They were curious why her phone kept receiving the phone from someone.

"What do you want this time?" Quan Hou Chi asked.

"Oh... it is rare that you answer right after I call you." Bai Gu Wen said.

"Stop this care and tell me what you want. I am busy you know. Unlike you just have a lot of time doing nothing." Quan Hou Chi said.

"You..." Bai Gu Wen was kind of speechless right now after being ridiculed by her daughter.

"So, what do you want?" Quan Hou Chi said, forcing Bai Gu Wen to state her purpose of calling her right now.

"Well, I want to have dinner with my daughter. I have not met you for such a long time." Bai Gu Wen began her act.

Quan Hou Chi felt s.h.i.+vering behind her back when she heard her mother talking like that. "Sure... I agree. When do you want to have dinner with me?" Quan Hou Chi agreed right now.

Bai Gu Wen was surprised when her daughter agreed to her invitation. Usually, her daughter would reject her invitation.

"You agree to have dinner with me?" Bai Gu Wen could not have to ask her daughter one more time for confirmation. "Of course, I agree. Recently, you have been called me for dinner. It is getting annoying. So, I think why not just agree on your invitation at once." Quan Hou Chi said.

She strongly expressed her dislike toward Bai Gu Wen. "So, when are we going to have dinner together, then?" Quan Hou Chi asked. "Oh... I will call you later about the time." Bai Gu Wen stated. "Just message me the time and place. No need to call me about that." Quan Hou Chi said.

"Okay... okay... I will message you later." Bai Gu Wen said

She was happy to achieve her aim to invite Quan Hou Chi. She would tolerate Quan Hou Chi's rudeness for now. After ending the call, Quan Hou Chi sighed. At least, she would not receive annoying calls from her mother for the time being. "Another call?" Her colleague, Song Ruolan asked after seeing Quan Hou Chi ma.s.sage her nose bridge. "Hmm..." Quan Hou Chi nodded.

"Who is that person?" Song Roulan asked, curious about that person.

"It is my mother." Quan Hou Chi said. "Your mother? That is a surprise. So, you don't get along well with your mother." Song Roulan nodded several times.

"Yeah. I am closer to my father." Quan Hou Chi said.

"I just want to ask, no offense. Are your mother and father divorced?" Song Roulan asked.

"Yeah." Quan Hou Chi nodded.

If this question had been asked by other people to the younger Quon Hou Chi, she might have been sad. Now, Quan Hou Chi did not think it was that bad. A lot of people divorced this. Even a married couple who had been married for years could not divorce. Well, not everyone, of course.
