After calling Quan Hou Chi, Bai Gu Wen called her brother, Bai Xia Fang to inform him that her daughter already agreed to the invitation. Yes, Bai Gu Wen contacted Quon Hou Chi under Bai Xia Fang's order. It was not like she wanted to contact her daughter.

He told his secretary to book a 5-star Michelin restaurant in the FINN City for the dinner. Since Quon Hou Chi was in the FINN City, they would make a trip over there. Bai Xia Fang contacted Bai Gu Wen back to inform her about the date and place. So, Bai Gu Wen wanted to call Quon Hou Chi to inform her about the dinner. Then, she remembered that Quon Hou Chi told her not to contact her anymore, and just messaged her about the date and the place for the dinner. Bai Xia Fang told Bai Gu Wen not to p.i.s.s out her daughter in case, Quon Hou Chi did not want to attend the dinner. So, Bai Gu Wen did not care to make Quon Hou Chi angry. She messaged the date and place to Quon Hou Chi. She told her daughter to reply to her so that, she knew that her daughter received and read the message. Not long after that, Bai Gu Wen received a reply from Quon Hou Chi telling her mother that she understood. Quan Hou Chi told her father about the dinner while they were eating dinner. "Your mother is so generous to treat you to dinner at the expensive restaurant." Quon De Bei smiled.

"Hmm... Well, I think something else might happen during the dinner." Quon Hou Chi said.

"Don't be so negative about your mother. She probably wants to have some bonding time with you." Quon De Bei advised.

"As if I would believe her." Quon Hou Chi rolled her eyes.

Quon De Bei sighed. His daughter hated her mother. He could not say more than this because it was Bai Gu Wen's own doing to make her own flesh and blood hate her so much. ....

The time for the arranged dinner arrived. Quon Hou Chi just wore normal clothes that she wore each other to go to work. It was anything fancy. She already double-checked the restaurant on the way. She arrived at the restaurant. She did not expect to see her colleague, another colleague, not Song Roulan, a male, here too. His name was Wei Huang.

"Miss Quon, what are you doing?" Wei Huang asked.

"Well, I have an appointment with my mother to eat dinner here." Quon Hou Chi replied.

When they wanted to continue the conversation again, a voice made them stop. "Hou Chi, you are here." Bai Gu Wen who was wearing high-end clothes greeted Quon Hou Chi. "Hmm..." Quon Hou Chi replied.

"Who is this?" Bai Gu Wen asked while looking at Wei Huang.

"He is one of my colleagues. Surname Wei. Mr Wei, this is my mother." Quon Hou Chi introduced both of them.

"h.e.l.lo, Madam Quon, nice to meet you." Wei Huang greeted Bai Gu Wen said.

"Please don't call me Madam Quon. I already divorce her father." Bai Gu Wen said. "Oh... I am sorry." Wei Huang quickly apologized.

"Mum... Mr Wei, I am sorry." Quon Hou Chi apologized to Wei Huang.

"It's okay." Wei Huang waved his hands.

"What? Why are you getting angry at me? I am just saying the right time." Bai Gu Wen did not think she was wrong.

She was indeed divorced from Quon De Bei. It was not good to being call Madam Quon. "Mr Wei, we will go first. Excuse me." Quon Hou Chi pulled her mother's hand and left Wei Huang. After they were far away from Wei Huang, Quon Hou Chi let her mother's hand go. "Why are you getting angry?" Bai Gu Wen asked.

"Nothing." Quon Hou Chi did not want to talk to Bai Gu Wen.

"By the way, who is he? Your new boyfriend?" Bai Gu Wen was kind of interested in Wei Huang.Wei Huang.

"I don't even have my first boyfriend. How can I have a new boyfriend? I am not like you. Even if you were still married, you still have your boyfriend, right?" Quon Hou Chi said to Bai Gu Wen sarcastically.

"You... How could you say something like that to your own mother?" Bai Gu Wen was angry to hear that.
