The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 121 - 121 The Jealous Demon

Lexus was fuming with anger, almost as if there was steam coming out of his head. His whole face was red and his piercing blue eyes were glinting dangerously as if it can cut someone into half by a mere sight. It was too terrifying for one to see. 

a.s.sistant Yu gulped loudly as his shaking hands reached out from his pocket to get his handkerchief for him to wipe his cold sweat that was already forming a layer on his pale face. If anything, he felt like he does not want to see his young master's face anymore for it was just too terrifying that he may have nightmares from it.

October's eyes were clouded as she noticed the cold and deep silence from Lexus and wondered if she had unknowingly hurt him with her words. However, she already said it so she coud not take it back now. AS indifferent as she was, she also have a little pride of her own. 

Lexus gritted his teeth and his brows furrowed tightly. He was glaring into nothing while he was deep in thought. He bit his tongue and bitterly swallowed the words that he wanted to say about that b.a.s.t.a.r.d. His heaved a deep and sharp sigh as he rearranged his thoughts and push down his raging fury and jealousy. Despite the calm and indifferent personality of his wife, he now knew that his wife will retaliate if the people she cared about were being insulted. 

"But my wife..." Lexus felt so helpless as he slumped on his chair and run his fingers through his hair. She had already told him that that b.a.s.t.a.r.d is her friend and he believed her because a woman like October is not someone that would cheat on him. But he does not believe the guy that his wife labeled as "friend," especially since he still had not met the guy. 

October also sighed at her whining husband, who was like a jar…no, he was more like a big barrel of vinegar. It was really hard to believe that such a demon-like existence would act like this in order to just get the attention of his lover. It was really unexpected. If his employees, other than a.s.sistant Yu, what would their reaction be?

 Also, there was another concern October has but was hesitant to open it. Will she tell him now or later? But whenever it may be, she knew that his reaction would be the same. She just does not know to what extent it would be.

As she was still mulling over it, her phone vibrated in her hand, indicating that it was a message. She opened it up in curiosity and her brow rose when it was from Ma Rong.

It said that he can't call her because it seemed like her phone was busy and so decided to drop a message. Also, as she read further, she got to know that his flight got cancelled because of some issues with the weather and will be moved to 8 PM in the afternoon and will arrive at City D at as early as 6 or 7 AM. The other things that he said on his message were already labeled as "trash" for October and of no importance to her.

After replying to Ma Rong with a simple "Okay," she put her phone back on her ear and said casually, "You don't have to worry about. There really is nothing going on between me and Rong'er. Besides, I am already married to you and am already carrying your child. Will that not be enough to a.s.sure you?"

'No!' the abrupt answer that immediately came into Lexus' mind.

Lexus wanted to say this but stopped himself in doing so as it may anger his wife again. His wife was so radiant and gorgeous that she can turn heads as soon as she steps into the room, irregardless of gender and age. That's how wonderful his wife is. He took pride in it but it was also quite unpleasant to see them looking at his wife with infatuation clear in their eyes. He had already saw this when they went out to buy some groceries.

As Lexus remembered that moment, he was again filled his displeasure and had the urge to gouge their eyes out of their sockets.

"It's fine. I trust you." Lexus sighed. He truly trusts her, but not that b.a.s.t.a.r.d guy.

"I still have work to do so I'll hung up first." October said calmly and ended the call.

The matter with her going to tell Lexus that she will fetch Ma Rong the next day was already tossed at the back of her mind. She felt like a long time had already pa.s.sed since a lot of things had already happened but when she looked at her watch again, she was surprised to see that those things happened only in an hour.

Fortunately, it did not shake her drastically as she recovered instantly and recomposed herself to work. Her face was still slightly pale but aside from that, there does not seem to be any problem with her.

However, her face dropped when she noticed the error in the paper. The more she read, the more her frown deepened. Her hold of the doc.u.ment tightened, almost crumpling it up.

Do they think that she was a fool? That she won't be able to see this scheme that they were planning?

At the survey, out of 100 users/future buyers of their brand, 90 percent of those users have a positive feedback. This may be good for them; however, 90 percent is almost a hundred. Also, the cloth that those clothes were made of that were given to those people are new materials that they had just launched. The clothes were for free in exchange of their feedback. If something like this was really true and that the material was good, then the company will have an advantage and will be confident in using the cloth and launch in at a bigger scale. But something does not sit well with October.

As she read further, October then noticed the names listed on the survey. She felt bothered by it. There were names like Mu Xi, then Xi Mu, Ouyang Yu, Yu Yong, Feng Li, Li Fengxi. There were other names that have a lot of commonalities. Also, it does not take a bright mind to notice this unusual naming. Even a kid would notice this. If this was a coincidence, then isn't this too big of a coincidence?

No matter how she looked at it, this survey can raise everyone's brows. She could not believe that someone would really have the nerve of doing such deeds in front of her. It seemed like they underestimated her tremendously, because if they did not, then they would not have forwarded this "c.r.a.ppy" doc.u.ments to her. Somehow, this was almost an insult to her. It seemed like they forgot who they are dealing with.

Even if she was young in age, but that does not mean that her knowledge was lacking. To be presented of such paper, they really have the nerve in testing her like this. October then closed the bounded doc.u.ment with a dark look and placed it in her drawer. Since it's already come to this, then she will have to earnestly play along with them. Until Friday comes in which it will be their meeting with this group, she will let them have a good time…for now.
