven’t been married long.”

“He’s right.” Nian Junting sighed with relief. For the first time, he felt that Mo Liuxi wasn’t annoying. “So you can go out, and your sister and I will talk.”

“You guys can talk in her room. This is my apartment, so why would I leave?” Mo Liuxi said, then turned and walked into the kitchen.

He was actually worried the fight might become intense. If that happened, he couldn’t leave Luosang there alone with Nian Junting.

Nian Junting knitted his eyebrows, then dragged Luosang into her room.

Once in, he put a flower into Luosang’s hands and said, “I admit that I’ve been too strict with you. I just wanted you and the baby to be healthy. You’re pregnant. I worry that you might have an accident, and that unhealthy food might give you cancer. I heard that during the past few years, a couple of my employees died from cancer. Our lives can be short when we’re together, but if you’re not with me, my life would be too long to live. I just can’t stand the possibility that you might die before me.”

Luosang’s eye sockets warmed slightly. She wanted to throw herself into his arms, but she didn’t let that happen. “I understand what you mean,” she said. “I didn’t care so much about my health when I was alone, but now, for you and the baby, I will take good care of myself. I can reduce the number of times I eat out, but you can’t forbid me from doing it. You can’t decide what I do and think. Also, when we were at home, you always made me do things that I don’t want to do. Junting, sometimes, I felt tired. You are so bossy that you don’t listen to my advice. I’m really tired. I have no s.p.a.ce for myself, and I don’t like a life like that.”

Nian Junting was stunned.

He didn’t know his happy life was actually like that in Luosang’s eyes.

“Junting, can you please listen to me? I won’t eat out every day, but we can do it once a week. I don’t like anti-j.a.panese war dramas, so please don’t make me watch those. I want to take as many cla.s.ses as possible, while I can still walk. There are many things that we can negotiate. If you don’t want to do that, I think… we need some time apart to calm down and figure out what we really want,” Luosang said.

Nian Junting’s heart instantly sank.

They were parted once, and that was already unbearable for him. If that happened again, he would suffer even more.

“It’s no big deal. You just want me to listen to you, right? Okay, let’s do that. In fact, that’s why I came here.” Nian Junting hurriedly said to her, “We are men, you know. Men are supposed to listen to their wives.”

Luosang didn’t know what to say.
