He Xin soon experienced for himself Ning An's ability to go the wrong way even when following the navigation. The two of them walked round and round for a long time before finally returning to the dorms. The other two roommates had also arrived.

One was called Chen Siyu, a native of the Capital Star. He didn't looked too robust and was more or less the same as He Xin. The other was called w.a.n.g Yi. He came from a border planet. He was tall and strong, and his entire body emitted an unrestrained boldness.

The four of them started to chat after introducing themselves and adding each other in their terminals. Chen Siyu was far from handsome, but he knew a lot of gossip. In the beginning, he was still introducing the customs and culture of the Capital Star to the two foreign roommates. Later on however, the topic gradually deviated. Even Ning An was drawn in with interest.

“Did you know? It is said that in this military school, amongst the students in each year, there are a few Omegas mixed in. Also, there was once an Omega who hid so well that they weren't discovered until graduation.”

“Really?” He Xin had never heard of these things and seemed particularly interested. “Speaking of which, there are so many Alphas in this school. Their pheromones are also very strong. It would certainly be extremely difficult for an Omega to conceal themselves.” Today, when He Xin and Ning An pa.s.sed by the Alpha dormitory building, they both felt quite uncomfortable and hence walked a little faster.

“There's always some desperate people willing to take risks, most likely to prove themselves.” Chen Siyu shrugged. “They generally all study very hard, so even if they're discovered, there wouldn't be much of a problem.”

When w.a.n.g Yi heard this, he looked towards Ning An, who was sitting on the bed and swinging his legs.

“Why are you giving me that look?” Ning An felt a little helpless. “I am a bona fide Beta. If you don't believe me, then let's go take a bath together in the big bathhouse.”

“Sorry, because you look like……” w.a.n.g Yi also felt that his own behaviour was a little too obvious. Anyone would feel uncomfortable if they were doubted like this.

Ning An was even somewhat used to it and waved his hand. “The doctors in the physical examination aren't that easy to fool.”

“Right ah. Especially for our year.” Chen Siyu echoed in agreement and the topic then s.h.i.+fted onto the students in their batch. “Do you guys know Ning Xin Bo, one of the top ten entrepreneurs in the Federation? I heard that his son is also in our year.”

“Mr Ning is such a good man ah. He donated so many schools to our planet! I wonder what Young Master Ning is like?” He Xin's eyes were glistening. “Do you know which room he is staying in?”

“Would Young Master Ning be able to adapt to military school life?”

“I have something to say. That Young Master Ning is exactly the person who walked the wrong way and led you to go round and round the campus. That Young Master also feels that he can't adapt to life in the military school.” Ning An didn't know when he had become so famous. “Ning Xin Bo is my dad.”

Dorm B705 sunk into silence. Chen Siyu was the first to react, grabbing a piece of paper and rolling it up into a microphone. Bring it to Ning An's face, he asked, “Young Master Ning, are you willing to be interviewed?”

“I have the right to remain silent.” Ning An arrogantly raised his chin, but could only persist for a few seconds before breaking out into laughter. “I'm kidding. If you have any questions, just ask. Call me Ning An, what Young Master Ning.”

Chen Siyu also laughed. “Are you going to go back and inherit your family's a.s.sets if you don't study hard in military school?”

“I actually want to go back right now and inherit my family's a.s.sets ah. It's my dad who changed my aspirations, saying I need to temper my will. I had hoped that the doctors would mistakenly think I'm an Omega and not accept my admission.” Ning An shrugged. “However, since it's now like this, I should just accept it.”

“I hope my dear roommates can take good care of this weak, pitiful and helpless young master.” Ning An winked. “Besides me, there's also other students in our batch who are even more famous.”

“Yes, mhmm.” In fact, as military school students who want to work in the army, everyone paid a lot of attention to two other students. “General Fu Lan's son Fu Ke and the Liszt family's little n.o.ble Derek Liszt. They are the dream lovers of many Omegas. When I came here today, I saw many people holding up their name banners at the school gate.”

“Who are those two?” Who are they?” He Xin and Ning An asked at the same time. Two dumbfounded faces crowded in front of Chen Siyu, making him momentarily speechless.

