This wasn't much of a problem for the commoner people who were saved but for those arrogant and narrowminded people, the thought that they would be treated the same as the likes of your average joe was frustrating.

So when these guys saw the military personnel they thought of this as a chance. They had been part of the upper cla.s.s before the apocalypse and some had connections to people within the government and some even the military if they were to play their cards correctly they believed that the government, if not destroyed, would come to save them.

They had the delusion that the disaster wasn't too big of a problem because if even these groups of survivors were able to deal with the Zombies easily then the military will deal with the situation swiftly and that it was only a matter of time before they would get back to their old life.

But this was naturally a misconception caused by there lack of information.

In the past 5 days, they saw how their group secured buildings after buildings easily with only the help of some guns and some melee weapons. So they believed that the military with all the high tech equipment they had would be able to easily deal with the Zombies.

Thus they were thinking up all kinds of ways to get in contact with some people they knew through using these military scouts.

A discrete group started to form between some of these higher cla.s.s people from the past.

I had my people invite the 10 military scouts into the checkpoint which was to check for any injuries and infections.

This was to make sure that the people they let into the safe zone we created didn't turn into zombies and start creating trouble.

Those infected would naturally be asked to wait in a room of patients and those who past the checks would be given a Visa card which would allow them into the safe zone I created for 15 days.

I created this system to check for any infected people who could possibly become a liability if they came into my safe zone.

The checkup consisted of 3 steps. The first was to check for injuries. The second was to check for any symptoms of fever or illness. The third was checking their blood using a magic device I exchanged from the Dungeon.

These were the general 3 steps all survival bases in the future created for there bases safety.

The larger bases had created even more steps just to ensure that their bases were completely safe from any infected entering there areas.

I also created the visa system to prevent the people who came into my base from becoming lazy.

The Visa system works like a bank card as well.

I exchanged from my dungeon an item called Status Identification Crystal.

This is also the 3rd step in the checkup process.

To create this Visa card one needs to have the blood of the person. This identification card has a time limit for which the people can be allowed to stay in the camp without working. There is a total of 15 days on there right now meaning that after 15 days the card will expire and the person who is the holder of the card will be expelled from the town.

The crystal can also trace the location of the card so even if a person was to try and hide in our town we could find them as long as they have the card in their hands.

If they don't have the card and were to trash it then it's going to make there life miserable. For those without the card will not be able to receive work, food, trade for goods, or even find a place to live. To do all this they need to register there using their cards. Even if they have a good friend who would let them stay I don't imagine they would pay for them indefinitely while the guy leeches off of them for there whole life.

Meaning you can only stay inside my survival base if you have a Status card. But if you have it you can be easily tracked. If you abandon the card you're going to have a hard time living in my base.

The 15-day limit is the amount of time one has before they have to leave. But this time limit is able to be extended through buying more time. 1 week equals 100 evolution crystal which is quite a large expense or you can even call it robbery. Or you can join the base defense military and earn yourself military citizens.h.i.+p. I basically did this to force the guys who join my base to turn into military personnel.

This was also what caused some of the guys who joined me to have a negative impression of me though...

But after the first month of the Apocalypse when everyone gets used to it and when the outside world becomes much more dangerous all the people will be scrambling to find ways to join me.

After the military personnel pa.s.sed all the tests I had them loaded into my golem vehicle and sped off towards the Confucius plaza building.

While on the ride over I didn't say anything to the 3 military scouts and rather just waited out the ride. This was because I already knew the purpose for which they came to Chinatown.

Rather than talking to them and giving them more information about me, I instead gave them the silent treatment.

I am the boss of this entire survival base rather than letting them get to know me I instead gave them the impression that I was hard to speak to make it so that they had to take me seriously.

For these are only scouts and not really the military commanders.

I already know what they have come here for which is precisely Manhattan Bridge.

I know that an army of about 500 men will be here in about 5 days time. But without my orders that bridge won't budge.
