Liao Meiling thought for a moment before nodding her head with a complex expression.
“I see. Weiwei, Can I call you like this from now on?”
Ye s.h.i.+wei smiled and said, “Of course. I don't have many friends. But I feel a bonding when talking with you.”
It was for sure that Ye flattered her deliberately.
It was all ground work for her another purpose.
“Sister Meiling, do you use Wechat? How about exchanging our contact information.”
“Ok.”
Then they both took out their phones and friended each other on Wechat.
“You can come to me whenever you need help in the future.” Liao Meiling said. “I'll just take you as my sister.”
Ye sighed with emotion for n.o.body's name except that of Mu Tingchen could have had such great magic as to make the princess of Family Liao in front of her, who was also a strong woman in the business field of City A, recognize her as her sister while they had barely talked.
“Sister Meiling, you're so nice. Then I presume I'd better accept your gracious offer! And, it's the same with you. Do not hesitate to tell me directly if you need my help. Although I'm just a little girl who doesn't even finish college, I can at least help put in a word in front of my uncle and find about his view for you.”
Ye straightforwardly offered her kindness in return, though it was because she thought Liao Meiling might know something about the case of her father's disappearance.
“Fine.”
And Liao's consent had undoubtedly lightened Ye's heart.
Knowing that the party still needed Mrs. Liao's presence, Ye parted her and started walking back into the hall.
But she felt light-headed and a little drunk now. She thought maybe it was because the “Long Island Iced Tea” she drank had begun to take effect.
Although not a drinker, she still couldn't believe a sip could make her drunk.
Could it be …
Ye rewound the scene of their conversation back in mind and couldn't help dreading some underlying danger unknown to her while things went so well according to her expectation.
It just went so well … that it seemed that someone was deliberately making this happen and letting her get exactly what she wanted.
Could Liao Meiling have seen through her already?
But then why did she take the patience to socialize with her instead of exposing her? What good would it do her to get her drunk?
Ye couldn't figure it out.
But Ye thought of only one thing at the moment, with the lights glimmering overhead and vague figures flas.h.i.+ng before her eyes.
She must at first find Mu Tingchen.
Now she had grown used to turning to him--the man who had accompanied her through all the latest difficulties--whenever there was trouble.
In a lot of dizziness, she finally caught sight of him not far away. But when she walked towards him, she already started feeling she didn't own her legs anymore.
“Uncle …”
Wobbly, she grabbed Mu's arm, threw her head on his shoulder, and spoke vaguely, “I feel bad.”
Mu frowned at the sight that she flushed badly in a state of intoxication while she wasn't winy at all.
He thought it possible that she had gone to the bar area disobediently and had her drink somehow spiced by some mischievous childes she drank with.
It was, though, a relief that she knew to come back to him before she was totally drunk.
When he thought of this, his tightened eyebrows relaxed a little.
He held his arms around her waist and directly picked her up.
And then he explained politely to the entrepreneurs he had been talking with.
“The little girl doesn't drink. Now that she's drunk, I've got to take her to the guest room to have a rest.”
“Mr. Mu treats his niece so well.”
“Yes, Miss Ye is so lucky.”
Thus Ye nestled in his chest and was brought away from all the noises. It didn't get completely quiet around until they entered the elevator.
Ye looked up in wooziness and saw his vague but perfect side face where there was full of coldness.
A feeling of l.u.s.t began to stir in her. It was like a stone had been thrown into her heart and totally unsettled her placid minds.
No matter whether it was alcohol or the spiced drug that had taken effect, Ye felt she could no longer bear to repress her true inner feeling.
She huddled in his arms and wanted it like this forever.
After getting out of the elevator, Mu took Ye to one VIP suite in the hotel upstairs. He had planned to return downstairs to pick up the discussion with those manufacturers after getting her to rest on bed.
But when he was preparing to leave after covering the quilt for her, he found his wrist firmly grasped by her little warm hand.
Turning around, he saw her huddling under the quilt with flushed cheeks and heard her murmuring while her eyes remained closed.
“Uncle, don't leave.”
“Uncle, I like you.”
Slightly stunned, Mu even thought he had misheard just now.
He moved around and squatted down beside her, meeting the warm and fragrant breath coming out of her nose.
He opened his mouth and asked her gently, “What did you say?”
“I said I like you.”
“Who do you like?”
“You.”
“Who am I?”
“Mu Tingchen.”
He kept asking her until he got the answer he wanted. At last, a satisfied smile full of happiness emerged around the corner of his mouth.
Although he had known for a long time that she would take the bait in the end, he still didn't expect such great bliss on hearing of her affections.
But he didn't have time to think about how happy he was at the moment, because he couldn't wait to climb on the bed and hold her into his arms.
Mu slid his hand inside from under the hem of her dress as if the thin dress she wore seemed nonexistent. It was boiling hot in there, and both of their bodies seemed to be on fire.
Ye, who was originally muddleheaded, became more feverish now in his arms.
She looked up and his face close at hand acted like cocaine and made her unable to contain herself any longer.
She leant in to him, and kissed on his cool lips.
She had never kissed anyone on her own initiative before, so her kissing was so bad that she b.u.mped against his teeth from time to time. The mixed taste of tobacco and wine in his mouth made her frown, but she was not getting enough yet and was reluctant to let go, so she continued to poke into his mouth stubbornly.
She was now like a crazy woman who had been depressed and short of s.e.x for too long.
It surprised Mu a bit, but after a brief trance he soon indulged himself more with making love to her. His desire was completely ignited, and he only wanted to f.u.c.k her hard at this moment.
Nevertheless, his every hard thrust in such a coincidental but deceptively serene night brought her piercing pain. It was like needles p.r.i.c.king her heart.
The thing happening between them was the unspeakable secret which could only lie hidden in the deep night. However, when they were totally immersed in their lovemaking, the door of the room was suddenly opened …
