Chapter 1767 1767: Injured

Long Hui requested a body checkup. Yu Qi wanted to refuse but Long Hui insisted. In the end, Yu Qi gave up and did as Long Hui wanted.

When the result was out, it turned out Yu Qi indeed had some injuries. Two of her ribs were broken. 

Hearing this result, Long Hui frowned. In his mind, he regretted not beating the evil cultivator enough. 

The doctor suggested that Yu Qi get admitted for about two days before leaving. Yu Qi did not want to waste her time in the hospital, but Long Hui insisted. 

So, they spent their time at the hospital. Her brother, Tang Jin Wei found out about this matter when one of his friends who was also a doctor working at the same hospital where Yu Qi was informed Tang Jin Wei about that. 

Tang Jin Wei was surprised to hear the news and quickly called Yu Qi to ask about her condition. 

When Tang Jin Wei suddenly called her asking about her condition, she did not know what to say. Long Hui s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone and talked to Tang Jin Wei directly.

He admitted his fault for not taking care of Yu Qi properly. Then he went silent and listened to everything that Tang Jin Wei said to him. 

Yu Qi did not want him to get scolded. She wanted to s.n.a.t.c.h her phone back. However, the conversation had already ended, and Long Hui also ended the call. 

"I am sorry." Yu Qi said.

"It is okay... I don't mind getting scolded by your family." Long Hui said.

"But it is not your fault." Yu Qi sighed.

"If you think that it is your fault, then just rest and get better." Long Hui said.

The doctor checked Yu Qi again before she could be discharged from the hospital. The doctor was shocked to see how fast Yu Qi's injuries were healed. 

A normal human's body could take about 6 weeks to heal. But Yu Qi only took two whole days to heal.

Yu Qi knew why she was healed faster than normal people. It was probably because she is a cultivator. A cultivator's body healed a lot faster. 

The doctor wanted to know more about Yu Qi's body. So, he wanted her to stay over. It seems he did not know much about Yu Qi. 

However, Long Hui refused. Since his beloved Qi Qi already healed, there was no need for her to stay at the hospital anymore. 

The doctor told Yu Qi that she could help a lot of people if she stayed there. Yu Qi told the doctor who treated her that she was also a doctor. She also could help a lot of people by herself. 

In the end, the doctor gave up. One of his friends who was also a doctor told him that his patient was Doctor Tang Yu Qi who received awards for her research. 

That doctor was Yu Qi's fan for her research. He read a lot of Yu Qi's research. He did not believe that he just did not recognize her at all. Well, even though he was her fan, he did not pay much attention to Yu Qi's look. That's why he did not recognise her in the first place. 

Yu Qi and Long Hui followed the update about the kidnap case. The police already arrested several people including the men that Yu Qi and Long Hui caught at the scene. 

It seems they were from an organization but on a small scale. The boss of the men was the one that Yu Qi caught. 

Only he knew to call the evil cultivator. Since s.h.i.+no already messed up his memory, the police could not get more information from the men. 

From what they had confessed, they were the ones behind the recent missing people case. They kept a record of the people that they kidnapped. 

When the police saw this, they asked the boss the way to contact the person who they had the deal with. The boss kept telling the police that only that person could call him. He could not do anything. So, the police kept and observed his phone all the time. 

As for the girl who was safe from the kidnap, her family already thanked Yu Qi and Long Hui for saving their daughter's life. They were quite wealthy. So, they wanted to pay Yu Qi and Long Hui some money. 

Their other daughter recognized Yu Qi and Long Hui. So, she told her parents that Yu Qi and Long Hui did not need their money since they were already rich. Probably even richer than themselves.

Long Hui and Yu Qi returned home. Tang Jin Wei told the family about the incident. So, her family urged her to come home. So that they could look at her. 

Yu Qi told them that she was already feeling okay, but they did not believe her. She could not help but to obey and return home. 

Tang Han Lee told her to come to the hospital first. Everyone also agreed with that. It was better to check Yu Qi's condition. 

Yu Qi just followed his request and got a check-up. The result showed that she was healing faster. 

Her family was relieved to see the result. Meaning Yu Qi was telling the truth. Tang Jin Wei's friend probably exaggerated when he told Tang Jin Wei about that.

They did not know that Tang Jin Wei's friend was telling the truth, but Yu Qi was healed after two days.
