She did not know what to feel when a cat looked at her like she was an idiot. Neko-chan began her journey looking at the outside world without her Master's accompany. The thing was fine until he pa.s.sed kindergarten. A boy saw Neko-chan. He started to pick up a stone and threw that stone to Neko-chan. Neko-chan was startled as she detected a danger coming toward her. She avoided the stone by jumping over it. She turned around and saw a grinning boy. "Wow... That is awesome. Do it again, s.h.i.+hong." Another boy encouraged the boy with s.h.i.+hong's name. They were amazed by Neko-chan's high jump. They wanted to see more so, they shouted for that boy to throw the stone again at Neko-chan.

Neko-chan understood the talk. She was hissing angrily to the boys. She remembered her Master's order that she should not talk to other human beings, especially not in public. Otherwise, she could be caught. So, she just could hissing. The s.h.i.+hong boy was not afraid of Neko-chan. He started to pick up another stone and threw the stone again to Neko-chan. Once again, Neko-chan jumped avoiding the stone. This time, she jumped near the boys. She jumped at s.h.i.+hong boy and scratched the boy's arm. Neko-chan then jumped again distancing herself from the boys. She licked her paws proudly while looking at the boy.

The s.h.i.+hong boy who just got scratched by Neko-chan looked at the scratch mark. The blood was coming out. Only then, did the s.h.i.+hong boy start to cry.  The other boys looked at s.h.i.+hong and backed off. An adult, probably their teacher came over after she heard the cry.

"What is going on here?" The teacher asked while calming up the crying boy.

"Teacher, a cat did that to s.h.i.+hong." One of the boys started to talk to the teacher while pointing at Neko-chan. The teacher looked at the cat. She wondered why the cat was there. She believed there were no cats around because the kindergarten management already asked the city management to come over to catch the stray cats. The parent told kindergarten management to do so because they were afraid of the disease that was being carried by the stray cat. The teacher then saw the tag around Neko-chan's neck. That meant it was not a stray cat. The cat also looked clean. It was probably fine. "Teacher, he threw a stone to the cat. That is why the cat became angry and scratched his hand." A girl told the teacher what actually happened.
