The Talentless Sect Master Chosen By The System Chapter 172: Doubt

"Guys, I might have to leave the sect for some time." After receiving the message from Nightin, Lancelot called for everyone to meet him at the meeting hall, claiming that he has some instructions to announce.

"Why do you need to leave so suddenly?" Ayden asks in concern, being the person to have known Lancelot for the longest time here, he knows that Lancelot is a changed man ever since he got his revenge.

"I'm afraid that I'm unable to answer that question for now. At least until the day I return, I won't be able to share the reason for my sudden departure." Lancelot replies, his face determined as his lance appeared in hand, streaks of lighting bolts gathering beneath his feet.

"Lancelot, all of us trust you and we won't mind if you really want to leave for some time, but don't you think that we deserve an answer considering the bonds between us?" Alexander asks, expecting an answer as he tried to control his breathing and release his clenched first, Abby tugging at his arm from the side.

"I understand what you're trying to say here, but I really have to depart for some time, to a place which I never endeavored to step into." Lancelot says, his back facing them as he turned around slowly while trying to resist the heavy pressure on him, his movements were restricted and he found it difficult to breathe, but he maintained his calm posture and demeanor while he was screaming from within his heart.

"Selena, Ray, Alexander, Abby and Ayden please help me to look after the sect after I leave, do ensure that p.a.w.n doesn't strain himself too much by trying to step into the half divine ring realm of an array master either. His cultivation is already falling behind even though he's probably the strongest among us right now." Lancelot gives his last orders before turning around to leave, tears glistening around the corners of his eyes.

The only reason they're even near one of the overlord realms is because wherever water exists, flames will exist to ensure the perfect harmony and balance between elements are maintained.

Even though there are a few high grade realms with more concentrated flame energy, all of them weren't pure and as for the Inferno realm, the only reason its flame energy remains pure is because of Nirvana's sect efforts.

They cleansed the flame essence and made it pure by paying a hefty price, they spent months just to make it pure and it caused members of their sect to have their cultivation remain stagnant, but their kind deeds were returned when the heavenly spirit of the realm sacrificed a portion of its spirit energy for them.

From there, their cultivation soared and most people actually made a one major realm breakthrough, only a particular few with exceptional talent like Lancelot suppressed their cultivation intentionally to build up a stronger foundation.