“The two of you don't know?” w.a.n.g Yi also looked extremely shocked. “General Fu Lan is the number one female general in the Federation. The Liszt family is a famous military family. They basically all serve in the military.” He stressed again, “You two really don't know?”

The two of them simultaneously shook their heads, but then immediately nodded. “I know now.”

The arrangements for the next day had already been sent to each of their terminals. Ning An saw that ‘6:30~7:30' morning training time slot and was miserable for a long time. In the end, he silently shut his terminal. What he can't see won't bother him.

Early morning the next day however, he was still woken up by the sound of the . In a daze, he was dragged out of the building by He Xin to find their cla.s.s group. He didn't hear what the military instructor was saying, so he just followed everyone and started running around the grounds.

“How long have we run?” Ning An was quite uncertain as he pulled He Xin's arm. He was already gasping for breath. “How much longer do we have to run?”

“We've just started.” He Xin's breath was only a little fast. “I suppose we'll run for an hour.”

Hearing this, Ning An simply wanted to collapse. He once again pulled at He Xin's sleeve. “Good brother, if I happen to faint, don't let my head hit the ground. Also, remember to send me to the infirmary.”

Alphas and Betas were in separate groups, but they all ran together for the morning training. When Fu Ke arrived at the training grounds, he saw the supposed Omega he had b.u.mped into yesterday. With thin arms and legs, looking dispirited and yawning, Fe Ke felt that Ning An looked more and more like an Omega. It was said that in every year of military school, there would be a few of them hidden within. He really couldn't understand what this person was thinking.

“What are you looking at?” Derek also looked towards the direction Fu Ke was looking in. He first saw He Xin, who was cheering Ning An on, and only then saw Ning An stumbling along behind him. “Is the admission standard this year that low?”

“Not everyone is like the Liszt family's little prince, receiving military training since young.” Fu Ke looked at Ning An's swaying figure from the corner of his eyes. He considered that Ning An would likely give up after facing these kinds of difficulties.

“We're in the same boat.” Derek smiled and then started to concentrate on running.

Under He Xin's encouragement and support, Ning An finally finished running. Sitting beside the training ground, he felt like he was barely alive. Afterwards, when he reached the cafeteria and faced the long line in front of the service counter, he fell even more into despair. In the end, he bought a nutrition pack from the vending machine. Enduring the sticky texture, he swallowed it down.

“Have a steamed bun.” w.a.n.g Yi couldn't stand to watch him any longer. His own physical fitness was very good. After the morning training ended, he immediately rushed to the cafeteria to buy half a dozen steamed buns. Eating one less wouldn't be much of a problem.

“Thank you, but I don't need it.” The flavour of the nutrition pack was quite unpalatable. However, its effect was still pretty good. Ning An's complexion wasn't as pale as before. “I already drank a nutrition pack.”

“Fu, you seen to be very interested in that weak chicken.” Derek discovered that Fu Ke had once again looked over towards Ning An. He used his chopsticks to lightly tap the side of his bowl, attracting Fu Ke's attention.

“I should have already told you not to tap the bowl when you eat.” Just when Fu Ke saw Ning An frown and drink his nutrition pack, he heard that tapping sound. He then turned his head back to finish eating his breakfast. He also didn't forget to urge Derek, “Hurry up. In a moment, we still need to give a speech as first year representatives.”

“I know, Fu.” Derek also took note of Ning An. What was so special about him that made Fu Ke this interested?

Ning An completely didn't know that he was already being paid attention to. While waiting for w.a.n.g Yi to finish eating his breakfast, he listening to Chen Siyu's new findings and also carefully looked at the program for the school welcoming ceremony in his terminal.

“The headmaster speaks, the graduate representative speaks, the first year representatives speak……” Ning An rubbed his hair in annoyance. “How come it's all speeches? This will be so boring.”

“In the big a.s.sembly hall, you can sit.” He Xin seemed to think that the flavour of the nutrition pack was really novel. Slowly sipping it, he said, “Who knows. Ning An, you might be able to secretly sleep.”
