'So I have four options for a talent specialisation: brute, swift, immortal and mystical. Out of all these, mystical is no good as I didn't put any points in the Intellect attribute. And if I did start putting points into the attribute now, I would have to focus on more attributes which would weaken me in the long run. The other three are very solid, but I can only choose one.'

Raising her right arm, Liya began caressing her chin with her slender fingers. 'Strength, Dexterity or Const.i.tution. Rage generation from dealing damage, movement speed or rage generation from receiving damage. Weapon damage that gets increased from wrath, three guaranteed critical strikes or damage immunity for 15 seconds. It's a very tough decision, all three are all good specialisations, but which is the best one? Mhm… Strength increases physical skill damage, damage from auto attacks and physical critical strike damage. Dexterity increases physical skill damage, attack speed and critical strike chance. Const.i.tution increases maximum health. The choice is between Strength and Const.i.tution, and between these two the stronger one is brute.'

Liya selected the brute option and the talents window changed. In it was a black line that went from left to right to up to left again to up again, and so on. On the line itself there were squares and each square had a number above it. Out of all the squares only one wasn't dimmed down.

'A very good skill.' Liya allocated her skill point into brute slash and closed the talents window by tapping on the x icon on the top right corner. From the menu, she selected the character option and the character window opened.

Looking over her attributes Liya allocated 4 points into Strength, 1 point into Dexterity, 3 points into Const.i.tution, 1 point into Spirit and the last 1 point into Charisma.

Liya closed her character window by tapping on the x on the top right corner of the window, and closed the menu by swiping her fingers to the right. She walked out from behind the tree and saw Rick staring at the goblin he killed.

"Rick!" Liya called out.

Hearing her voice, Rick turned his head from the goblin to Liya. "I really think we should turn back," he said in a serious tone.

Liya nodded her head in understanding and seeing her nod, Rick breathed out a sigh of relief.

"You can go if you want, but I am going ahead."

Rick's eyes widened and he gritted his teeth. "Then, I am going as well."

Shrugging her shoulders, Liya said, "If you want."

"I do, I can't let you go against these monsters alone."

Liya nodded her head slightly. "It's your decision to make." She walked up to the goblin that Rick killed and bending down touched its corpse, an action that made the loot window open.

A confused expression appeared on Rick's face. "Why are you checking this monster again? It's the same one."

"No reason." Liya said as she tapped on the ten copper coins in the loot window, looting them.

They continued on, and another two goblins appeared in their path in front of them.

Liya and Rick exchanged glances and they both unsheathed the weapons and approached the goblins.

Dispatching them as easily at the others that they killed before, they continued on. On this path they came across many more goblins which they all killed. Which came to a total of 18 goblins and Liya levelled up by one level going from > to > and after she levelled they took another break so Liya could allocate her attribute points. She also received 180 copper coins or 1 silver and 80 copper coins.

They arrived near the entrance to the cave and in front of this entrance stood a goblin, but it was not like the other goblins. It had two short daggers in each hand and was wearing a leather helmet.

Rick furrowed his eyebrows. "This one looks different from the others."

Nodding her head firmly, Liya said, "Yes, he is. You approach from the left and I will approach from the right. The one that he attacks will fall back and the other one will strike from behind."

Rick nodded his head. "Alright," he accepted this plan as it seemed really safe.

Liya pulled out her two staves, holding one in each hand, and Rick pulled out his sword, holding it in his right hand. The two approached the goblin from opposite directions. The goblin turned his head towards Liya and as he decided that she was the weaker one. "Human woman, I am going to kill you! KIKIKI!"

The goblin vanished into thin air and Rick's eyes widened. "Where did it go?!" he shouted out shocked

'Did it go into stealth?' As this thought went through Liya's head, she felt a sharp pain in her back and she gritted her teeth through it and the goblin became visible and damage floated up above her head, <-238>.

"*Kikiki!* Got you! *Kikiki!*"

Liya turned 180 and slashed. The stave flew through the air, but the goblin vanished into thin air and her stave slashed nothing but air.

Rick ran up to Liya's side. "Are you okay?" he said with concern in his voice.

"Stand with me back to back," Liya said, ignoring Rick's question.

Rick nodded his head firmly. "Alright." They stood back to back.

"Where is it?" Rick asked after more than ten seconds after the goblin vanished.

"It's somewhere here. Keep your eyes and ears open." Liya said as she moved her eyes around everything that surrounded her.

Rick seriously nodded his head, "I see."

A few more seconds pa.s.sed and she felt a sharp object going into her stomach. Damage floated up above her head, <-265>>. Having received these two attacks she now had barely 10 rage, but it was enough for her to use her skill. She slammed her foot down, using the skill > The goblin was nowhere to be seen, but she knew that it was slowed and that it couldn't run away as fast as he was able to.

She unleashed three wide attacks and on her second slash the goblin appeared and damage floated up above his head. <-90>>. Gaining twice as rage from the attack she now had 19 rage and she slashed at the visible goblin with her other hand. Damage floated up above the goblin's head and it was a critical strike >

The goblin vanished into thin air and Rick shouted, glancing at her. "Did you get it?!"

'I will kill it when it attacks me again!'

"Liy—geh!" Damage floated up above Rick's head. > Blood spurted out of Rick's mouth, and he slowly collapsed on the ground, dead.

"*Kikiki!* The male human was the weak one! *Kikiki!*"

Liya without a change of expression on her face, slammed her foot down using the skill – >. The goblin got slowed and she quickly unleashed a barrage of attacks. Damage floated up above the goblin's head and he collapsed on the ground, dead.

Liya sighed out with relief. "It's dead." She turned her head to Rick. 'You should have went back. You can only blame yourself for overestimating your capabilities.' She moved her hand to the goblin and bending down touched its corpse.

'5 Dexterity, pretty good.' Liya tapped on the item, looting it. She stood up, raised and extended her right arm and swiped down, and the menu opened. She first opened the inventory and equipped the cap, then she closed the window by tapping on the x icon on the top right corner and selected character option from the menu.
