Ming Xuehai looked at the unconscious girl. He could feel the heat from this girl. She was burning out. He lifted her up and brought her to the hospital. She was brought to the ER department.

The doctor checked on Fu Jinjing. She had a fever and needed to be warded for a night for observation. Seeing Fu Jinjing lying down like this made Ming Xuehai's heart hurt. He went out. When he left the ward, Ming Xuehai saw Yu Qi walking down the corridor. Yu Qi was also surprised to see Ming Xuehai there.

"What are you doing here?" Yu Qi asked. "I sent someone to the ER and she had been warded." Ming Xuehai said.

"Why?" Yu Qi asked again.

"It seems she is having a fever and does not notice it. She fainted. So, I brought her here." Ming Xuehai explained.

"I see. So, she is in this ward?" Yu Qi smiled.

"Hmm..." Ming Xuehai nodded.

Yu Qi opened the door and sneaked a peek inside. She could see a cute yet pale girl laying down on the bed receiving the IV drip. She closed the door back and turned around at Ming Xuehai while smiling.

Ming Xuehai looked at Yu Qi who was smiling with a weird expression. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"She is a cute one. Who is she?" Yu Qi asked.

Ming Xuehai coughed once. "She is one of the employees of our law firm." "Owh... I see." Yu Qi grinned.

"Don't look at me with that weird expression." Ming Xuehai sighed.

"Why are you not feeling anything seeing such a cute girl like her?" Yu Qi said.

Ming Xuehai did not respond to the question. That made Yu Qi smile even wider.

"I see... I see... I will not disturb you. But I hope you can share with me when you succeed in getting the girl." Yu Qi smiled. Ming Xuehai just could smile while sighing after seeing Yu Qi leave. Having a boss who liked to snoop around her employees's love life was quite tiring. Ming Xuehai entered the ward again. He could see that Fu Jinjing was still asleep. Her face was not pale again. He sighed in relief.

Fu Jinjing felt very comfortable. She felt that she did not want to wake up. She tried to grab her doll to hug. But her hand did not find the doll. Her hand touched something else. It was hairy. She quickly opened her eyes and looked at the hairy thing. She almost shouted at the top of her lungs when she saw the person who sleeping in the corner of her bed. It was her big boss. Why is Big Boss here in my room? Fu Jinjing thought. Then, she looked around and noticed that this was not her room. It looked like a hospital ward. The smell was the evidence. She wondered why she was in the hospital in the first place and why Ming Xuehai was here with her. Ming Xuehai felt the movement and opened his eyes. He saw Fu Jinjing freeze up looking at him. He stood up and reached out to Fu Jinjing's forehead. He touched it. The fever was gone after a night's sleep. Ming Xuehai did not know that Fu Jinjing was shocked after seeing her big boss touch her forehead. "It seems your fever is gone. But to make sure, let's call a doctor to check it." Ming Xuehai said. He was oblivious to Fu Jinjing's mental state. He called the doctor. The doctor arrived and checked Fu Jinjing's condition. The doctor told them that Fu Jinjing had recovered well and she could go home. The doctor also told her to get a day's rest before returning to work. Hearing this, Ming Xuehai also provided her leave. He even offered Fu Jinjing to send her home. Fu Jinjing wanted to refuse but Ming Xuehai insisted. So, since Fu Jinjing could not refuse, she allowed Ming Xuehai to take her home.

"Thank you, Bi... I mean Mr Ming." Fu Jinjing said.

When she was about to get out of the car, Ming Xuehai stopped her.

"Wait a minute." Ming Xuehai said.

Fu Jinjing stopped moving while her hand was on the handle of the car door. "Yes, Mr Ming?" Fu Jinjing turned and looked at Ming Xuehai.

"I noticed something when you want to address me. You seemed to want to say something else before addressing me as Mr Ming." Ming Xuehai said.

Fu Jinjing looked away from Ming Xuehai. "You must imagine things." "Really?" Ming Xuehai looked narrowly at Fu Jinjing.

Fu Jinjing's stare became wary. Ming Xuehai kept staring at her until she gave up.

"Big Boss." Fu Jinjing said.

"What?" Ming Xuehai did not get it.

"I am calling you Big Boss." Fu Jinjing said. She then continued. "We are done, right? I will go first." With that, she swiftly opened the car door and jumped out of the car. Ming Xuehai who left inside the car was stunned at first. Then, a faint smile appeared on his lips. 'How cute.' That was what he thought looking at the running Fu Jinjing. After noticing that he was smiling, he coughed once and drove the car leaving Fu Jinjing's house. Since he was taking care of Fu Jinjing in the hospital yesterday, he still wore the same clothes as yesterday. So, he planned to go home first, take a shower and change his clothes before going back to the company.
