So Pang Lim drank another gla.s.s. Seeing the gla.s.s was empty, Yu Qi poured another drink into So Pang Lim's gla.s.s. 

"Thank you, Yu Qi." So Pang Lim smiled as she thanked Yu Qi. She then continued her story. "I am in the whip end. I want to resign from my work but I can not. I have expenses to pay."

"How about your relations.h.i.+p with your co-workers? Is that okay?" Mei Lilli asked.

"Well, no. Because they are afraid of losing their work if they get closer to me." So Pang Lim sighed.

"Do you really want to quit?" Yu Qi asked.

"Yeah." So Pang Lim lifted up her eyes when she heard the question from Yu Qi."

Yu Qi, are you going to hire me?"

"Well, I can not hire you to Tang Private Hospital. If you want, you need to go through the interview process. And I don't have the authority to hire you. I am sorry." Yu Qi shook his head.

So Pang Lim became down again. 

"However, if you consider changing careers, I can help you." Yu Qi added.

"What do you mean by that?" So Pang Lim asked.

"Your minor is dermatology, right?" Yu Qi asked for confirmation.

"Yeah. What's about it?" So Pang Lim nodded?

"You should know that Qi Qi Skincare Brand is mine. I want to hire a researcher for my Research and Development Department." Yu Qi stated.

Hearing that, So Pang Lim looked straight at Yu Qi. "Can we discuss more about that?"

Yu Qi smiled. "Sure." 

Both of them moved to the corner of the room and started to discuss the hiring. Even though So Pang Lim already drunk a lot of alcohol, she was still sober. She could discuss this properly with Yu Qi.

Their friends laughed about this. They did not mind much. They were hoping that both of their friends could conclude a happy end for both of them. After one hour of negotiation, Yu Qi and So Pang Lim finished discussing things. 

Yu Qi already took note of the terms that So Pang Lim wanted inside their contract. So Pang Lim also agreed with Yu Qi's terms. 

"I will ask my lawyer to draft the contract for you. When are you going to come and sign the contract?" Yu Qi asked.

"I will sign them the day after tomorrow. Is that okay?" So Pang Lim stated.

"Sure. I don't have any problem. I will ask my lawyer to draft the contract right away. However, you need to come to FINN City to sign the contract. Is it fine for you?" Yu Qi asked.

"I will be okay. I will come over." So Pang Lim nodded.

"Then, come to Qinyue Group Headquarters at 4 p.m." Yu Qi checked her schedule and found an empty slot. 

"Yes, Chairman Tang." So Pang Lim called Yu Qi by her t.i.tle.

"Wow, you really want to quit your job." Song Ha Ting said.

"Of course. I could not stand anymore working there. It is too toxic to me." So Pang Lim seemed much happier compared to herself earlier.

So Pang Lim calculated in her mind. She would go and submit her resignation letter and 24-hour notice to her current workplace tomorrow. The sooner the better. She would use her paid leave at once. She needed to clean up the apartment that she rented and told the owner that she wanted to end the lease. Oh, she also needed to find a house at FINN City for her to rent. 

Yu Qi also felt satisfied that she could hire a researcher for her company. She knew how So Pang Lim was. Even though So Pang Lim seemed to be a lazy person, she was very good at her job.

They continued to have fun until late at night. Long Hui called her asking where she was right now. She told him honestly that she was still at Rose Nightclub. Long Hui also asked if she had taken the sober pill. She chuckled as she told him that she already took that. Long Hui ended the call after he was satisfied with the answer.

"Wow, Yu Qi's boyfriend does some checks on his girlfriend. He must be so worried about you." Song Ha Ting said.

"He just worried that I went drunk. He asked if I had already taken the sober pill or not." Yu Qi coughed to cover her embarra.s.sment. 

"Well, Yu Qi's boyfriend has a point. Yu Qi would be drunk with only one sip." Mei Lilli nodded.

"Guys, can you not talk about this anymore?" Yu Qi pretended to be angry.

"Okay... Okay... Guys, let's go back. It is already late." Ding Na An said.

"I will go and make the payment. You guys can go first." Yu Qi said.

"It is okay. We go together." Yun Xiao said.

It was the nightclub. Even though it was the prestige one, it was still a nightclub. They needed to be careful. So, they went to go and settle the payment. 

After settling the payment, they headed to the entrance. The security who guarded the entrance nodded to Yu Qi. Yu Qi knew back. It must be Liang Mo Han told them about her. Well, it was a great feeling. 

So Pang Lim was horribly drunk. She went from down to high after getting scouted by Yu Qi. She repeatedly says thank you to Yu Qi for giving her a job. She was very delighted about that. She would not wait to start working with Yu Qi.
